"Who? Why are you back?" ask Aldo wonder.
Kiandra's forehead wrinkled. "Do I have to report to you if I want to go home?" he asked back.
"Of course not, Chief." Aldo who was familiar with the rigidity of Kiandra sighed. "Only, I can go straight to the office, and there's no need to stop by to feed Snow" he put a black plastic bag on the table. "Yesterday the food was a little, so I took the initiative to buy it." he explained.
Kiandra only saw the plastic wrap containing the feed without saying anything.
"In that case, I say goodbye to the Chief." said Aldo awkwardly because it did not get a response.
"How was the party yesterday?" suddenly Kiandra wanted to know
Aldo's steps stopped immediately, then returned to face Kiandra. "Fun." answered lightly. "The higher-ups of Golden Hope, including Mr. Rico, regret your absence. But, they are fully grateful to you who have contributed greatly to their new company for a lifetime of corn." he said. "Pak Rico also introduced me to some Malaysian businessmen. Maybe... If you don't mind, we can schedule lunch to establish a relationship?" he offers carefully
However, Kiandra who usually refused or accepted in a straightforward and definite tone, now only pensive with a deep frown.
I didn't say anything wrong, did I?
inner Aldo confused.
"Eemmm.. That was earlier. if you remember Chief. Otherwise, yes, it's okay." he grimaced.
Kiandra's still tight-lipped. But, this time his gaze turned sharp as he looked at her.
"A, what's up, Chief?" Aldo began to worry about something that Kiandra did not know.
Don't tell me he already knows.
aldo's mind started to calm down.
However, his Chief's tense expression was slowly loosening. "... Rico was. "it hesitated to continue.
"What Chief?" Aldo surprised. "Sir Rico?" he ensures.
Kiandra improved her sitting position, then looked back at her trusted Personal Assistant. "Rico used to say that Anna looked like the Princess of her country, right?" he asked as if it was something unusual.
Aldo's eyes were round. But, then spontaneously he clapped both palms. "Oh! Mr Rico's joke, Chief?" guess it while laughing. "Yes, I remember!" continued. "Mr Princess of Kelantan is indeed similar." Aldo's sentence was interrupted, when he saw Anna who suddenly appeared wearing an oversized Kiandra shirt and wet hair was unraveled.
Anna, who was ready to vent emotions, immediately gasped at the presence of others in the apartment.
While Kiandra, he was glued while gulping, looking at Anna's appearance which for him looks much sexier with her plain face and shirt.
The embarrassed Anna, immediately entered back into the room. While Aldo, he looks clumsy with his mind that leads to adult things.
"a, uh.. Chief." finally he can say something. "It seems. I went straight to the office just to hold the morning meeting." he loosened his tie which was actually neat and fitting.
"Yes, handle all the meetings this morning." Kiandra said as she continued to look at Anna's distant back. "Perhaps after dinner, I'll just get to the office." he continued, turning to Aldo.
"Well, Chief." the man nodded, glancing for a moment in the direction where Anna disappeared, then opened the door and left.
Outside, Aldo's amiable expression instantly turned serious. He walked straight through the hallway of the twenty-story luxury apartment, then straight to the elevator and down to the basement.
Arriving in the basement used as a parking area, Aldo headed to his car while turning on the sensor key. As soon as he sat in the car, he turned on the engine and took the phone from behind his suit.
He shifted the screen of the smart phone, then observed the object that turned out to be connected to the CCTV camera.
"Maybe if I don't look at it, I won't believe it." Aldo said as he looked at the footage of Kiandra and Anna.
Suddenly the phone screen turned into a photo of a firearm with the caption, My future is calling...
Aldo's raut stiffened immediately. But, in the pick up too the phone.
"Hello, Vic?" said cheerfully.
However, the caller did not immediately make a sound.
"Halooww.." Aldo's tone is funny.
But it was not the answer that was heard, but Victoria herself who appeared within a few meters of her parked car.
Aldo was stunned to see Victoria coming from behind the dark glass of his car.
"Stop."
"Jeez Vic, if you're here, why don't we just talk?" Aldo still acted as if nothing had happened.
Victoria stared at the Mazda CX-5 Snowflake White Pearl Mica in Aldo's car without a blink, while her ears still heard the man pull out his usual jokes and seduction.
"You know Vic, our Chief has a girlfriend. We when? You can't let me moss like this." Aldo babbling.
Victoria could have been tough, and put on a minimal face expression. But, his mind could not lie, and the look in his eyes showed all that pain.
"The Great Lord has warned" Victoria said firmly.
Aldo was silent.
They looked at each other for long distances and were blocked by Aldo's dark windshield. The quiet state of the basement, adds a tense impression between the two.
"Stop now what you've planned."
Aldo heard Victoria threatening from the speakerphone.
"Chief is my top priority and my life." he continued.
Aldo's still not flinching.
"If what you say about us is true, then stop, and leave Chief without hurting him."
Maybe Victoria can't see Aldo because it's covered in dark glass. But Aldo could clearly see Victoria's reddened countenance and her two teary eyes.
"Vice..." Aldo chuckled after just being quiet. "After all these years, you finally want to talk long and wide using the language I understand." she brushed her hair back.
Victoria didn't respond.
Aldo smiled as he looked at the tall woman, with the tight black leather shirt that was his trademark. "Ich liebe dich, Vic" he said, then turned off the phone and started running his white SUV.
Everyone has a choice, Vic. But, my choice was already taken away by that person.
Aldo said inwardly as he looked at the woman he loved from the rearview mirror.
.
Victoria lives alone in the basement. He looked down at his dead cell phone.
"You're the Chief's bodyguard?"
He remembered his first meeting with the man.
"I'm not sure you can protect the Chief with your twig-like arms."
He ignited Aldo's scorn that had upset him.
"Vic, being the mother of my children, huh?"
Gombalan Receh Aldo who made him curious, and secretly began to learn Indonesian.
"Come Vic... You know what, I don't understand your language..?"
look weld Aldo who can melt his frozen heart.
"Can!"
Then exclaimed the man's delight, when he managed to kiss his lips.
"Acci."
How to call, how to smile.
Victoria was more downcast with her tears that she could not bear.
"The real name is Ezekiel Ardiansyah. His entire family died in an accident. He was raised by a couple of helpers and drivers who used to serve his family, and acknowledged them as a biological child."
Victoria had to swallow that harsh reality.
