Chapter 25. Seeking Power of Attorney

Damian and Arthur enter the workspace used by Jimmy Li. They wanted to find a power of attorney that their father had signed.
"Where the file is stored" Damian muttered with both hands busy opening the drawers on the desk.
"The lawyer didn't keep the power of attorney, so it's most likely still in this house" Arthur said.
Daniel managed to infiltrate through a secret passage to get in and out of the room. In the corridor there was a statue of the Goddess, if it was shifted then there was an entrance hole into the space behind its walls. He used to be told by Jimmy Li while they were discussing the company and Daniam suddenly came home. That's when Jimmy told Daniel to get out of this room through the wall hole.
'Why do they seek power of attorney? Wasn't the letter held by the lawyer, Mr Leon, and me?' inner Daniel.
The two men are still searching for documents that will bring change to their future. Moreover, Arthur who will not stay because he got a lot of inheritance after the death of Jimmy Li.
"How, what did you meet?" ask Arthur.
"Not here either" Damian replied with a slight annoyance that they had been seeking the power of attorney since last night.
Arthur and Damian want to change Jimmy Li's will, after knowing the contents. Yesterday the two men went to a family lawyer who worked for their father. The lawyer said the contents of the will were the same as the contents of the current power of attorney. Of course both objected, because the company is now under the leadership of Leon and the highest shareholder is Sarah who is in the power of Daniel.
"Did Leon's brother hide the letter?" ask Arthur.
"If the will has been read it will be difficult for us to obtain the Li family's treasure. In part why you distinguish us from Leon. It's not that we're his kids, either" Damian's raving starts to get upset.
Daniel is still hiding behind the statue near the wall. He recorded the actions of the brothers, he thought this would be useful someday.
When Arthur pulls out a map with Jimmy Li's files, his hands shake and he sees Damian and Leon's DNA test results. The paper already looks yellowed by age. At first glance, the file is not important because it is in a pile of other files, but for Arthur and Damian it is half his life.
They can both hold positions as elite members of Black Eyes, because they are the children of large, established, and influential entrepreneurs in society and the country.
Damian and Arthur took advantage of the Li surname when working with many companies under the control of Black Eyes. Those people don't care about anything else that matters they get a lot of benefits.
Daniel's eyes widened when Nathan called him. He quickly turned off the call. Although that voice was immediately heard by some people.
"What's that sound?" ask Arthur on standby. He forgot to put the file back and now just lying on the desk.
Damian looked towards the source of the sound that felt around the Statue of Gods. His steps moved towards Daniel's hiding place with his one hand holding a gun.
