After the honeymoon, Rendra and Dita were busy again with lecture activities. They take the Even Semester Final Exam. As usual when their exam time is the same, they will go to campus together. If Rendra scheduled his exam at noon, and Dita in the morning, he would take Dita to campus. But if Rendra's exam schedule morning and Dita afternoon, then Dita will ride ojol to campus.
After the Semester Final Examination, they had a month off from college. During the holidays, they spend more time in cafes, sometimes also staying at Pak Wijaya's house. I started learning how to make coffee. He also asked Rendra to create a new design cafe that will combine the concept of bakery and cafe.
Because it is a college holiday, Rendra's cousin who lives in Jakarta there is a play to Jogja and stay at the house of Ibu Dewi. Olivia, her name, she's the same age as Dita.
Since coming to the Mother Goddess' house, Olivia has always been spoiled for Rendra. He always wanted to go wherever Rendra went. Although Rendra sometimes did not respond to the behavior of his cousin, but it seems Olivia never gave up.
Initially Dita did not bother about it, but for a long time she became sultry with Olivia's spoiled attitude. Several times even Mother Goddess had reprimanded Olivia who always wanted to be close to Rendra. Mother Goddess even apologized to Dita for feeling unwell. All this time he tried to refrain from venting emotions on Olivia and Rendra because he respected his in-laws.
Dita's frustration culminated when she saw Olivia lying on the bed. He who had just come down from drying clothes and entered the room was surprised to see Olivia's whereabouts in his room.
“Why can you be here?” Tanya Dita with a hostile face.
“I wait for Brother Rendra to take a shower,” replied Olivia without guilt. With his indifference he remained lying down while playing his game.
“You can wait outside.”
“I used to wait for Kak Rendra to take a shower while lying here.”
“That was it, now Mas Rendra already has a wife. You should no longer do as you please. Let alone entering our room.”
Olivia started to pry. He got up from his position then sat on the bed.
“You don't get pretentious to be Kak Rendra's wife. I knew Mr. Rendra earlier than you. Brother Rendra never forbade me from going into his room.”
“I don't care if you are more familiar and close to Mas Rendra. Now I ask you carefully, you come out of our room.” Dita tried to restrain herself.
“You evicted me?” Ask Olivia in a high tone.
“I asked you to come out well, not expel.”
“Same, the point is you don't want me in this room.”
Dita nodded her head.
“What is this storm?” Ask Rendra who just came out of the bathroom.
Dita heaved a sigh of relief because Rendra came out of the bathroom in full clothes not only wrapped in a towel around the waist.
“Kak Dita ngusir me from Kak's room, but I was just waiting for Kak Rendra to take a shower. I'm not doing anything.” Olivia Adu.
Rendra looked at Dita asking for an explanation, but Dita just stared at her flatly. Rendra still did not understand what happened, but seeing the look on Dita's face did not seem like something trivial.
“I'm now done showering. Oliv, you better get out.” Rendra said to Olivia.
Olivia looked annoyed, she stomped her feet. “Kak Rendra is not fun now.” He then walked out of the room with a pouting face.
Now only Rendra and Dita stay in the room. Rendra walked over to Dita.
“Honey, what's the matter exactly?” Rendra asked gently while stroking Dita's cheek.
“What Olivia used to sleep here?” She asked without answering her husband.
“Not often either, maybe two or three times. Why?” Rendra frowned.
“You slept in bed?” ask Dita again while squinting her eyes.
“No, as I recall he was waiting for me to draw. I'm sitting at the desk, she's on the bed. Wh why? You jealous huh, sweetheart?”
“Not a problem I'm jealous, but I don't like him getting into our room.”
“Later I will say the same Olivia let him not carelessly enter again here.” Rendra.
“Mas know not really if the cousin is not mahram, you are halal to marry.”
“Continue, what's the connection?” Rendra looked at Dita not understanding.
“You can't be alone in the room.”
“Yes Allah. We did nothing in the room, Darling.”
“But there is a third party, namely Satan. Either she teases Mas or Olivia.”
“Honey, don't think strangely. Me and Olivia are pure sisters, I already consider her my sister, like Nisa.” Rendra cupped Dita's face.
“But, does Olivia think Mas is like her sister?” dita asked while looking into Rendra's eyes.
“Mmmhhh .. yes possible. Surely he considers me his brother,” replied Rendra unsure.
“Mas was aware of no heck, from the beginning he came to the house trying to keep close to Mas. Looks like he doesn't think I exist either.”
“Darling, throw away your negative thoughts. Since childhood we have been close.”
“But I now have a wife. Already should be able to keep a distance with other women even though he is still a brother.”
“OK, from now on I will keep the same distance Olivia.” Rendra raised both hands.
