Chapter 5 The Crime Behind the Attack

After successfully rescuing Hiokagakure Village and restoring control of the fire element, Ryu and his friends return to Mizugakure Village to talk to Village Chief Mizuki about the mysterious group that has attacked the ninja villages.

Village Chief Mizuki greeted them warmly and told them to sit down at his residence. They sat around the table, ready to listen to the story of the village chief.

Mizuki looked serious as she began her story. "You have faced an evil group of ninjas who attacked our villages. We don't yet know the name or identity of the group, but we are convinced that they are a great threat to the peace of the ninja world."

Ryu asked, "Does anyone know who the leader of the group is?"

Mizuki shook her head. "Unfortunately, no. The leader of this group was very shrewd in keeping their identity secret. We call them 'Shadow Clan' because they always operate in the shadows and are hard to trace."

Aiko asked, "Why did they attack the ninja elements? What was the motive behind their attack?"

Mizuki replied, "We are still figuring out the real motive, but we are convinced that they want to master the elements of nature for their own personal gain or power. We need to uncover their plans and stop them before it's too late."

Takeshi voiced doubt, "How could such a group be such a big threat? Do they have great support or strength?"

Mizuki explained, "We are convinced that they have the support of other evil ninja groups and may be cooperating with powerful dark forces. They have managed to create chaos in the ninja world by breaking up the divided clans."

Yumi added, "We must reunite the clans and uncover the conspiracy involving the Shadow Clan. How can we continue this mission?"

Mizuki smiled and replied, "We have gathered information about the location of the villages that have been attacked. We also have a clue that leads to other villages that may be next targets. You must continue your journey to save the divided clans and unravel the mystery behind the attacks on ninja elements."

Ryu said, "We are ready to continue this mission. We're gonna fight to save the ninja world."

Mizuki smiled and felt proud of their courage. "We believe in you, and we will give you the support we can. Congratulations, Ryu, Aiko, Takeshi, Yumi, and Kenji."

After speaking with Village Chief Mizuki, Ryu and his friends return to their residence to plan their next trip. They know that they must immediately continue their mission and save the ninja world from an increasingly greater threat.

On that night, Village Chief Mizuki decides to tell them about the story of the ninja warfare that had taken place centuries ago, resulting in the breakup of the nine element clan.

Mizuki sits before them and begins her story, "There was peace in the ninja world, and the nine element clans coexist with harmony. Each clan controls a different element of nature and keeps the balance of the ninja world."

"However, at some point, conflict broke out between the clans. Opposition to resources and power threatens the peace they have maintained for so long. War is inevitable."

Mizuki continued, "The ninja wars lasted for many years, resulting in great damage and suffering in the ninja world. The water clan fought with the fire clan, the land clan against the wood clan, and each clan maintained its element with strength and determination."

"As a result, the clans that were originally united became divided. They formed their own villages and separated themselves from others. The ninja world is no longer in balance, and the elements of nature are becoming increasingly unstable."

Takeshi asked, "Does anyone know what triggered the war?"

Mizuki replied, "Unfortunately, the exact cause of the war remains a mystery. However, many believe that there are dark forces at play in manipulating the clans and encouraging them to contradict each other. The Shadow Clan was probably one of the groups involved in the conspiracy."

Ryu said, "We must find a way to unite the divided clans and restore the balance of the ninja world. This is our mission."

Mizuki felt proud of their determination. "We will give you the support we can. May you succeed in unraveling this mystery and bringing peace back to the world of ninjas."

After listening to the story from Village Chief Mizuki, Ryu and his friends felt increasingly confident about their mission. They know that they will face many obstacles and dangers on their journey, but they also know that they are the hopes of the ninja world.

Mizuki who was sitting in front of them said, "You guys have proven yourself. However, in order to deal with the growing threat, you need to become stronger."

Ryu asked, "How can we become stronger? We want to learn new techniques and develop our abilities."

Mizuki explained her plan, "We have decided to send you to some legendary teachers according to the elements you control. Each of you will go to a teacher who is skilled in the element and learn from it. This will help you to master your elements better."

Aiko asked, "Do we have to go alone?"

Mizuki replied, "Yes, you will go separately so that you can get more personal training. Every legendary teacher will help you develop special techniques according to your element."

Takeshi said, "We are ready to go and learn from the teachers. Who are those teachers?"

Mizuki gave them a list of the teachers they would meet:

Fire Element Master: They are going to the Desert of Fire, where Master Hinote is waiting for them. The desert is a hot, dry place, reflecting the fire element. Master Hinote is a master at controlling fire and has the ability to produce fire from earth and stone.

Earth Element Master: They will look for the Daichi Master who lives in the powerful mountains. Daichi Master is an expert in controlling the elements of the land and has the ability to turn the surrounding land into powerful heavy weapons.

Air Element Master: They will go to the Peak of Wind, the place where Master Kaze is waiting for them. The peak is located on a high mountain peak, and Master Kaze is a master at controlling the air element and has the ability to move at lightning speed in the sky.

Wood Element Master: They will visit the Everlasting Forest, home to Master Mori. Mori's teacher is an expert in controlling wood elements and can manipulate plants to protect themselves and permeate the forces of nature.

Iron Element Master: They will go into a deep and dark cave to meet Master Tetsu. Master Tetsu is a master at controlling iron elements and can make sharp weapons out of iron stones easily.

Shadow Element Master: They will look for Master Yami, who lives in a village hidden underground. Master Yami is an expert in controlling shadow elements and has the ability to sneak inside the darkness and disappear without leaving a trace.

Lightning Element Master: They will go into the powerful lightning valley to meet Master Raiden. Master Raiden is a master at controlling the element of lightning and can create deadly lightning.

Ice Element Master: They will look for Master Yuki who lives in the plains that are always covered in ice and snow. Master Yuki is an expert in controlling the ice element and can create freezing blizzards.

Mizuki added, "Each teacher will help you to develop your abilities in your element. They will also teach you specific techniques that will help you in battle. You will go to these teachers and learn from them for a few weeks."

Yumi asked, "How can we find these teachers?"

Mizuki gave them a map and a clue about the location of the teachers. He also gave them the heirloom necklaces of their respective villages as an identifying mark.

Ryu said, "We'll leave soon. We will learn as much as possible and become stronger to unite the divided clans and unravel the mystery behind the attack on the ninja elements."

Mizuki smiled proudly. "We believe in you, and we know that you will succeed. Come back after you've learned from those teachers, and we'll plan your next move."

Ryu and his friends get ready to leave and begin their journey to each of the teachers. They feel excited and determined to learn as much as possible in order to become stronger. Their mission is to save the ninja world, and they will do whatever it takes to achieve it.
