Chapter 38. The Mastermind Behind the Sweepstakes Coupon

Chapter 38

Daniel came to Marco's office. He wanted his father's accomplice who would later lead the Red Hair mafia group. However, he no longer wanted to have any business with the underworld.

"I'm sorry, I don't want to be chairman either" Marco said.

This man is aware that if he becomes the new chairman there will definitely be a split in this group. Not everyone here likes him.

"Oh, only you are truly loyal to this group!" pinta Daniel. 

Marco stared at the ceiling of his study. He did devote his life to Osama and the Red Hair group. He used to live in the cruel world. He almost died before being helped and taken care of by his father Daniel. That's why this man always tries to make his master happy. All orders from the chairman he always run without refuting.

Marco's devotion made him Osama's accomplice. The old man handed over all affairs to him despite being under surveillance.

"So Mr. Daniel said he didn't want any more dealings with the Red Hair group. Looks like it's gonna be hard. After all, it is your destiny to be in the circle of mafia groups. Especially with yourself who is an entrepreneur today that involves cooperation with many other companies. It won't be able to separate from our world" explained Marco, who now looks towards Daniel.

Sandra's husband clucked and confirmed this. So he did not want to cooperate with a company owned by mafia groups. 

"I may not want to have a cooperative relationship with you" Daniel said, shrugging his shoulders.

Marco nodded. Daniel did not know that the lottery paper he picked up from the trash was Osama's wits. The chairman gave him the task of helping his son not to experience difficulties let alone become a driver. 

For more than two years he sought the whereabouts of Daniel and was discovered accidentally while attending a business meeting in the city of Zhang. After that he sent someone to monitor the whereabouts of the heirs.

A piece of raffle coupon paper with Diana's birth number will definitely lure Daniel to pick it up. As they suspected, the man took the bait that had been provided. Only Osama, Marco, the owner of the FJK company, and the spy know all this.

"At least Master tried to be our leader until the Black Eyes group was wiped out. After that, let us decide the fate of this group" Marco said.

Daniel is stubborn and unyielding just like his father. However, he also has a sense of empathy and understanding like his mother.

Leon's office is in a state of disarray after a shootout between police and his two brothers. Damian and Arthur escape after detonating a smoke bomb in the room.

"Hurry after them!" shouted one of the police.

"Sir, there's a helicopter parked in the helipad field on the roof of the building" one person reported to Leon via the intercom.

"They must be going upstairs" Leon told police.

Everyone was chasing the two criminals by climbing the emergency stairs, because the elevator was being used. 

A few days ago, Leon had obtained a cctv recording from Dilan, which showed that Arthur was the one who went in and out of Jimmy Li's ward looking frantic on the day of death. Likewise with copyan health results belonging to his father who was already in a much better state. It becomes a nuisance if suddenly died without cause.

There was the sound of a helicopter propeller. As soon as the door was opened the strong wind immediately hit the police and Leon. Then, the helicopter went into the air leaving the helipad.

"They escaped!" Leon was furious. 

When he gets the fact that his father died from murder, Leon immediately searches for Arthur's whereabouts. However, his sister was not found anywhere.

"I need to find Daniel immediately. Because only that son-in-law can help me at a time like this," Leon muttered and turned into the building.

Now Leon has accepted Daniel as his son-in-law. It turned out that the man he used to consider despicable and lowly was helping the family a lot secretly. Now she understands why her father made her granddaughter-in-law. That was because Daniel was indeed a great person and deserved to be with Sandra and gave birth to future generations of Li family.
