Chapter 25. Regrets Gerald.

At Gerald's residence, the man opened his cell phone. He wanted to know what Gilang had sent him. Gerald opened the tape and heard confessions from his wife Merlin.

Gerald had no doubt, it was indeed his wife's voice. Gerald took the cigarette ashtray in front of him and threw it into the dressing glass, until it shattered.

Merlin who was rubbing Gerald became afraid to hear the sound of broken glass. He undoes his intention to go in and meet Gerald.

The man pulled his hair in frustration. He recalled reporting Agatha on murder charges and asking and paying the judge to impose the harshest sentence on Agatha.

"I am a fool. Could have been tricked by Merlin. If I didn't believe what she said, maybe I could live happily with my wife and children" Gerald said.

Again the man threw a vase of flowers against the wall until it was blown to pieces. Gerald remembered the time Agatha begged him.

Gerald recalled, before getting into the prisoner's car, Agatha turned and looked at him with sharp eyes and said, "You'll regret it someday if you know I'm innocent. I swear I'll avenge everything you've done to me!"

It's all finally proven, if I regret everything now. And what I regret the most, I don't know about Agatha's pregnancy.

Gerald stood up and walked down looking for Merlin, but every corner of the room on the first floor was nowhere he could find his wife.

Gerald again sat on the floor pulling his hair in frustration. Recall Gilang's rejection. Before he knew Gilang his son, he already loved the boy. What else after knowing it was his flesh blood.

"Discover my son. I love you, Son. Don't refuse my presence. I'll do anything to make up for all my mistakes."

Gerald took his cell phone and tried to contact Gilang. Several times trying Gilang did not also receive his cell phone call.

Gilang who was in the hotel, saw his Papa's name listed. He deliberately did not want to take the call.

After dozens of attempts, Gilang finally received a call on his phone. Gerald was very happy.

"I told you, if my father was only Bima. If I call Papa, it doesn't mean I accept your presence, Pa."

"Darling, Papa swears that your presence in your mother's womb is unknown to you. If Papa had known at the time that your mother was pregnant, it would have been impossible for Papa to imprison her."

"Does Papa know how I've had to suffer all this time. Separated from Mother. I'm in an orphanage and mom's in jail. Only the presence of Bima's father comforts me!"

"Once again forgive Papa, son!"

"I can't forgive Papa especially your wife Merlin. Just wait, there's still retaliation from me. For the vile slander of him I must be separated from Papa and Mother. The sickest one here is my mother. I have to be in jail pregnant!"

Gilang turned off his cell phone connection. Gerald shouted to call out his son's name. "Say ... Forgive Papa, Son!" shout Gerald.

Gerald stood up and looked upstairs. Merlin was looking at him. An emotional Gerald ran up the stairs and approached his wife Merlin.

Without Merlin guessing, Gerald pulled his hair hard until he fell to the floor.

"Let go, Mas. Sakittt... You can pull out all my hair!" shouted Merlin.

"It's all because of you! You slandered Agatha until I imprisoned her!"

"That's all your fault! You're the one making the report. Why blame me?" asked Merlin in a loud voice.

Hearing Merlin blame himself, Gerald grew more emotional and slapped Merlin's cheek hard until his lips broke and from the corner of his lips came out fresh blood.
