Rise Again As A Rich Man

Rise Again As A Rich Man
Rise 9 - Daughter

Isaac sauntered down a path that was nothing but a secret path to his home.

After stepping along the road, Isaac finally found the building that was his home.

"I finally arrived" he murmured softly. He sped up his pace, running towards the building he saw.

Arriving in the backyard, he immediately approached the room on the south side. The room is located close to the park, and the room is none other than his when he lived in the house.

Isaac approached the glass door. Look into the room that used to be his room.

Because the glass was dark, I could not see clearly inside.

Is there no one?

What that means is, I was never in this family if my own soul was in Isaac's body.

Isaac lowered his head with a gloomy look.

...*...

The girl's attention instantly shifted as she felt that someone was watching her.

He turned to the glass door that led directly to the garden next to his house.

The dark glass made him unable to clearly see the figure standing there.

The boy got up from his seat, shifting his focus away from the toy he had been playing with.

Her tiny legs stepped towards the door, and stared at the figure of the boy who appeared right outside the door.

"Yeah!!"

"Yeah!!"

Hera screamed when the boy suddenly shouted hysterically.

Bruk!

The bodies of both reflexively fell on the floor. Both of them could not hide their surprise.

Isaac was stunned for a moment. His face was pale, he was completely shocked by what had just appeared before him.

The girl had irregular hair, with a white nightgown covering her knees.

For a moment he thought the boy was a ghost.

Wh-what was that? Isaac was trying to digest what he had just seen.

On the same side, Hera was no less shocked than the boy.

What made the girl surprised was not because of Isaac who suddenly appeared, but because the boy suddenly just shouted to make him shocked not to play.

Wh-who was that? his inner.

Hera woke up slowly. Curiosity prompted him to check again who was outside his room.

He walked slowly towards the glass door. Sticking his body at the door until he could clearly see the figure of Isaac looking up at him with a pale face.

Isaac and Hera looked at each other. It made them instantly aware of each.

"Huh?" The two looked at each other with confused faces.

A daughter? Who is that girl in my room? Why is he there? Isaac frowned—bingung.

Isaac rises. Walking over to Hera, eroding the distance that stretched between them.

Hera seemed to be tilting her head with an astonished face.

Who her? Why is there a boy outside my room? Hera watched him from top to bottom.

Looking at his appearance, it seemed like he was not a strange person. Is he lost? Hera noticed him for quite a long time before then her attention was seized by the sound of the door opening.

"Hera, are you okay, baby?"

Hera turned her head towards the arrival of the voice, finding Trixie walking towards him with an anxious face. Beside him, Lucas walked along. His expression was as anxious as Trixie's.

"Mama, papa?"

Hera was silent without a word. He glanced out the window, and Isaac who was supposed to be outside suddenly disappeared from his sight.

"Why baby? Are there bad guys outside? Why are you looking out?" Lucas went to check out his daughter's room to make sure everything was safe.

Lothawat! If you see the boy how? I have to prevent it.

Hera pulls Lucas' hand, making the man's move instantly stop.

"There's nothing outside" he said.

"Really?"

"Then why are you yelling, baby?" Trixie asked again.

Hera was silent again. He was confused what to answer, to him he was not too good at finding excuses.

"I-I was just surprised that there was a knock at the door, but when I turned my head there was no one. I thought there was someone, after I checked it turned out to be just a bird that accidentally hit the door" he said.

May my mom and dad believe, he thought. The girl now seems nervous, anxious whether Trixie and Lucas will believe her words or not.

"Mama guess why. It's just because of that." Trixie breathed a sigh of relief.

"You really make papa and mama anxious, baby. I thought there was something that made you scream like that."

"Nothing, hehe…"

Thank goodness they believed my words. Hera breathed a sigh of relief.

"Yes, now let's go to the dining room. Mama made us lunch."

"You must be hungry after playing all day, right?" Trixie got up, clasped Hera's hand and was about to take her out.

"Wait. Can mom and dad go first?" Hera stopped both.

"Why? Is there something you should do?"

"Hm." Hera nodded. "Just for a minute" he added.

"All right, not too long. Because you can't wait for lunch" Lucas said.

"Okay."

Trixie and Lucas step outside leaving Hera alone in her room. The girl had to check something before she left.

He had to ascertain whether the boy he saw was still there or not.

Hera approached the door, opened it slowly as she stepped out.

Where was that boy?

Hera spread her gaze around, trying to find Isaac who had suddenly disappeared somewhere.

Both netraannya then caught the figure he was looking for. Sitting near the door, leaning against the wall with his face bent between his hands folded on his knees.

Hera walked over to the boy. Standing right in front of him while looking at him.

She why? Hera raises next to her eyebrows—bingung.

The girl squatted in front of him. Align his views with Isaac's current position.

Meanwhile, Isaac who caught his silhouette instantly raised his head.

As soon as they looked up, their eyes were right against each other.

The face of Hera changed. He looked surprised by Isaac who had been sitting in tears. Tears drenched the boy's face.

D-he's crying?

"W-are you okay?" Hera stretched out her hand. Unknowingly his hand wiped away Isaac's tears.

That reflex made Isaac move to rub both of his cheeks— erased his tears quickly.

"I'm fine," Isaac said as he turned his face the other way.

"You sure?"
