Visiting Grandpa Minato

That afternoon Minato and grandfather were cleaning the courtyard of the house. Grandpa Minato who looked very old turned out to still have quite strong stamina. At the age of almost 75 years, he is still able to cut trees that grow wild in the yard of the house.

Minato's mother came to bring him some warm tea and some rice cakes.

"Dad......... Just rest for a moment..!"

Shouted Minato's mother as she placed the teacup and snack on the terrace table and then went back inside the house.

Minato and Grandpa then stop work and rest while sitting on the porch of the house enjoying tea and snacks made by Minato's mother.

"Ting..Kegs.......Ting..Kegs..."

"Ting..Kegs.......Ting..Kegs..."

From outside the fence, a bell rang.

Minato immediately walked out to open the fence, apparently Yuika that day came to visit to see Minato's grandfather.

"Good afternoon..!" Smiling Yuika said her regards.

"Good afternoon..!" Reply Minato who seemed happy to see Yuika coming to visit his house.

That day Yuika did not come alone, but she also invited Fuji along with her.

"Come in, grandpa's inside, he must be really happy to see you." Minato let Yuika and Fuji into the house.

Grandpa Minato who was sitting on the porch of the house smiled happily at Yuika's arrival.

"Finally you came too, son..! Grandpa has been waiting for you for a long time..!"

Grandpa Minato welcomed Yuika's arrival while hugging her.

"I'm sorry grandfather, son, at that time grandfather did not have time to thank you."

"No matter the cake, I'm also happy to be able to help grandfather, after all, shouldn't we help each other help..!" Yuika.

"Yes... You're right, son. Come on inside." Kekek Minato smiled as he invited Yuika and Fuji into the house.

"Is the one with you your sister..?" Grandpa Minato asked Yuika while glancing towards Fuji.

Yuika and Fuji went inside the house and sat on the living room sofa.

Fuji looked at every corner of the room and said,

"So Minato's house is so beautiful, brother..! Fuji also wants to have a beautiful house like this..!" Fuji Vocabulary.

"Silence Fuji..!" Whisper Yuika.

"Ha ha ha... You're so sweet..!" Grandpa Minato laughed.

"Alright, grandpa has a present for you two, wait here for a second."

Grandpa Minato then went inside the room.

Meanwhile Minato who had just come out of the kitchen brought Drinks and some snacks for the two of them.

"Let's Drink..!" Minato.

"Yes, thank you." Answer Yuika.

"Grandfather where..?" Minato looked astonished not to see his grandfather.

"Grandfather is going inside for a while, wanting to get a present for Fuji." Fuji to Minato.

"Fuji quiet..! What did you say to you earlier..! Whisper Yuika who began to look annoyed at his sister.

"Sister Minato..! Brother is very handsome..!" Fuji Vocabulary.

"really..? Ha ha ha... You are also very sweet..! Reply Minato while laughing.

"Sister Minato..! This rice cake is delicious..! Did you make it yourself..?" Said Fuji who seemed to enjoy the rice cake.

"No, you're not good at making cakes. The rice cake was made by my mother. Do you like it..?" Minato also seemed to be enjoying a rice cake made by his mother.

"Yes brother... Fuji really likes it..! Big sister Yuika is also very good at making cakes. Aren't you..?" Fuji Vocabulary.

Yuika just smiled looking at her sister.

"Where is your mother, by the way..? I didn't see it..? Yuika asked Minato.

"Mothers... It looks like mom is sleeping in her room." Answer Minato.

"Oh so." Yuika.

Soon Minato snickered back from the room with a box.

"It's take..!" Grandpa Minato gave the box to Yuika.

"Is this cake, grandfather don't bother to give us a gift." Said Yuika who rejected the gift from Minato snicker.

"No need to bother, take it, son. Think of this as your grandfather's gratitude."

Grandpa Minato also gave Fuji some chocolate packs.

"Thank you, cake..!" Fuji seemed happy to get a chocolate gift from Minato's grandfather.

Yuika opened the gift box from Grandpa Minato. Apparently the box contained a brush and watercolor, there was also a keychain in the form of a straw doll.

"Did you like it..? I heard from Minato, you're a painting hobby and very talented, so grandpa thought grandpa would give you what you needed." Grandpa Minato.

"It's a very nice cake, I really like it. Thank you very much." Said Yuika who looked very happy to get a new painting tool.

"And this... Is this your own grandfather who made it..?" Yuika takes the keychain from inside the box while showing it to Minato's grandfather.

"Yes son is made by his own grandfather, actually it belongs to Minato's grandmother. Grandpa has kept it for a long time. When grandfather was still very easy and met with grandmother Minato. Grandpa made that keychain for me to give it to him. But it's been a long time. And I thought the hanger would give to a good girl like you." Grandpa Minato explained.

Minato's grandmother had long since passed away, when after she gave birth to her second child, Minato's mother, was just 2 years old. Minato's grandmother died of kidney failure, which she had suffered for a long time.

Minato's mother has an older brother who lives in Tokyo. Minato's grandfather lived with his first child, Minato's mother's older brother, but now he decides to stay with Minato's mother because Grandpa Minato wants to live with his favorite grandson, Minato.

Grandpa Minato's face looked sad when he told him about his wife.

Minato's grandfather loved his wife so much that he decided not to remarry and continued to take care of his two children alone.

After a long conversation Yuika and Fuji then leave to return home.

"We'll come back later." Yuika said to Grandpa Minato while slightly bowing her body as a form of respect to the older person.

"Well son, grandfather would be so happy to see you again later. Be careful on the road, boy..!" Grandpa Minato.

Minato escorted Yuika and Fuji to the front of the gate of their house.

"See you, Minato..!" Fuji exclaimed as he waved his hand.

"Yes... See you soon..!" Minato also waved his hand.

Then Yuika and Fuji passed away leaving Minato's house.

Very beautiful afternoon, orange-colored twilight sky adds to the charm of its beauty. The two brothers walked home down the streets of the small town.

Fuji sometimes seems to run away from her brother while laughing happily.

and they finally got home.
