Anna slows down, as she sees Dave from a distance. The old man was seen talking to Kiandra. She held onto her chest that was suddenly pounding, whenever she saw the husband of the woman who told her to call Big Brother.
I don't have gerontophilia, do I?
inner Anna was worried.
Suddenly Dave realizes his presence, making Anna's heart instantly want to jump, as their eyes clash.
Anna began to stiffen, as the man walked towards her, then smiled as soon as they passed by. He could only duck down, without daring to return the smile he so rarely saw.
Until Dave walked past her, Anna could still feel a strange sensation leading to a feeling of longing that felt dusty in the chest cavity.
Why does it feel sad...?
anna thought confused.
He turned to Dave who only had his back in the distance, then let out a long sigh and turned around.
However, he was shocked by Kiandra who was already standing in plain sight.
"God...! Why you.." Anna rubbed her chest to relax.
"Why?" cut off the Kiandra while slightly bending over so that their faces are aligned. "Shock, huh?" he menringai.
"A, what?" Anna blinked many times due to the tension.
Kiandra snorted while upholding her back. "You look at Dave like releasing a lover into the battlefield" he said.
Anna rounded both eyes. "Ke, why do you think that?" he tried to deny.
Kiandra threw away her face, and walked first.
"Master, uh! It's getting..." Anna has not been able to name directly. However, he continued to chase the man who looked angry.
Until they reached the gazebo and sat down together, Kiandra did not want to see, what else to talk to her.
Anna feels bad. He looked at the man next to him while tightening the knit cardingan. "Why are you so angry?" he ventured to open the conversation.
Kiandra immediately turned her head towards him with both eyebrows almost fused together.
Anna gulped. Honestly, he is afraid. But he doesn't want any misunderstanding. "We came here just to keep quiet?" tanyanya pretended to be plain.
Kiandra snorted while folding both hands to the chest. "You, with me, never got like that. But, what happened to Dave your eyes didn't blink?"
Both of Anna's eyes blinked.
"Look!" show Kiandra's upset. "Very different from your expression when you saw Dave earlier, with when you see me now."
She jealous?
guess Anna in my heart.
"What's? Why even glare like that?" kiandra's face flushed.
Anna did not budge, and only looked at her with a rustling heart, when she realized the man's jealousy.
"..I'm sorry." that word came out of his mouth first.
Kiandra grew irritated, because that was not what she expected. He threw away his face, and chose to look straight at the calm watery artificial lake.
The morning breeze blew, making the towering spruce trees, as well as growing lined around the perimeter wall with the outside world swinging gently.
The sky that was still gray, slowly began to show its beautiful blue, along with its white clouds that moved slowly.
Wild birds fly in groups, and some roost, or make nests in evergreen trees that are home to them.
There is no sound of human fanfare, and there are only hymns from small, reassuring animals. Indeed, nothing can beat the peace of a beautiful morning like this.
.
"Why did I feel close to Mr. Dave" Anna said.
Immediately Kiandra looked towards him. "Near?" he repeats like a person who has a hearing impairment.
Anna nodded while looking at the two eyes of the man. "I don't know why I feel that way. This feeling came up all of a sudden, as me and Mr. Dave sat together."
This time Kiandra's forehead creased with a questioning look.
"I, this isn't what you thought." Anna quickly clarified. "Mr Dave was worried about you, and then.eemmm.he came to me, and we talked about you.." Anna's voice weakened in the last word.
You meddler!
inner Kiandra's upset.
"Thanks to him, I've come to know about you." Anna soon chimed in, knowing Kiandra was thinking negatively about her sister-in-law.
"Know what? Don't you know about me?" kiandra said.
I know I'm jealous. But instead, they defend other men.
Anna was wrong. He wanted to explain in more detail. But it was already gamang first, because Kiandra's response was not good.
Because of Dave, I became rude to him again.
thought Kiandra while sighing.
He was a little sorry, because since the drunken incident had promised to be more patient.
"Po, anyway.I have no feelings of love, or that lead to such things." Anna tells.
Kiandra just glanced.
"So, you don't have to be jealous or angry." continued the woman while looking at Kiandra sincerely.
For a moment the man was stunned. Then looked away with a red face.
Why does she look so beautiful?
he pressed his chest that suddenly rumbled.
Anna, who saw Kiandra's response, thought the man was still in disbelief. "Right, me and Mr. Dave..."
"It's over!" Kiandra immediately turned back.
Anna almost pried in shock.
"Don't talk or mention any other men's names when I'm with you!" he rules.
"E, uh..? I, yes." spontaneously Anna replied.
Kiandra snorted with her forehead still wrinkled.
Draining energy once talking to women.
he complained in his heart.
They went back into silence without anyone talking. And all that was heard was the friction of the brooms of the workers cleaning the yard, and the squeaks of wild birds that occasionally fly swooping down near the gazebo.
Anna, who did not know what to do or say anymore, chose to duck to see the green grass under her feet.
.
"Tell me why you left your country" Kiandra said moments later.
Anna's heart instantly beat faster. He squeezed the knitting cardingan strong, to muffle his hands that suddenly had been trembling.
The situation that was dim, now really has been bright, although the sun has not yet raised its beam bias.
Honestly Anna is afraid if she is mentioned about the past. But, as he recalled everything that had happened in the house, he was soon able to steady his heart.
"... I. committed an unforgivable mistake." he started the story.
Kiandra justifies the location of the seat to be tilted facing him, while leaning back to the gazebo pole made of teak wood.
"My parents were so embarrassed that they chose to abdicate. Even so, the relatives still scorn, because I am the culprit who caused the treasure jewel of the Kelantan sultanate to disappear until now." he bowed sadly.
"Heirloom jewel?" Kiandra.
Anna raised her face and looked at him. "The gemstone belonging to His Majesty Sultan Iskandar which he obtained when he married Queen Suhita from the work of Majapahit in the past." he told.
The Kiandra's mind immediately turned around. Understandably, he is weakest about history.
"During the reign of Sultan Ibrahim, the gemstone was pinned on the crown of the King as a decoration, then taken a little to be made a ring for Sultanah Zainab as a symbol of the love of the King for his Queen. Then it became a tradition, where the ring belonged to the next Queens. Including my mother, the last person to wear the ring before it goes missing." Anna lowered her eyes again.
"You got rid of something as important as that?" Kiandra doesn't believe it.
Anna was biting her lower lip while playing hand fingers on her lap. "Not only are the family's heritage jewels." Anna's voice sounded weak. "But the family-owned company is also lost because of me..."
Kiandra fell silent with a serious expression.
"If you want to know, where I came from, I am just a disgrace. I just want to die. But, I was too cowardly to end my worthless life." Anna tried hard not to cry, even though her shoulders were trembling and her eyes were already teary.
He turned towards Kiandra who was still staring. "More than that... I am no longer valuable. It is not worth it to be with your loved one, and so is..."
Anna's words came to a halt, as Kiandra covered her mouth with a palm. "Why do you always humble yourself?" his question with both eyebrows almost fused together. "I like you! I even want to go silly to get your attention. I'm still confused about how to propose to you, but you say disgrace and worthless instead? Do you think my taste is that bad?" Kiandra's upset not playing.
Anna's eyes instantly widened.
"What is the price of the jewel? What kind of company belongs to your family that went missing? You just tell me, and I can finish with a single finger snap. Don't think, die! Die up! It's not gonna be over." He took off his stock. "Whoever you are, you left a burden for your family that is still alive!" it adds with high intonation pressing.
Anna's countenance was murky, then slowly her tears flowed down her cheeks.
Damnit.. She was crying.
Kiandra tepuk.
