Chapter 26 In Devotion

Ryu sat by the lake, pondering deeply about everything that had happened in his life lately. He felt like his life had changed so quickly since he first realized the power of the Water Spirit Core that was within him. The journey and training he had gone through with Master Aozora, his encounter with Mizuki, and the Water Core Spirit secret that Kagetora Kurosawa had recently revealed, were all filling his mind.

He stared at the calm water of the lake, watching the reflection of his face reflected on the surface of the water. He felt so small and weak in the face of such a great force of nature. However, in this weakness, there is also a strong desire to develop and make the ninja world a better place.

"All this feels so heavy" he murmured softly, recalling everything that happened. He felt burdened by the great responsibility that had been placed upon him as the heir of the Water Core Spirit. The strength he has is a gift, but also a burden he must bear wisely.

Ryu thinks about his new friends, Mizuki and Kagetora, as well as his old friends in his village. They have all given him support and guidance on this journey. Ryu felt lucky to have great people around him who always supported him.

However, there was also a sense of anxiety that haunted him. He wondered about the threat of the mysterious group that had been terrorizing his village and whether they were trying to steal the power of the Water Spirit Core. Who're they? And what is the real motive behind their attack? These questions kept piquing his mind.

Ryu pondered about the training he had gone through with Teacher Aozora. He knows that his training journey is not over, and there is still a lot he has to learn and master. The Water Core Spirit had many aspects to explore, and he had to master them well.

Ryu remained seated by the lake as the sun sank further in the western horizon. Orange and purple colors replace the bright blue sky, creating a beautiful and soothing sight. A gentle breeze wagged her black hair as it groaned on her shoulders. For Ryu, this moment was a time to reflect and permeate everything that had happened in his life.

Ryu's gaze drifted upwards, in the middle of the star-filled sky. Amongst those stars, he looked for signs of the existence of the Water Core Spirit that was within him. After intensive learning with Master Aozora, Ryu begins to understand how to control the power of the water element present within him.

The Water Core Spirit, as described by Master Aozora, is the source of pure water power inherent in the streams of rivers and lakes. Ryu's inner self has great potential to control this water element, and he has embarked on a long journey to uncover that potential to the fullest.

However, even though he has made progress in understanding the water element, there are still many mysteries to be solved. He tried to recall the teachings given by Master Aozora during his training.

Ryu reminisced about the moment when he first managed to form a small stream of water with his bare hands. It was an achievement-filled first step on the way to mastering the water element.

Then, he recalled in the second stage, "Ombak Hening (Seishizan)..." The second source of strength of the water element is "Silent Tambak." It represents the calm and profound strength of the waves. Ninja must learn to control the waves calmly and understand the balance between strength and calmness.

He recalled the times when he had to struggle to control the ferocious waves with strength in him, while still maintaining calmness in his heart. It was a challenge that tested patience and balance.

The third stage, "The Essence In Waves (Hadanagi).." is also unforgettable. The third source of power of the water element is "Essence In Waves." It represented a power hidden within the ordinary-looking water waves. Ninja must learn to look behind the surface and uncover the forces hidden within the water element.

He pondered about his efforts to uncover the hidden power in the water element, delving deeper into the meaning of each wave of water waving. All of these stages formed a strong foundation in his journey of mastery.

As he ponders, Ryu also contemplates meeting with Kagetora Kurosawa. Kagetora, the Village Chief of Hiokagakure, had provided valuable clues about the Water Core Spirit and the other elements. Kagetora who is nicknamed the ninja with forbidden knowledge is the heir of the Fire Core Spirit, which makes him have a very deep knowledge of the core elements and spirits.

"However, I still have to understand more" Ryu muttered himself. Although he had made significant progress, he felt that there was still a lot he needed to know and master. The power of the water element was a great source of strength, and he was determined to fully understand the potential contained within it.

As the night deepens, Ryu knows that he must return soon to rest. The challenging journey and training had made him tired, but his passion for learning and growing had never been extinguished.

In the silence of the dark night, he stood up and directed his steps towards his cottage, ready to face the next day with renewed vigor and determination. The ninja world still holds many mysteries, and Ryu is ready to face them with unwavering courage and determination.
