Next day.
Holding his head still in pain, Sean tried to get up from the king-size soft bed. With teetering, Sean went to the bathroom and performed his bathing ritual there.
A few minutes later.
"Oh my God, my head! I don't know how much I drank that intoxicating drink? I had completely forgotten," he murmured as he gently scowled his two temples.
Sean came out of the bathroom and walked over to the wardrobe. The man grabbed a black shirt and navy jeans, his favorite. After he finished wearing his shirt and pants, Sean rushed to the kitchen. Where the morning breakfast was already prepared by Bi Narsih.
Arriving in that room.
Sri looks cool sipping a cup of warm tea made by Bi Narsih. However, when he realized Sean's presence in the room, Sri rushed up from his position with the tea cup. Sri realized that the man did not want to be in a room with him at all, let alone have to be at a table.
"Sri, wait!"
Sri who was ready to waltz away, suddenly stopped her steps after hearing Sean's voice calling her name. Sri looked over and looked at the man closely.
"Yes?"
"Sit again. There's something I want to talk to you about" Sean said as he stepped closer to the dining table.
After Sean sat in one of the chairs, Sri also dropped back in his previous position.
"Ehm, look, Sri."
Sean took a deep breath and exhaled him back so heavily. He was silent for a while with a sad face looking at Sri, then continued his speech.
"Sri, I want us to get divorced."
Sri was shocked. However, as much as possible he tried to stay calm and be mediocre in front of Sean.
"Divorce?"
Sri revealed a small smile, even though her heart felt torn. Her chest is hot and tight. In fact, even taking a breath can be very difficult. It feels stuck to the esophagus.
"I'm sorry, Sri. I can't defend this household. I can't keep my promise to your mother. This decision was deliberately made for the good of both of us. I'm with my choice and you can regain your dreams that were delayed because of this marriage," said Sean who managed to make Sri even more sad.
He swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. His gaze was still fixed on the beautiful-eyed man while continuing to sing a smile.
"No, Mr. Sean. You're wrong! My current dream is only one, maintaining this marriage while waiting for a miracle from God that can flip our hearts and unite our feelings together to become a whole family. However, it seems that it is impossible. You will definitely stick to your current decision, which is divorce," Sri said in her heart.
"How, Sri? You agree, don't you?"
The question posed by Sean just awakened Sri from her daydream.
"What can I do, Mr Sean? I'm against it anyway, you must've stayed tight on your decision, haven't you?" sri replied, still trying to calm down. Though Sri's hand was shaking very violently at that time. Seen from the irregularly moving tea in the glass.
"I'm sorry" Sean said softly.
"There's still something you want to talk to me about, sir? If it's not there, then I'll leave now. I'm afraid it's too late" Sri said as she glanced at the small watch coiled around her wrist.
"Oh yes, Sri. You can stay here for a while. Later after we officially divorce, I'll give you a decent place to live."
"Is there anything else?" Sri was really tired of talking about that matter.
Sean shook his head slowly. "You can go now" he said.
Without thinking, Sri immediately stepped away. Leaving Sean still silent in the room with a sad look.
"I'm sorry, Sri."
"Please, Sir."
"Thank you, Bi."
Just now that Bi Narsih wanted to leave the place, suddenly Sean came back to call him.
"Oh yes, Bi Narsih."
"Yes, Sir?"
"Has Sri had breakfast?" asked Sean as he grabbed his tableware.
Bi Narsih shook his head. "No, Mister. Non Sri never had breakfast at home."
Sean stopped his action then looked at Bi Narsih with his eyebrows intertwined. "really?"
"Yes, Sir. Non Sri said he bought breakfast on the street and was taken to work. During her stay here, every day she had breakfast at her workplace" Bi Narsih explained.
"Oh." Sean just ber'oh' ria, no matter why Sri did it.
Because there was nothing else that the employer wanted to talk about, Bi Narsih also resumed his daily activities. Sean was enjoying his breakfast the next morning.
Meanwhile.
Sri is on her way to Lea's boutique on a matic motorcycle which she recently bought with her savings. As Bi Narsih said, Sri had bought breakfast at a roadside stall and then took it to work.
"OK, Sri! The spirit! You can definitely get through these times. Strong! You must be strong!" Sri tries to encourage herself while continuing to focus on the road ahead of her.
After a while, Sri arrived in front of Lea's boutique. As usual, he was the first to open the boutique door. While Lea was still in her luxurious residence.
Sri cleaned the place and prepared their work. After everything was finished, Sri was immediately sitting in one corner of the room while carrying the rice pecel that he had bought before.
"OK, Sri, life must go on! Forget about the divorce for a moment and focus on the windfall that is in front of you this morning" said Sri who then prayed before starting her breakfast. After he finished reading the prayer, Sri then prepared to enter his first feed.
"Hmm, it smells good! From the smell I know, it must be rice pecel!" said Leah who had just arrived at that place. He walked over to Sri and sat down next to the young woman.
"Mom want?" ask Sri.
Lea shook her head slowly. "No, thank you. I was full, "Lea replied.
Lea opened her bag and took something out of it. "Still remember this? Something that made you up a few days ago" Lea said with a smile looking at Sri.
Sri who was cool to enjoy his rice pecel, immediately stopped the action. He smiled broadly at Lea then immediately grabbed the thing from Lea's hand.
"Well, is this for me?" sri asked enthusiastically.
"Eh, who said! This is mine," said Leah, who then wanted to try to get the fruit back from Sri's hands. However, it was pushed aside by Sri so quickly.
"Ish, Mommy! It's just for me, yeah! Please," he said while putting on a clear face.
Lea chuckled softly then patted the young lady's shoulder gently. "That's for you. Take it, "Reach Lea.
"Well, thank you very much, ma'am! Love you full anyway," said Sri who was so happy.
"Together."
