Rise 8 - Diagnosis

"Huft~" Isaac heaved a sigh of relief. He really felt calm because the reason he made really managed to make Donna believe.

Fortunately I believe. Now I can be calmer.

Isaac glanced at George who was now sitting next to him while staring out the window.

I didn't do that because I was protecting you from being upset by your mother. But I did it because I had to look at your movements forward.

I have to see if you're going to keep acting nice to me, or if you're going to bully me when your parents are off guard.

In addition, there is something I must make sure also about the wound on this shoulder.

"Memory loss in part?" reset Gerald.

Helio nodded slowly then said, "And it seems like this is what caused him to be unable to remember anyone."

"Can Isaac recover, doc?"

"This is only a temporary memory loss. So his memory can come back at any time without us ever expecting."

"Thank God, we're glad to hear it." Donna breathed a sigh of relief.

I kept thinking about it since. What happens to my body when my soul is in Isaac's?

Would I rather go check on him?

Isaac was silent without a word. Both of the neutrals were out the window. Staring at the cars and some of the buildings they passed.

"Honey, how about we visit a place we used to visit before we went home?" asked Donna while looking at the back seat where she was sitting.

Isaac immediately turned to focus on him.

"Visiting a place we used to visit?" reworked.

"Yes. The doctor said it could help your memory recover quickly."

"By visiting familiar places that we often visit, it can trigger your memories back," Gerald added, taking a quick glance.

"Hows it? You want?"

Isaac was silent for a moment. He's trying to rethink Donna and Gerald's offer just now.

Visiting places they used to visit?

This will be a good opportunity! I could ask them to go to my parents' house. That way, I can check their situation!

Isaac smiled knotingly. The timing is absolutely right.

"I want to!" he said while nodding his head.

Isaac dropped his body on the grass. His breathing was breathless, and sweat poured down his body.

"Hosh…"

"Truly exhausting."

"But I was finally able to escape from them" he said slowly.

Isaac tried to catch his breath.

She has been trying hard to escape from Donna and Gerald. But his chance ended up failing repeatedly.

Donna and Gerald take her to visit some of the places their family used to visit. Starting from the mall where they usually play in the arena of games, amusement parks, and several other places.

Every time he visited the place, his head really hurt, along with various pieces of memory popping up in his mind.

Most of the pieces of memory he got were memories of the incident in which George treated him harshly.

I thought George was a criminal. He is really good at acting. Just try if yesterday I was eaten by acting, I could have experienced the same thing as before.

Isaac stared straight at the branches of the tree from where he was lying.

The boy is now in the bushes, hiding to keep Donna and Gerald from finding him.

After visiting many places that give him a headache, Isaac asks Donna and Gerald for them to go to the beach together to be calmer.

Unsuspecting at all, Gerald and Donna agreed to his invitation.

Upon arriving at the beach, Isaac invited them to play hide and seek. Of course it was just his pretext to be able to go visit Lucas and Trixie's house. Because the original parents' second house is located just not far from the beach.

"All right! There is no time for lazing. The time is really little, and I have to make the most of it."

Isaac rose from his position. Sitting in the grass which is now a place to rest.

"Let's see. From where I am now, it would not take me too much time to get to my house first. The distance is quite far, but it will be faster if I cut the path through the secret path I used to make with papa."

"It will take five to ten minutes for Isaac's parents to realize their child is missing. And before they know it, I should be back."

Isaac stared at the clock that was now coiled around his wrist

"If my calculations are not wrong, I can cut off about two to three minutes using the secret passage, whereas if using the alternate path to the beach, it will take longer."

"That means I can have some time to look around a bit longer at my house."

"But the problem is, does my secret path exist? The thing is, I'm not in my body and that means, it could be what's supposed to be, so there's nothing."

"And if that happens, it'll be a big deal for me."

Isaac stood up and cleaned up a bit of his dirty clothes.

"I better check it out first. If that road doesn't exist, then I'm forced to change my original plan."

The boy passed away leaving his place. Breezed hastily towards the secret path he meant.

Along the way, he tried to make the road exist. Because that way, it will be faster for him to arrive at Lucas and Trixie's house.

After walking quite a distance, Isaac finally found the place he was looking for.

"Meet! Unexpectedly, this secret passage is there!"

Isaac smiled faintly at the path that was now before him. The secret path made by himself and Lucas while still living in Future City first.
