Rise Again As A Rich Man

Rise Again As A Rich Man
Rise 7 - Reason

A while ago…

Hendry stepped out as soon as he finished paying for all the items he had just bought.

In his hand, the man grasped two boxes of coffee stands and did not forget a small snack.

Earlier, while busy cleaning the glass on the tenth floor, he was suddenly approached by George's secretary who asked him to buy coffee and some snacks for the division led directly by George.

Without being able to refuse, Hendry immediately obeyed the man's words and immediately went to the nearest coffee shop to buy what they ordered.

The man was now standing by the road, about to cross over and immediately returned to the office.

Hendry switched focus on his phone. Checking back all the items requested by his boss to make sure there was nothing he missed.

While busy checking his phone, he did not realize that since then a man was standing right next to him by carrying a pile of items high enough and almost blocking his view.

The man seemed to be both about to cross over like himself.

Bruk!

Without warning, some items at the top fell right on Hendry. Making the man instantly jerked made.

Hendry grimaced with the pain he felt on the shoulder. One of the objects the man was carrying injured his shoulder quite badly.

"Good God, I'm sorry." The man immediately put all the goods he carried on the sidewalk and rushed to help Hendry who was now sitting on cement ground.

"Arrghh…"

"I was really unintentional. You okay?" The man looked at her with a worried face.

"I have a little bit of pain" said Hendry.

"Let me help you stand up." The man helped her to wake up.

"Aww.." Hendry squealed in pain as the man tried to put his hands around his neck.

"Gosh, is it really that painful? I'm really sorry. Let me take you to the hospital to have you checked out, okay?"

"It's okay. I don't have much time. I have to get back to the office before my boss gets mad."

"Have not refused, I will take you to the hospital. You're afraid your wounds are bad."

"My condition is fine. What I'm more worried about is the food my boss ordered." Hendry glanced at the coffee that spilled on the street and his snacks that had been destroyed by the car.

If I go back empty-handed, they'll be angry. What am I supposed to do now? My money won't even be enough to buy a new one.

"Then let me buy you a new one as my apology."

"Eh?"

"Wait a minute!"

The man entered the shop that Hendry had entered. Before long, he returned with some stuff in his hand.

"This. I'm really sorry I hurt you, but are you sure you don't want to be taken to the hospital?"

"It's okay. Let me treat the wound myself. Thanks for changing the food."

"This I did because I felt guilty for making you hurt. Oh yeah, take this too." The man handed Hendry a card.

Hendry grabbed the card he was given. He looked at the business card he gave.

"I won't calm down before making sure you're okay. If you need medical expenses, just call the number listed there. Okay?"

"I-this.." Hendry fell silent. He looked back at the business card in his hand.

CDS Corps's. The name is there.

THE CDS? Isn't this a big company?

Hendry looked up to ask the man he met. But as soon as he switched from his business card, the man had disappeared somewhere.

Where was the man?

Hendry spread his eyes around. But the man was completely gone from his sight.

...*...

Hendry stepped out of his bathroom wearing only a towel which now wrapped his lower body.

Next to the man's hand was busy cleaning his wet hair with a small towel.

He walked over to the closet to find clothes for her to wear.

"I still feel pain from the incident earlier this afternoon," he murmured softly as he closed his closet.

Hendry suddenly stopped. His attenuation was directly fixed on his shoulder.

He stared at his reflection in the mirror.

"It should still hurt. It turned out to be quite a severe wound."

Hendry noticed again the wound on his shoulder. The wound was quite severe on his shoulder. No wonder she felt pain all day.

Hendry walked out of the mirror and put on his clothes. After that approach the bed to take a hair dryer so that the hair dries faster.

Once again, he was seized by a business card given by a stranger this afternoon.

Hendry grabbed the business card and watched it once more. It was hard to believe he had just been given a business card with a label that read CDS Corps.

"In hindsight, where did that man know the contents of the order I made? How does he know what coffee I buy and what snacks I order?"

"It feels weird…"

At present…

Isaac walked with big strides following Donna who was now breezing along the passageway, about to go to the place where his first son was.

"Mama!" The boy called out to him. "Wait a minute!"

Isaac restrains Donna, clutching her leg and stopping the woman.

"What's wrong? You're trying to stop Mom from scolding your sister?" Asked the woman in a tone that was still somewhat annoyed.

"No, no." Isaac shook his head slowly.

"Then why are you following Mama?"

"I want to explain what really happened."

"Huh?"

"Mama misunderstood me. I'm not hurt because of George. But I'm hurt by falling."

"Fall down?" Donna frowning—bingung. "Where did you fall? Then why is the wound so bad?"

"I-I was trying to pick up my toy that was on the shelf. But because it was too high, I used a chair and accidentally fell down until the toy hit my shoulder" he said.

Goody. A totally absurd reason. I hope he believes in the reasons I made him.

Although I'm not sure Isaac put his toy on the shelf.

The boy's face looked a little nervous. Sweat pours out on his forehead, other than because he was tired but because the child had also just lied and hoped Donna did not realize it.

"really? When did that happen?"

"S-every night…"

"So it's not because George pricked you again?" ask Donna to make sure.

Isaac shook his head slowly.

"Thank God it wasn't because of George. Mama thought you were hurt because of George. But it turns out that mama was prejudiced by him." Donna breathed a sigh of relief. He seemed calmer hearing his confession just now.

Fortunately, he believed in the reasons I made him.
