The Regrets of a Mother

Minato seemed to be walking alone towards the school gate that morning, wearing a thick gray leather jacket, the man sped up the scale into the school gate.

"What about Yuika..? Didn't he come today..?" Miki came over to Minato.

"I don't know, I called him many times last night, but his number was off. I also tried to send a message to whatsapp but until now he hasn't replied to it." Minato replied with anxious feelings.

"It's all your fault..! If you hadn't taken her to the beach that day, surely Yuika would be fine now." Cetus Miki with a pissed-off.

Minato only fell silent, knowing that he was the cause of Yuika to fall ill.

"What the fuck is you..! Stop blaming Minato." Hana tries to defend Minato.

Meanwhile at the residence of master Yoshimura. It was Yuika who was lying on the bed wearing a jacket and a thick blanket covered all parts of her body.

The girl's body temperature is still unstable, her fever has not dropped.

Mr. Yoshimura who was in the living room seemed to be talking to Miss Elena the mother of Yuika.

"Yes, the fever is still very high..! The doctor said he had just a normal fever and would get well soon, but if this afternoon the fever still had not come down as well, then I would take him to the hospital. Yes well, we're waiting for you..!" Said Mr. Yoshimura from inside the phone.

"Yes..! Let's get ready Dad will take you to school..!" Shouted Mr. Yoshimura shortly after hanging up the phone from his ex-wife.

"Miss Naomi couldn't pick you up this morning, in the middle of business..." Shouted master Yoshimura back.

"No, I don't want to go to school, I'll just keep Yuika's sister at home." Fuji came still wearing pajamas on his body.

"Dear come... You have to go to school..!" Mr. Yoshimura tried to seduce his little princess.

"No dad, I'm not leaving..!" Fuji ran into Yuika's room.

"Ah... That kid..!" Mr. Yoshimura resigned as he walked into Yuika's room.

"Darling, how are you feeling now..?" Ask Mr. Yoshimura while sitting on the side of the mattress beside Yuika, while touching his daughter's forehead.

Yuika did not reply, she just smiled while looking at her father.

"This time your mother is coming, she called you earlier. He's very worried about you, baby." Mr. Yoshimura said back.

"Would you really come..?" Fuji was pleased to hear that.

"Dear, your mother is coming. All right, I'll make porridge for your brother." Mr. Yoshimura then walked out of Yuika's room and went towards the kitchen.

After a while, Mr. Yoshimura returned to Yuika's room with a bowl of warm porridge and some medicinal pills.

"Darling, let's get up..! I brought you some warm porridge..!" Said master Yoshimura while sitting back at Yuika's side.

"Dad..! Let me feed brother." Fuji Vocabulary.

"Alright, but slowly, the porridge is still a little hot." Answer Mr. Yoshimura.

Fuji then fed Yuika very carefully.

"Dad has to go to Yuika's school this morning." Said mister Yoshimura while glancing at his watch.

"Father has contacted your teacher but is not connected, so maybe I should go to school to get a few days off for you" Yoshimura told Yuika.

"Can you take care of your brother until he comes back..?" Ask Mr. Yoshimura to Fuji.

"Yes yeah, go..! I will definitely take good care of my sister.

"Okay, baby, I won't be long. Don't forget after eating give the medicine to Yuika." Mr. Yoshimura then exited his daughter's room

At Otaru 1st High School during break time. Miki and Hana were walking near the school garden near the teacher's room, and they were about to head to the school cafeteria, accidentally the two teenagers saw Yuika's father who had just come out of the teacher's room.

"Uncle, how is Yuika doing now..?" Asked Miki worriedly.

"Oh you guys apparently..! The fever is still not coming down, it looks like uncle will take him to the hospital this afternoon." Said Mr. Yoshimura.

"Uncle came here to get permission for a few days' leave for uncle's daughter." Say again.

"Kasian Yuika's..!" Hana Seru.

"Uncle, if Yuika goes to the hospital, please tell us both, we will definitely try to come see her." Miki said with an increasingly anxious feeling.

"Yes, uncle will definitely contact you both. All right, then uncle should go back home now. Uncle is worried about leaving Fuji and Yuika at home." Said Mr. Yoshimura.

The two girls returned to the classroom, neither of them went to the cafeteria.

"Yuika, she, her fever is still not coming down. I'm so worried..! His father said he'd take him to the hospital this afternoon." Miki said to Minato who was standing with Mizuki by the window.

"Really..!" Said Minato who also looked very anxious.

"So me and Hana met Yuika's father in the teacher's room, she came to get a leave permit for a few days for Yuika.

"Come with us this afternoon to visit Yuika." Miki said to Minato as well as Mizuki.

"Yes, we're going with you." Minato Sahut.

Return to the residence of lord Yoshimura.

Yuika's father had just come home, he entered the yard of the house.

In front of the yard there is a car parked there, apparently mistress Elena has come to visit her daughter Yuika.

Mr. Yoshimura rushed inside the house and headed to Yuika's room.

"I'm sorry, but I have to go to school to get her leave." Yuika's father replied as he pulled out a chair and sat on it.

"We have to take him to the hospital. If you just let it go like this then the fever will not go down and get worse" said Miss Elena.

"I have an acquaintance doctor at Kasih Bunda hospital, we should take him there this afternoon." Madam Elena said back while stroking the head of Yuika.

"Dad..! Is Brother Yuika going to be okay..?" Fuji asked who looked anxious when he heard that his brother would be taken to the hospital.

"Dear, your sister will be fine. Don't fret.

"No ma'am, Yuika doesn't want to go to the hospital. Yuika is fine." Yuika.

"Darling, listen to me..! In the hospital you'll get better treatment." Miss Elena.

"Mother will always take care of you until your condition improves, you don't worry about having a mother with you." Miss Elena.

Lady Elena felt so guilty, this greeting she could not be by the side of her daughters, even for many years she lacked the care and affection as a good mother to her two daughters.

After the divorce from Yuika's father, Elena's mistress only spends her time with her own busyness.

There was a feeling of regret in his heart now.

"Come on Yoshimura, help me get everything ready, we're going to the hospital now. Don't delay any more." Madam Elena said as she wiped the tears dripping down her cheeks.

"Darling, come..! Help me pack your sister's clothes into the bag." Call Elena's nyona to Fuji.

After finishing packing all the needs of his daughter while later in the hospital. Then Yoshimura's master embraced the frail-looking Yuika downstairs into Elena's car.

"Be careful honey..!" Madam Elena exclaimed as Yuika got into the car.

"Wait a minute, I'll lock the door first." Yoshimura said as he ran back to the door and locked the door.

Then they went by car to Kasih Bunda hospital.
