DELAYING A TRIP TO LONDON

It was late in the afternoon, by dusk, the sky had turned a very beautiful orange color.

Scarlett nodded her head slowly "yes Ale", he said slowly.

"Let's go" Alejandro sat on the black luxury sofa in his office .

Scarlett followed Alejandro sitting beside her.

"My people got the man who burned the Chalons border, that man was one of the farm workers. Named Colin, he admitted he was forced to do so because his son and wife were under the threat of Antoine Conte", Alejandro said with a hardened face restraining his emotions.

Scarlett's face turned deathly pale hearing the evil man's name .

"This morning I will meet the old man, and will make calculations to him directly" Alejandro said firmly.

"Ale, please let your men meet with Mr. Antoine. I don't want anything to happen to you, that man is so mean and cruel Ale", Scarlett replied in a voice trembling softly in fear.

"You take it easy, I'm not going to happen anything to me. I will go with Dante and my men" Alejandro replied as he gently rubbed Scarlett's paled face.

"Scarlett, for a while I decided to postpone our trip to London. The situation on the Chalons farm is not conducive, it's true that you said I would be worried here if I didn't exist" Alejandro said.

Scarlett nodded her head, "Yes Ale", she replied softly as she stared at Alejandro's two bright brown neutrals.

"Alejandro returned the gaze gently, he rubbed Scarlett's face. I'll rearrange our trip after the problem here is resolved".

Alejandro hugged Scarlett's unmoved body, knowing Scarlett was terrified to hear Antoine Conte's name.

"You have to trust me, I will always protect you Scarlett" Alejandro whispered softly.

"Thank you, Alejandro" Scarlett replied with teary eyes.
