Alejandro clasped tightly onto Scarlett's fingers, heading towards the special room where Caitlin was being cared for at the moment.

Alejandro's call stopped Mark Rufaro's long daydream. As if in disbelief seeing Scarlett beside Alejandro, came to the hospital where their mother was in the care at this time.

"Ale.. I'm glad to see you guys here" Mark said couldn't cover his happiness. As if getting the visit of a person who has been very much in waiting for his presence.

Scarlett didn't budge, she just fell silent. Alejandro tightened his grip to strengthen Scarlett.

"Scarlett knows everything, Mark" Alejandro said.

Mark looked at his breath.

"Thank you Scarlett you're ready to come to the hospital where our mother is being treated. I'm sure you'll be very happy to know you're near her" Mark said, staring gently at her sister's face, which had reddened and teary eyes.

Scarlett quickly turned her face to the left side of her shoulder. He avoided Mark seeing his cries.

"Darling, don't you want to see mom any closer?" Alejandro told Scarlett.

"Scarlett if you want to see right through that door. If you want to see from a distance through the glass over there" point Mark explained to his sister.

Scarlett nodded her head slowly. Moments later, the nurse and the doctor treating Caitlin rush into the room. Mark's face stiffened. When a nurse rushed into the room with a serious face, Mark intercepted her.

"What happened ?"

"Patient, having a heart attack sir. The doctor is currently trying to deal with the state of the patient" replied the nurse.

The nurse excused me from Mark's presence.

"Oh my God.stay the mother" said Mark as he rubbed his face. He leaned his back against the wall that became the barrier between him and Caitlin.

Scarlett walked over to the glass connecting the room where Caitlin was being treated. While Alejandro was talking to someone over a cellular connection. Scarlett was stunned, she silently watched from outside the panic of the nurses who helped the doctor save Caitlin.

Caitlin's weakly drooping body was suddenly snapped using a pacemaker placed around her chest.

Scarlett's tears rolled down her cheeks. His heart could not bear to see Caitlin's condition like that. Although there was still residual hatred lodged in his soul but Scarlett still did not want if bad things happened to Caitlin.

Scarlett's mouth often says hate, but not with her heart. Scarlett had spent some time with Caitlin at Merciel's estate. He loved the woman so much that Scarlett knew they had no blood relation at all. Turns out... Caitlin was the woman who gave birth to her.

"Please hold on" said Scarlett sobbing as she placed her hand on the connecting glass between the mother and the child.

The doctor shook his head several times. And the panicked faces from within were clearly visible before Scarlett's eyes.
