...💕💕💕💕💕...

After Dita and Rendra's last meeting the other day, they never met again. In addition to busy lectures, work on assignments and practicums, Rendra is also busy being a committee of seminar organizers on his campus.

As Minister of Student Affairs of BEM KM, Rendra has several work programs that he has made, and one of his programs is to organize national seminars in order to commemorate Youth Oath Day which falls on October 28. The national seminar held this time was titled “The Role and Innovation of Youth in Creative Economy Development”.

Youth is the key to the successful application of the creative economy because it is able to think outside the box or out of the box so as to develop something more valuable. With limited employment, it is expected that young people are able to create a creation that can provide welfare for themselves and society. For this reason, the title was taken to further motivate young people to be more creative and willing to entrepreneurship.

Rendra, of course, must find competent speakers and also practitioners in their fields so that they can share their experiences during the seminar later. One of the speakers who will be invited later is Syailendra Darmastawa.

Syailendra Darmastawa, who does not know him, a young figure from outside Java who is successful as a young entrepreneur and currently works as a lecturer, even became the Chair of the Study Program (Caprodi) of Industrial Engineering UGM. He started doing business from High School even though he was still small-scale. In addition, he is also active as a taekwondo athlete who often won various taekwondo competitions in Kalimantan. Even so he is an outstanding student proven to have successfully entered IT UGM through the path of PBUB (Superior Achieved Seed Search).

He is active in various organizations on campus, often as a coordinator or chairman in various campus activities, had become chairman of UKM Taekwondo and Pjs Chairman of the Senate of KM UGM. Graduated with cumlaude predicate and former Mapres 2 years in a row, what an incredible achievement right. When becoming a student this is the starting point of starting a business that is still running. He founded his own company called PT. ManjoMaju who oversees several business fields such as property, automotive (selling a second car, workshop, car rental), event organizer, cafe, and other start-ups. Although he is currently not directly involved in his company, but still as President Commissioner and largest shareholder in ManjoMaju.

He also founded the Young Entrepreneur Club (YEC) community of young entrepreneurs who actively develop students' business skills through seminars, workshops and more until they can have their own business. YEC also has branches outside the city.

Currently he is developing Rumah Bambu Indonesia Gemilang. He built a futuristic bamboo house as a means for children around his house to have a useful activity while facilitating students to plunge directly into the community as a guide and companion of children. In addition to the library, there are also opened taekwondo classes, tutoring and learning to read and memorize the Qur’an without any fees. He always has an idea to be able to spread the benefits for others, really a very inspiring figure and suitable as a role model for young people who want to entrepreneurship.

After searching for information on Pak Rendra's teaching schedule (nickname Syailendra Darmastawa), he and Satria, a fellow organizer, went to see Mr. Rendra to give an invitation and asked him as a speaker at the seminar later.

Rendra knocked twice on the door of the room with a sign written by the Chair of the S1 Study Program of Industrial Engineering after previously making sure Mr. Rendra was inside.

“Include,” a voice sounded from behind the door.

Rendra then grabbed the doorknob and turned it around. “Assalamu’alaikum, good afternoon, Mr.” Apply when the door is open.

“Wa’alaikumsalam, let's please come in. Sit down first, I finish this for a minute.” With a friendly smile, Mr. Rendra greeted them. He was seen checking on his student duties when they arrived.

“Thank you, Sir.” Rendra and Satria then sat in the chair in front of Mr. Rendra's desk.

Shortly thereafter, after finishing his work Mr. Rendra began to focus on them.

“Sorry yes have to wait, responsibility earlier correction task. Oya, what's up? I never seem to have seen you guys?” Ask Mr. Rendra kindly.

We are organizing a national seminar which will be held on October 28 to commemorate Youth Pledge Day. Intent on our arrival here to invite Mr. Rendra as a speaker at the seminar later.” Rendra replied while handing over the invitation letter to Mr. Rendra.

Mr. Rendra accepted the invitation, then opened it and read it.

“This is good the title, according to the present situation. Am I the speaker myself?”

“There is one more sir, Mas Yudi, he utilizes waste coffee into car perfume, accessories, and others.”

Mr. Rendra nodded his head repeatedly, “so really product innovation yes.”

“Iya Sir, later it is expected that attend the seminar can be more creative to innovate.”

“Then how technical? I mean, what time do I have to fill?”

“For his own seminar it was time from 08.00 to 12.30 wib. There will be an opening, singing Indonesia Raya songs and then a welcome from the rector or who represents, scheduled until 08:30. Then Mr. Rendra new Mas Yudi. Or Mr Rendra there is a request for his time?”

“For sure Sir, I am sure later will be many who ask.  Moreover, to practitioners they must be more enthusiastic to ask. Each speaker we give 2 hours for material and question and answer.” Rendra.

“Iya Sir, if there are materials for the presentation later we can take before the day H, so that later the show will be smoother and can be displayed directly so there is no time wasted.”

“Good, Sir. May we have her mobile number, sir?” Satria asked politely, then Mr. Rendra mentioned his mobile number. Satria and Rendra then keep it in their contact list.

“Good, I wait ya.” Mr. Rendra said with a friendly smile.

“Oya, was your name Narendra? Our call is the same yes means.” Seloroh Mr. Rendra.

“Iya Sir, but different fate.” Reply Rendra with a shy smile.

“Twenty-one years sir, civil engineering major.” Answer Rendra.

“Twenty-two years sir, management major.” Reply Satria.

“Nah kuwi stuffing enom (still young right), I used to also start a business at the age like you guys. My target back 30 years was to be financially free, money worked for me instead of me working for money. Alhamdulillah is achieved even if you have to fall awake first.” Bright Mr. Rendra.

“Are you two also interested in opening your own business?” Ask Mr. Rendra then to the two of them.

“Alhamdulillah, I have a small cafe Sir,” replied Rendra.

“If I haven't Sir,” reply Satria.

“Apik kuwi wes wani open a business (good it has dared to open a business), it's a small business is better and then process to be big. The important thing is never give up trying, certainly there will be many obstacles, now just how we face the obstacles. I like young people who dare to take risks.” Said Mr. Rendra.

“When you play to the bamboo house, who knows can get inspiration, give ideas or even help accompany children there.” Continue Mr. Rendra who never stops smiling every time he speaks. What a very friendly and pleasant person.

“Good sir, God willing we will be there. Since it is enough, please leave sir. Thank you for your welcome, and we apologize for interrupting your time at work.” Pamit Rendra is polite.

“Wah, I was in a hurry when I still wanted to talk. No bother, I love to meet creative young people like you. I look forward to your arrival at the bamboo house.”

Rendra and Satria nodded their heads, then the three of them shook hands.

Thank you to Sephinasera for allowing Bang Rendra to make a cameo. Here he is as Mr. Rendra, a lecturer who is full of authority, not Bang Rendra who is good at sepik sepik 😁. Hopefully it can be a little treat kangen in Bang Rendra.

For friends who do not know Syailendra Darmastawa (Bang/Pak Rendra), please cover the story of Kak Sephinasera entitled The Endless Story and Always Gonna be You. I guarantee it will be baper and difficult to move on 😄.
