Chapter 6. Enemies are Lurking Back

Chapter 6

Daniel goes to the crime scene, where Leon has an accident. There Nathan was already there and took many photos and videos of the state of the car belonging to Daniel's father-in-law.

"Hows it? What did you get?" ask Daniel as soon as he gets there.

"Their car broke up with one shot. Look at!" Nathan pointed to the broken car tire.

The car was upside down, this is what had made the rescue team difficult to get out the three passengers. There was a lot of blood stuck there. Even the fishy smell was very pungent.

"Has the bullet been taken by the police?" daniel asked after noticing the condition of his car tires.

"Yes. They managed to find the bullet" Nathan replied.

The young man was very sharp in vision and intelligent brained. To realize something like this was easy for him.

"Have you checked carefully?" daniel asked while receiving an android tablet from his friend.

All the information he got by Nathan he wrote there along with photos as evidence. As expected, Nathan's work was always satisfactory.

"Yes. I've told you everything in the file" Nathan replied with a proud smile as he watched Daniel smile as he read his report.

Nathan knows that Daniel is the type of person who likes information in detail despite the slightest thing. Just a pack of candy shells, for him it is an important information if there is around the incident.

"If the car tire is hit at a point 120 meters from the direction of the Diamond bank, then the sniper is at a higher place than the building. The only place was the King Hotel 250 metres from here" Daniel said, looking up at the towering building, which has a floor of up to 25 floors.

Nathan's mouth was open, as he did not think about where the man was shooting. He was just marking where the car tyre was shot.

"Are you going to check out the King Hotel?" nathan asked with sparkling eyes because he had fantasized about catching the criminal.

"I leave that to you. Because I have to go somewhere," Daniel replied with an eyebrow raised next to him as he looked at Nathan's disappointed facial expression.

"I'm sure you'll find a lot of clues because you're a great guy" said Daniel, and that made Nathan happy and excited.

"alright. Later I will contact you if I have managed to collect a lot of data and information that I get," Nathan said excitedly and Daniel also patted the young man's shoulders.

Daniel rushed to Sandra's campus. He slipped into the faculty area of economics and business. The man wanted to see his wife. He felt that it was the woman who was in danger. Even though Leon was actually the victim of an accident today.

It appears that Sandra is reading a book for someone else, but Daniel knows that the woman is reading a novel online through her smartphone. The girl ignored the temptations of her friend and still remained focused on her activities.

Daniel toured the campus area disguised as a student. He wears a casual suit like the appearance of students in general. His head was covered by a hat to disguise his face.

'The girl likes to go to any area of her campus, huh?' daniel's mind while looking at the state of the cafeteria that is quite filled with students who are eating or gathering while coffee.

'Do I have to hack this campus cctv, huh? In order to know where Sandra likes to spend time on campus, Daniel continued in his heart.

"How's it?" ask Daniel to the person he is communicating with.

"I'm done making the things you asked for" replied the person across the street.

"good. I like your quick work" said Daniel.

"Where do we make a deal?" ask the guy again.

"At a cafe near the station" Daniel answered and the call ended.

Sandra looked resentfully at Daniel as she got out of her car. The man looks handsome and dashing with a typical young casual dress. Many students were staring longingly at him.

"Why do you look like that? It's disgusting!" hina Sandra was inversely proportional to her feelings.

"Mr Leon is currently in the hospital. Madam wanted Miss to come straight there," Daniel said regardless of the insults for her earlier.

"Papa's in the hospital? Why her? What pain?" sandra asked, shaking Daniel's body.

"Master had an accident this morning. But the condition is not too severe despite having to be treated first in the hospital," Daniel replied calmly.

"Why can you experience that?" sandra asked with tears in her eyes. In his mind the father was lying flat on the patient's bed.

Without saying much more Daniel took Sandra into the car. He then drove his car out of the campus.

"Damn!" daniel then realized that there were two motorcycles and one car trailing them.

"Why?" sandra asked when she heard the swearing from the driver's mouth.

"It looks like we're being stalked by some people, miss. How'this? Want to stay in the hospital directly or do we go around first to get out of their diamonds?" ask Daniel.

Sandra's face suddenly pale when she heard someone was following their car. Sandra recalled the incident a few days ago, when they were also chased by a car and Daniel drove his vehicle at full speed and it made the girl in shock.

"Who are they? Why are they following us?" sandra asked while looking at Daniel who was still focusing on driving.

"I'm not sure who they are. You know yourself, don't you, that the Li family is in danger?"

Sandra fell silent and recalled what had happened to her family. Starting from a destroyed factory bombed and resulted in his grandfather being seriously injured. Then, he who is often followed by no one. His father had an accident this morning.

"Are they Li's family's business rivals?" ask Sandra.
