Retaliation of Persecuted Wife
Chapter 62 Children

Chapter 62

Child

After returning from the office I intend to visit Mba Mira and Almira, a tiny baby who at that time I had not seen. This time I came alone on my motorcycle.

It has been 3 days Mira is still unconscious. The news I received after exchanging messages this morning with Mas Fandi.

I parked my motorcycle in the parking lot of the Hospital. Then step towards the ICU room on the 3rd floor of this hospital.

This afternoon the Hospital looked a little crowded by the families of patients who came to visit. One by one, I passed through the elevator to take me to the 3rd floor to the ICU room.

Until there I saw Mas Fandi seemed still faithful waiting for Mira in the glass room. I then sent a message to Mas Fandi that I was in front of the ICU room.

Mas Fandi came out of the room to see me.

"Assalamualaikum, my dear."

"Waalaikumsalam, you came alone, Beautiful?"

"Yes, Mas. Here I bring you fruits."

I gave you the parcel I prepared to take to the hospital.

"Thank you, come on in. I'll wait outside."

I nodded, then went into the room where Mira's sister lay unmoved.

"Assalamualaikum, Ma'am Mira." My greeting even though he could not answer.

I sat on the chair beside the iron bed that held the weight of Mbak Mira, staring sadly at the pale face that looked asleep with my eyes closed.

I grabbed that unmoving hand and rubbed it gently.

"Wake up, Almira is waiting for you." Ogre me.

I gently rubbed the head of the woman who always smiled when looking at me. The woman who first invited me to be friends and who considered me to be her brother. I still feel the disbelief with what happened to Mira.

Mira's mother was diagnosed by a doctor with a cerebral hemorrhage and a right leg fracture. What a shame the accident that hit Mbak Mira.

"Mister, get up quickly. So that you can take care of yourself the beautiful baby you gave birth to. Isn't Mira and Mas Fandi really looking forward to your baby? Her name is Almira, beautiful mother name even though I haven't seen her yet, but I'm sure her name is as pretty as your heart and face as you."

I have no power to hold back tears. I can imagine how much your little one would need her mother's affection if Mira was still in a coma like this. Especially until Mira leaves this world. My heart wistfully imagines a child growing up without feeling a mother's affection.

It is true that there is a substitute woman mother, namely her grandmother or aunt. But her inner bond certainly differs between Mother and child, grandchild and grandmother or ponakan and her aunt.

I wiped a tear on the cheek as Mas Fandi entered the room. I turned around and stood facing the sad looking man waiting for his wife's consciousness.

"Sorry yes, I can't linger. I want to see little Almira. I haven't seen him yet."

"Alright Beautiful. I'm sorry for making you bother."

"No, I really wanted to come here." I said while looking at Mira before I walked away.

That afternoon Mira looked very beautiful in my eyes. It was as if it made me not want to take my eyes off her.

"Almira was in the child's room, I just saw her from there. He's sleeping after being given formula milk." Said Mas Fandi until I took my eyes off Mira looking at him.

I nodded.

"Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."

I left the ICU after leaving Mas Fandi. Walk slowly looking for the room of the child through the pointer arrow at the intersection of the Hospital corridor.

In the corner of the corridor I found a children's room. Baby Mama Mira and Mas Fandi entered the incubator due to premature birth.

I asked the nurse for permission to see Almira from behind the incubator glass. The tiny face of that sinless little angel warmed my heart. I would love to touch her reddish cheeks and hold her in my arms.

So happy is every parent who is blessed with the trust given to have children.

But sometimes there are parents who are not grateful for wasting their children. Throw away after childbirth or in living on the street. Though so many who hope to have offspring including me when still a wife Mas Heru.

Ah, how's that guy doing? May he realize his mistake and repent to Him.

Remember how I was often blamed by my former mother-in-law for not being able to give offspring to them. Until my former mother-in-law approved Mas Heru's marriage without my permission.

"Almira dear, may you be a sholeha and strong child dear."

Tears begin to condense in the eye. Think back to when Almira lost her mother. My heart is so sad to imagine it. Hopefully, Mama Mira can quickly wake up and get back to health so that the little Almira does not lose her maternal affection.

"O Allah, O Lord, take away the trouble and give Mira healing, only You are the Most Healing Substance." My prayers are clean and wipe away the tears.

I stepped away after I thought I had seen enough of the beautiful babies Mira and Mas Fandi. Heading to the hospital parking lot and riding my motorcycle home before Maghrib arrived.

Along the way Almira's face danced in my eyes. It seems I fell in love at first sight towards Almira. I kept thinking about the little angel and wanted to embrace the tiny body in my arms. What would it be like if I had a child?

What a wonderful gift if God trusts me to be a mother.

(POV Author)

"How's Mira doing?"

"Still the same. There has been no development. And Beautiful just left here, maybe she's visiting Almira."

"You didn't say it, did you, Bro?"

"No, as agreed by us."

"Yes better be. I also want to make sure more. How she really feels about me."

"Once again I'm sorry for Mira's request, Bro, it must have made things difficult for you."

"We've talked about this before, you don't apologize so often. You forget what kind of person I am? We've known each other since we were kids, and we've been waking up together trying."

"I know."

"Well, after work I'll drop by. What do you want to bring?"

"Don't bother, I can order food through the app."

"And not necessarily you ordered it? I know how your heart is. I'll be there now."

The conversation over the phone ended. Roy tidied up the belongings and prepared to leave the office to the Hospital where Mira was treated.