“We're peaceful, yes.” Rendra smiled as she thrust her little finger, Dita nodded then hooked their little finger.
Rendra hugged Dita and kissed her head. “Honey, I love you so much. Only you can make my heart beat. So, never doubt me.”
“I believe in Mas, but I don't believe in Olivia.” Sahut Dita while tightening her embrace.
“Let's talk carefully with him, yes.” Rendra stroked Dita's head.
“Why removed, Honey? It was just replaced this morning.”
“I don't want to sleep on her bed scar Olivia.” Sahut Dita while continuing to take off the sheets.
“Not to overdo it like that either, Darling.”
“I'm not overreacting. Yes already if Mas I can not change the sheets, I sleep in Mas Adi.” Dita stopped her activities from removing the sheets.
“Kok so gini anyway, we were better.”
“Mas, which starts again. Mas, say I overdo it.”
“How not to overdo it. Time just to sleep Olivia just want to change the sheets anyway, darling.”
“What Mas does not realize, if Mas also often overdo it?”
“When?” Rendra.
“It used to be about Mas Reza.”
“Why take him? I don't like you talking about him let alone saying his name.” Rendra began to get angry.
“Kan Mas asked, I replied. My fault where?”
“You said his name. I told you never to mention his name again.”
“Nah, right. Is this attitude not excessive? More overdo who am I or Mas?”
Rendra ruffled her hair in annoyance. “Ya already, just change the sheets,” he said frustrated.
“Mas alone change, I've been lazy. I'm going to sleep in Mas Adi.” Dita wears a hijab and Adi's house keys.
“Anindita Kusuma, as your husband, I forbid you from leaving this room, let alone from this house.” Rendra Strictly.
Dita turned her body to face Rendra. “Sorry, Mom. I want to calm down. It looks like we have to introspect each other. Assalamu’alaikum.” Dita stepped towards the door then out of the room.
“Ma, I'm going to Mas Adi first. Assalamu’alaikum.” Pamit Dita to Mother Goddess who is watching TV in the middle room.
“Wa’alaikumsalam warahmatullah,” reply Mother Goddess by frowning. It seems that something has happened between Rendra and Dita, because Dita's face is not as usual.
While in the room, Rendra cursed several times after Dita out of the room. He pulled the sheets that Dita wanted to remove and threw them away carelessly. Then he sat on the bed while kneading his forehead. Trying to digest again what happened this afternoon, their first big fight.
Hc .. tok ....
“Ren, can mama come in?” The voice of the Mother Goddess spread her daydream.
“Log in, Ma.” Rendra without moving from his position.
Mother Goddess opened the door to Rendra's room and went inside. He was surprised to see the sheets lying originally on the floor. It seems like there really is something going on with her son and daughter-in-law. He picked up the sheets and approached Rendra.
“We were saying goodbye to next door.” The Mother Goddess sat next to Rendra.
“Iya, Mother. He wants to calm down.” Sahut Rendra slowly.
"What's wrong? Can you tell what's going on?" Ask the Goddess Mother gently.
"We are angry that Olivia fell asleep here" replied Rendra.
Mother Goddess gasped, she had not expected this kind of incident. "Keep, are you defending Olivia?"
"No, Ma. Of course I trust Dita more. We've been better, keep fighting again because of the sheets." Rendra lowered her head.
"Can't you?"
Rendra then told her mother everything.
"Mama understands what Dita feels. Mama had repeatedly reprimanded Olivia but she kept ngeyel. If you knew she was going to come in here, you would have banned her. I've guessed something like this sooner or later must happen."
"We've been patient enough with Olivia's attitude, Ren. My mother was not happy with him. Mama's gonna talk to Aunt Vina to get Olivia home. Mama doesn't want you and Dita to fight because of her." Mother Goddess grasped Rendra's hand.
"Let's talk to Olivia. After that you follow Dita. Quickly solve your problems. Do not hold on to anger while sleeping. And, maybe you should stay there until Olivia gets home." Advice from Mother Goddess.
"Yes, Ma. Thanks, Ma." Rendra kissed his mother's hand.
"That's a pity for Dita, so you must succeed in persuading her."
"So Mama loves Dita more than Rendra?"
"Mama loves you both." Mother Goddess revealed her smile.
"I love Mama too. Thank you Ma for everything." Rendra hugged her mother tightly.
Mother Goddess stroked Rendra's back. "Here you go, get ready there in a moment, Azan Magrib. Later after Magrib we talk to Olivia."
"Yes, Ma." Rendra let go of her embrace.
"This bed sheet to wash?" Mother Goddess raised the bedsheet she had just picked up.
"Yes. Just put it in the dirty basket, Ma."
"okay." The Goddess Mother rose from her seat. He put the sheets into a dirty basket near the bathroom.
