Ryunomizu - Nine Elements Family
Chapter 20 Childhood and Worry

Ryu suddenly falls ill and is unconscious. His body felt weak, and he felt like he was being carried away by the flow of time into a different reality. In this state, Ryu finds himself in his dream world, in his childhood filled with mystery.

He stood in front of an old house made of wood and decorated with colorful flowers. This is the house where he spent his childhood, although all this time he never knew what his origins were. Now, in her dream, she could feel the fresh scent of the flowers and hear the low boisterous children playing around her.

As he stepped closer to the house, the door opened, and he went inside. Inside, he saw two figures that had been a mystery to him all along. They were his father and mother, two people he had never known before.

His father, a man with black hair and blue eyes like the ocean, smiled gently at Ryu. "Welcome, Ryu. I'm Ryota Mizu, your father."

Ryu's mother, who had long silver hair and the same eyes as Ryu, also smiled lovingly as she stroked Ryu's head. "I am Aya Mizu, your mother."

Ryu was stunned to see the two. She had never known her origin or her family before, and now, in her dreams, she felt like she had gotten answers to the many questions that had haunted her all along.

Ryota and Aya explain about their very special family heritage. They were the inheritors of the Spirit of the Universe, an ancient entity consisting of the four Core Spirits, namely fire, water, air, and earth. The Spirit Core was the guardian of the power of the natural element that possessed great power.

Kasai no Tamashii ( ⁇ ) - Spirit Core Fire.

Mizuumi no Tamashii ( ⁇ ) - Water Core Spirit.

Kuki no Tamashii ( ⁇ ) - Air Core Spirit.

Tsuchi no Tamashii ( ⁇ ) - Ground Core Spirit.

The Mizu Family was the heir of the Water Core Spirit. They have a great responsibility to protect and maintain the strength of the water element. That is why they always live hidden and distance themselves from the outside world, so that the power does not fall into the wrong hands.

Ryota explained further, "Each Core Spirit has a unique ability and power to influence its natural elements. The Water Core Spirit is the guardian of the power of water that encompasses all forms of water, from river water to morning dew. The power of the water element is our legacy, Ryu."

Aya added, "We always try to protect and keep the power of this water element from being used for evil purposes. That's why we keep living in solitude."

Ryu was amazed and moved to hear his family's story. He finally finds out who he really is and where he came from. This is the answer to all the mysteries that have surrounded him.

That night, Ryu and his parents sat together on the porch of their house, looking at the shining stars in the night sky. They talked about their responsibilities as the inheritors of the Water Core Spirit and how they should protect the power of the water element.

Ryota said, "Ryu, our family has been guarding the power of this water element for generations. Now it's your turn to understand it and continue our family legacy."

Ryu nodded firmly. "I will do my best to protect the power of the water element and guard the world from threats."

Ryu continued to sleep in his sleep, showing no signs of awakening. Deep worry engulfs Mizugakure Village, especially in Mizuki's heart. It had been seven days since Ryu had fallen ill and was unconscious, and there was no sign of improvement.

Mizuki spoke in a soft voice, "Ryu, I know you will recover. We need you here. Everyone's worried about you."

He grabbed Ryu's hand and felt how cold it was. This village chief felt helpless, unable to do much to help his best friend. The village life and the battle against Kage no Kizuna felt hollow in Ryu's absence.

Meanwhile, in her dream world, Ryu continues to walk with her parents. They talked about how Ryu should understand and control the power of the water element that their family inherited. This was an important lesson, and Ryu was so eager to learn.

On the other hand, in the real world, Mizuki meets a ninja medical expert who has been deployed to take care of Ryu. The ninja doctor examined Ryu carefully, but he could not even find the exact cause of Ryu's illness.

The ninja doctor said, "Village Chief, this is very strange. There were no signs of infection or poison in his body. We don't know what's going on."

Mizuki felt more and more anxious. He knows that time is passing, and the longer Ryu is unconscious, the greater the worry of his fate.

Meanwhile, in her dream world, Ryu learns more about the power of the water element. His father explained that they had to find the sources of energy that underlie the force of the water element. These sources are referred to as "Spirit Sources," and each Spirit Core has its own Spirit Source.

Ryota explained, "The Source of Water Spirit is called 'Mizu no Seisei' ( ⁇ ) which means Pure Water Spirit. To understand and control the power of the water element, you must connect yourself with Mizu no Seisei."

Ryu listened attentively. He knew that this was an important part of his learning journey. He had to find Mizu no Seisei and understand the source of the water element's power.

Back in the real world, worry and unease struck Mizugakure Village. Mizuki felt increasingly burdened by her responsibilities as the village chief. The battle with the Kage no Kizuna was getting closer, and the loss of Ryu was a huge blow to this village.

Mizuki decides to speak to the village ninjas, who have worked hard in the investigation and protection of the village. He stood in front of them with a face full of feelings, "We must not give up. We must continue to find out the cause of Ryu's disease and how to save him. This village needs us all."

The village ninjas nodded in agreement and promised to continue working hard. They knew that the future of Mizugakure Village depended on their joint efforts.

Meanwhile, in her dream world, Ryu continues to walk with her parents. They took him to a beautiful lake, where the water flowed quietly. His father explained that this lake is the place where Mizu no Seisei resides.

Mizu no Seisei appeared as a figure of sparkling water in the middle of the lake. This spirit had a peaceful and powerful presence, and he smiled at Ryu. Ryu felt a strong connection to this Water Spirit, as if they had met for a long time.

Mizu no Seisei spoke a language that only Ryu could understand, "Welcome, Ryu. You are the heir to the power of the water element. I will teach you how to control it and protect the world from the threat of Kage no Kizuna."

Ryu was happy and grateful. He knows that this is the first step in his new journey, and he is ready to learn more about the power of the water element.

While in the real world, Mizuki and the village ninjas continue to search for answers to Ryu's disease. They will never stop fighting for the safety of their best friend, and they hope that one day Ryu will return to them.

With a strong hope in their hearts, Mizugakure Village remains united and ready to face any challenges that will come, including the battle against the approaching Kage no Kizuna.
