Next morning...

Scarlett woke up in Alejandro's arms. The morning sunlight shines on the earth.

Alejandro took a deep breath of his hand slowly tearing at the brown envelope he was holding from earlier.

Alejandro momentarily closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. And looking into the envelope were three letters written by his father's hand .

With Alejandro's focus read through sheet by sheet the letter. While reading the third sheet, Alejandro's countenance changed dramatically. His jaw hardened while his head he stared at the ceiling of the room. He rubbed his face with two hands.

"Alejandro, what's wrong" Scarlett asked quietly.

Alejandro looked at Scarlett and gave the paper in her hand. "Read it!", replied Alejandro.

Scarlett took the paper and read it. He seemed to be twitching his eyebrows.

"Alejandro, Mister Mathias and my father betrothed us ?"

"Yes Scarlett that's what I wrote", Alejandro replied.

My father had not been able to convey everything to me when I left this plantation, because at that time I was so angry with him.

While Alejandro was still nineteen, Scarlett was only seventeen.

"Alejandro.I love you too ", Scarlett replied softly barely audible.

"When we get married I always get carried away with you. I've been in love with you since our marriage Ale even I always wished for my marriage to you to be forever Alejandro", Scarlett's voice sounded quivering.

Alejandro kisses Scarlett's soft lips, while Scarlett hugs her athletic body.

"Ahh Scarlett, the first time I saw you your face was always on my mind. But there's always a feeling in my heart because you're married to my father. Until some time before I read this letter ", Alejandro whispered.

"I want the marriage we built to be truly Scarlett, I want to spend my time with you having a child of yours and we age together" Alejandro said, rubbing Scarlett's face gently.

Clear circles dripped from Scarlett's eye patch, she was so grateful to have a husband like Alejandro who wanted her wholeheartedly. The heavy life that Scarlett experienced as a child until adolescence so make it overwhelmed with feelings of fear. But since he lived on the Chalons plantation he felt comfort. Mr. Mathias becomes Damian's surrogate father protecting and guarding her.
