Chapter 67

Dor's! Dor's!

The sound of gunfire became clearer and closer. Daniel immediately pulled out his gun. Fortunately, he also carried his weapons that are often taken while traveling.

"Quick we have to get to the temple!" the commanding officer of the team that picked up Daniel.

"Mr Daniel. We'll ride the same horse. We have to ride horses fast. I'm afraid you're wretched" said the young man again.

Without wasting any time Daniel got off his horse and went with the others. Meanwhile, the horse that Daniel had been riding was carried by one of Master Fang's students.

Daniel and the people who were Master Fang's students rushed away from there. As soon as the gunshot came closer.

The horses they rode ran very fast. Even Daniel held a strong hold on his saddle.

"Let'soo!" The sound of screaming from their opponents 

Daniel gave a counter-shot to the enemy and hit their bodies directly. The men fell to the ground as bullets hit their bodies.

"Hurry up!" Shouted the man who brought Daniel.

They also feel happy when they see there is a gate from a distance. They also moved their horses faster 

"Don't let them get away!" Shouted their opponents from a distance.

Daniel and the others made it into the temple. This place was so vast and the building they saw this. Now they are safe from the attacked side.

The man riding the horse with Daniel took him to the main building. They met an old man who was meditating. Some people do the same thing with that person.

"They're doing meditation?" ask Daniel.

"Yes. With a calm heart and mind, they can control themselves" replied the young man, later known as Ryu.

Marco went to his friend Daniel's hospital room. He got word from the doctor just now that the man who had been tortured by Peter and his men, was awake. They don't know that this guy is alive.

"What did they do to you?" ask Marco.

The man opened his mouth but there was no sound from his mouth. Then, the doctor who is responsible for treating this patient, checked his condition again. Why until that guy can't talk.

Having just been left for half a day by Daniel, Sandra was already feeling very long for her husband. Without feeling her tears melt.  He could only look at the handsome face of the man through a photo on his cell phone that he took during a vacation at a hotel near the beach yesterday.

"Why is your face getting better and better looking. Just be careful if you dare to cheat," muttered Sandra monologue.

Dina and Lisa who heard Sandra's words just chuckled. They know what the character of the man is. Daniel was a loyal man, but rarely spoke much. 

The plump woman, now is cleaning up some magazines and novels in the room. Sandra was bored as well. 

"May I ask you something, Lisa?" Sandra stared intently at her husband's foster mother.

"Of course you can, Miss. I'll answer as long as I know" Lisa replied.

"Did Daniel ever love anyone? I mean I love a woman before I meet me?" ask Sandra.

Lisa just shook her head. Then, he said, "Why is Miss Sandra even asking something like that? What matters now is that Mr. Daniel loves Miss so much."

Sandra nodded her head. Actually he wanted to know if Daniel had an ex-lover, what he would do if they met again. Last afternoon Sandra got a message from Mary that Ronald was coming home because he had entered a long holiday.

'If I see Ronald back, what should I do?' inner Sandra.

Lisa could see there was a sense of anger from Sandra's eye beam. He was convinced that Daniel's wife was thinking about something difficult.

"What's wrong Miss? If there's anything just tell me. Who knew I could help?"

Lisa held Sandra's hand and rubbed her gently. He remembered his promise to Daniel that he would take care of Sandra as long as her master was gone.

"May I tell you this, Lisa?" there was doubt from the pregnant woman's facial expression.

"Of course you can, Miss Sandra. I'll be a good loyal listener" Lisa replied with a gentle smile.

"I have a boyfriend named Ronald. Daniel also knows who he is. We parted ways because he was studying abroad and helping his family company there. We parted ways, but we're still communicating well" Sandra said.

"Ronald and I loved each other. Even though I'm married to Daniel, my relationship with him is going well. Until one day, I was scared to lose Daniel. Unknowingly, I fell in love with him. Since then I've never called Ronald again. Every time he calls I ignore him. He sent me messages often, and I never responded" Sandra continued.

"In my heart this feeling for Daniel grew bigger and deeper. I forgot about Ronald. My days are filled with Daniel. Every day I think about him. Miss him. A day did not see him feel homesick" Sandra added.

"I was thinking what if Ronald came here? What am I supposed to do?"

Sandra's face turned sad. The cheerful expression that is often shown is now lost to nowhere. The charming smile that often makes Daniel also follow the smile is also lost. There were tears that fell so hard out of his net.

"I was afraid that Daniel would get angry or jealous when he saw me with Ronald. That's why I asked you about the woman Daniel loved. He could have had a woman he had loved in the past before he met me. Because there are so many things about Daniel that I don't know" Sandra said, withholding her sobs.

Lisa hugged Sandra's body and rubbed the pregnant mother's back gently. As a woman Lisa understood the feelings of this lady.

"Please don't look at the past, but look at the present and your future. Moreover, there will be this fruit of your love. Get rid of those bad thoughts" Lisa said gently. Like a mother advising her daughter

Sandra's bedroom door was open. Looked Sindy out. It turns out that the woman was looking for her daughter's whereabouts.

"You should go to bed now, honey. It's not good for pregnant women to stay up every night" said Sindy.

Sandra would not have to obey her mother's orders. He still wants to talk a lot to Lisa. With a heavy heart the pregnant woman was walking with a shunt accompanied by Sindy.

Lisa could only stare silently at Sandra. Being the wife of the head of a mafia group is not going to be easy. She recalled Diana, the mother of Daniel, and wife of the Mafia leader Red Hair.
