Life is More Meaningful with Sharing

Indeed, Mother Dianti was very happy with her husband who wanted to collaborate with her to visit the Mother's Orphanage. Not because Tendean's father came and gave a cake, but in the eyes of Mother Dianti it is clear that her husband is a sincere person. It was as if, the Tendean he had seen 26 years ago, with the Tendean now completely unchanged. Only his age continues to grow.

It can be remembered Bunda Dianti, because when he was in college in Bandung, Tendean was active in the medical student association. He has always been interested in charity and health. In the past, Dianti thought Tendean would become a Pediatrician because he loved to check on children. Even when KKN in one of the Puskesmas in Bandung, Tendean also helped in Poli Anak. Apparently after years of not meeting, Tendean actually became a Neurologist or Neurologist.

Now Mother Dianti smiles to see Tendean who gives lessons to children to maintain their own hygiene. The children in the orphanage were so excited to listen to the explanation from Tendean Father.

"Well, now I'm explaining. Children should all be diligent in bathing twice a day, brushing their teeth twice a day and do not forget to brush their teeth before going to bed, make it a habit to wash their hands with soap and running water. Health begins with self."

"Okay Doctor's father" the children replied in unison.

Tendean's father laughed. At Citra's house sometimes called him Opa Doctor, and at the Orphanage, the children here called him Father Doctor. However, he remained happy and being in the midst of children like this could provide his own happiness. Give him positive energy.

"Doctor's father, if Dika does not brush his teeth can it hurt?" Dika, one of the children at the Orphanage asked Tendean's father.

"Can dong Dika. Try, look at Dad. This is Dika's teeth. Every day when you drink milk, the rest of the sugar sticks to your teeth. Each heart eats rice, vegetables, fruit, candy, and others. There is food left on the teeth. Well, to clean it how? You have to brush your teeth until clean. That way his teeth Dika will be clean, not bad breath, also his teeth are not hollow. The tooth that was hollow hurt a lot. Has anyone ever had a toothache?" ask Daddy Tendean.

Apparently almost all children raised their hands, claiming to have felt a toothache. Until finally, Tendean's father spoke again. "Well, let not a toothache should diligently brush your teeth. After eating candy and eating ice cream should also brush your teeth well."

"Yes Doctor's Father ...."

The time at the Orphanage was really spent with the children, teaching the children to take care of their health. Until they had lunch together at the Orphanage. Although there is a sense of sadness to see the children only eat potluck. Kids need balanced nutrition, too.

"From my book's royalties, Mas. Then, there are regular donors like Radit and Khaira, there are others too. Mas Dean should also know that Anaya and Tama are also regular donors for the children here," said Mother Dianti.

Hearing that Anaya and Tama were also moved to help the disadvantaged children in this Orphanage, Tendean's father felt happy and proud. His son and daughter-in-law apparently took a step faster than him.

"Can I be a donor to the kids?" ask Daddy Tendean.

Mother Dianti also smiled. "It's not because of me, is it? I didn't ask Mas Dean at all" he replied.

Quickly Tendean's father shook his head. "No, I was the one who was moved to help them. Wouldn't life mean more if we wanted to share?"

Hearing what her husband said, Mother Dianti smiled. Yes, time has passed so quickly for 26 years. However, Tendean has always been a kind-hearted person and loves to help people in need.

"Yes, Mas. A useful life for others is very meaningful," replied Mother Dianti.

"From the end of this month well .. will I be a Donator here well? Later I can invite other Doctor friends to provide periodic health checks for children here. Let them always be healthy" said Tendean's father.

"Thank you very much, Dean. You've always been a good person. Thank you for giving heart to the children here," a thank you from Mother Dianti.

For Tendean Father this was no big deal at all. He is lucky to be able to help and share with the children here. In addition, Tendean Father who is a Doctor will also seek periodic health checks for children in this Orphanage.
