Chapter 39. Meet Gerald

Agatha was still shocked to hear everything Gerald's lawyer said. He was afraid of holding such a big trust. Afraid that everything will get messed up after being in his hands.

"Sir, it's not that I don't want to accept all this, but I'm afraid that I can't hold the trust. If indeed Mas Gerald wants to give up all his property for Gilang, would not Mas Gerald alone currently manage it until Lost adulthood and deserve it."

"Now! Let everything be sorted out. I'm asking for permission from my husband."

Agatha asked permission to contact her husband. He tried to contact Bima but no one picked up.

"Maybe my husband still has surgery. I left a message. Let's just go now.

Agatha and the lawyer went to the detention house where Gerald was. He just followed what his mother did.

"Are we going to see Papa Gerald, Mom?" tanya Gilang looked at the road leading to the detention house.

"Yes, Honey. I need to talk to your Papa."

Glazed just his head. She was sure whatever her mother would do was the best thing for her and mother.

Half an hour later Agatha and Gilang arrived at the detention house. The lawyer asked permission to meet Gerald. The man was taken to a special room.

Agatha and Gilang had been waiting for the man's arrival. There was a sense of nervousness that Agatha felt. I don't know what causes nervousness.

Gerald approached Gilang and hugged his son. Although a few days ago just met, but the taste of kangen is always there.

"Why is he healed?" ask Gilang. Hearing Gilang's son's question, Gerald's chest felt tight to explode. The taste of haru mixed with happiness makes his chest feel full. His son was still watching him.

"Papa is dying. You healthy, son?" Gilang only nodded his head in response. Agatha smiled seeing the interaction of the two.

Although the tightness is there, what else to see this detention house seems to remind him if he had lived here for so long. After a long embrace with Gilang Gerald's attention was on Agatha.

Gerald smiled at his ex-wife. Only then did the man realize that the woman he was facing was currently so beautiful. All this time his heart's eyes were closed with love for him to Merlin.

"Good day, Agatha. Nice to see you again" said Gerald nervously. He felt wrong about dealing with the woman.

"I'm healthy, Mom. I came with Gilang because there was a need with Mas Gerald," Agatha said frankly.

"Just say, Tata. What do you want to ask or say."

Hearing Gerald call his name Tata, made Agatha remember the special call Gerald gave her.

During her one-year marriage to Gerald, their household was only ordinary. Gerald did not show excessive attention or act rudely. The man came home from work, had dinner and went straight to sleep. That's daily.

"What do you mean Mas Gerald gave all the treasures to Gilang. I don't want anyone to get angry later and assume I taught Gilang to take away all of Mas's property."

"Who is angry? That is Gilang's right. After all all all my property, so I'm entitled to give it to who I want to be!"

"I'm afraid that Merlin will hate me and Gilang more. Isn't there a right for him in Mas Gerald's estate because he's Mas Gerald's wife."

Gerald smiled at Agatha's words. So this woman thinks there's a right for Merlin in her property.

"Merlin has no right to my property. We just married Siri!" said Gerald.

Agatha did not believe what she heard. Gerald didn't say anything wrong. For 8 years this man's marriage and Merlin's just a series.
