A simple and harmonious family, that was what Flroes dreamed of when he said the sacred promise in front of Philip. She just wants to be the perfect woman as a wife and housewife.
“I'll take Elisa to school.” Flores said as she watched Philip come out of the bathroom.
While glancing at Flores, Philip gave an answer. “I usually do. Why suddenly so you?”
“Do you not believe because yesterday I lost the news?” Philip let out a crisp laugh, hoping that his joke would not anger Flores.
Flores took his work coat, then stood in front of the mirror and tidied up his appearance.
“You're hurt.” Flores answered as he was. “Entai calamity what happened yesterday, but you better rest today, Honey.”
Philip put the towel on the table. He walked up to Flores and hugged her from behind. “You're mad at me because I don't want to explain what happened yesterday?”
Flores smiled from the corner of his lips, looking at the reflection of Philip's handsome face from the mirror in front of him. “You fell down the stairs in the workshop and hit the motor wreckage.”
“I'll believe it.” Flores let go of Philip's embrace and turned around. She was facing her husband's body. “Although it doesn't make sense, I'll believe it.”
Flores doesn't understand himself. She was always curious about her husband, no matter what happened to Philip, she was always curious. However, Flores was reluctant to press. He didn't want to argue with Philip just because of his curiosity. As long as Philip was still standing in front of him and looking at him lovingly, Flores would accept his lie.
“You should have breakfast.” Flores pushed Philip's body away from him. He turned back to Philip. “Go to the dining room, Elisa must have been waiting for you.”
“You?” Philip grabbed Flores' body again. “Come breakfast together.”
Flores shook his head. “I will follow, there are still some documents I have to prepare.”
Philip looked at the corner of the room. He tidied up Flores' desk last night. Not a strange thing. Flores is too busy. Sometimes you don't have time to clean and tidy your own desk.
If Philip woke up in the middle of the night and saw Flores asleep at his desk, he would carry her, place her on the bed and blanket her. Philip also tidied up Flores' desk. So no wonder Flores lost something, so Philip easily found it. He's neater than his wife.
“I prepared it, Honey. You can ...”
“There are new documents you don't know.” Flores. He smiled kindly. “Go, I'll catch up.”
Philip gave up without any more debate. His head nodded with certainty. “Do not long-long.”
The man stepped up, about to get out of the room. Flores called Philip. “Honey?”
Philip's looking. The two were silent while exchanging looks.
“About me and Marc ..”
“You're cooking chicken soup again, aren't you?” Philip changed the subject.
“Solve your work here and have a quick breakfast. Later the soup is cold.” He closed the sentence with a wry smile. “Elisa is waiting.”
“I don't know if Marc will pick up Elisa.” Flores remains stubborn. He felt that he needed to say this to Philip.
Philip remained silent.
“I called mommy because you didn't answer my phone.” Flores added again. “I didn't imagine that our son would be with that man.”
Flores let out a long sigh. He was not wrong, but he felt guilty. He's not mistaken, but Flores keeps getting distracted all night over yesterday's incident.
“I understand,” Philip replied casually. “I'm waiting for you at the dinner table, Flo.”
Flores was about to reply, but Philip waltzed away just like that.
“Understanding what?” flores Mummings. “Obviously you're jealous.”
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Fifteen minutes passed, Flores caught up with Philip and Elisha. The view she loved, Elisha loved her father. To be honest, sometimes Flores was jealous because Elisha was closer to Philip. Elisha was never awkward, always acting spoiled and super chatty. However, when she was with him, Elisha was much quieter and kept his distance.
“You've finished your breakfast?” ask Flores while joking. He sat down next to Elisha after pulling the chair.
Elisha smiled sweetly. “Daddy spent two bowls of soup this morning!” He laughed while accusing Philip, obviously Elisha had done it.
Philip loved this kind of atmosphere. He forgets for a moment who he is, the degree of Flores, or the future of Elisha which is not guaranteed because of its shortcomings.
“Mom!” Elisha interrupted again. “I've told you a lot with daddy!”
Flores glanced at Philip who occasionally smiled sweetly, then continued his breakfast.
“Stories about what?” ask Flores. “About the reason you got into a fight with your friend?” Flores chuckles.
Elisha shook his head. “Uncle Marc brought me to play in the rides play.”
Flores instantly changed the look on his face. He glanced at Philip who was impressed indifferently with Elisha's sentence.
“Uncle Marc it's amazing!” Elisha told a story while showing excessive excitement.
“He bought me a lot of ice cream, took me for a walk in a big mall, and he even made me watch dolphins in a giant aquarium.”
Flores was unable to keep up with her daughter's happiness. He could only faintly smile, forcing himself to occasionally stare at the busy Philip with his breakfast.
“I've never been there before,” added Elisa again.
Elisha was looking at Philip. “Daddy always takes me to the playground in front of his workshop. For a long time it was boring,” said Elisha softly.
“Elisa?” Flores did not expect her daughter would say that. “Don't say so.”
“I'm serious.” Elisha refutes Flores. “That was my first experience of walking around in a spacious bathroom!” Elisha showed with his hand. “I can play as much!”
Flores stews spit. “We will go there again later.”
“Uncle Marc promised me would take me there again.” Elisha. That's not what Flroes meant.
Elisa is innocent. She was just a little girl who knew nothing about the hierarchy and self-esteem of a man. Flores is always busy with her work. While Philip never want to receive money from Flores and instead gave money to his workshop on Flores as a monthly fee—that is the responsibility of a man on his woman.
“Uncle Marc will pick me up again this weekend, Mom.” Elise added again. “She also invited Mommy to join.”
Elisha pleaded with a twinkle of shady eyes. “Mommy want to come with us?”
“Elisa ..” Flores is a little upset. “We will go with daddy if you ...”
“But I promised Uncle Marc.” Elisha frowned. “He also promised to take me somewhere else. He said it was bigger and I had never been taken there with daddy ..”
“Elisa!” Flores finally snapped.
Philip stopped his breakfast when surprised to hear the sound of Flores yelling at his daughter. He stared at the look on Flores's upset face.
“Honey?” murmured Philip.
Philip looked at his daughter's shrill face, his happiness had faded when Flores snapped at him.
“Why snarl Elisa?” ask Philip.
On the other hand, Flores was indifferent. He turned his face away, reluctant to make eye contact with Philip.
Flores sighed. “I'm in the kitchen for a while.” Without waiting for approval, Flores just went and left.
“Dad, did I make a mistake?” Elisha looked at Philip with fear. “Mommy is only angry when I speak lies, profanity, and screaming.”
Philip approached his daughter. He rubbed Elisha's head gently. “Mommy is thinking a lot, so she is a little sensitive.”
“Elisa can finish her breakfast, then daddy will deliver Elisa to school, hum?” Philip persuaded gently.
Elisha nodded. “Good, Dad.”
“Daddy follow mommy first.”
Next.
