Chapter 9

After finishing looking at the CCTV footage, Gail invites Lea to meet Sri in her contract. Leah did not refuse, she agreed with her husband's request.

Arriving at the contract.

Sri seemed reluctant to welcome the arrival of Gail in her simple contract. Apart from being in a bad condition, he was also embarrassed to meet the man.

"W-What's up, sir?" sri asked who was standing in the doorway with a little face raised there.

"Sri, can we come in?" ask Gail back, because Sri is still reluctant to open the door to her contract even wider.

"We want to talk about it, Sri. Please, for your sake," persuaded Lea who finally managed to melt Sri's heart.

Sri opened the door wider and invited the couple to go inside.

"Come in, sir."

Not to forget, Sri invited them to sit in a chair in the front room.

"Please sit down, sir."

Lea and Gail sat right in front of Sri then looked at the girl fixedly.

"Before, I apologize to you, Sri. I told Gail everything that happened to you and we checked the CCTV footage around the room and everything you said was true. Sean did something indecent to you. What do you want now, Sri? Whatever your decision, we will stand by you and support all your decisions" Lea said.

"I don't know what to do, Ma'am. I want to hold her accountable, but I'm afraid" Sri said with trembling lips.

"All right then. Tomorrow, my driver will pick you up, Sri. We're gathering at my house and talking about this with Sean" Gail continued.

"But, Tuan—"

"Sri, you just calm down and don't be afraid. We'll always be by your side." Lea gently stroked Sri's shoulder, trying to convince the young woman.

Sri was forced to nod and agree to the wishes of Lea and Gail.

Next day.

"Sean, there's something we want to talk to you about." Gail broke the silence at the dinner table, that morning.

Sean, who was enjoying his breakfast, suddenly choked after hearing Gail's words.

"Geez-uhuk!" Sean grabbed a glass of water and then downed it half.

"Speak what's the matter, Gail?"

Sean put the glass back down while glancing at Lea who was now also looking at him with a cynical look. Sean suspects that Lea has told Gail about the matter and she believes Gail would want to talk to him about it.

"We gather in the main hall after this breakfast is over." Instead of answering Sean's question, Gail instead said it with a cold face, without any expression.

"Why should it be in the main room? Here you can. Just tell me, what exactly do you want to tell me?"

Gail doesn't want to chim in. He continued to focus on the dishes served on his plate. After a few minutes later. Their breakfast was over and Gail was preparing to leave the room.

"Ehm, I'm sure Gail would want to talk about that, right?" sean chirps to Lea who is also preparing to catch up with Gail in the main room.

Lea smiled faintly. "You think?" lea replied as she passed away.

Sean bent his face in annoyance. "Hhh, basic!"

Forcibly, Sean stepped into the main hall, where Gail and Lea were already sitting there waiting for his arrival. Upon arriving in the room, Gail immediately asked Sean to sit right in front of her. Sean said, he immediately dropped into the soft sofa.

"What the hell is it, Gail? It seems serious" said Sean, as if he did not know what his cousin would talk about.

"Please wait a minute" said Gail, glancing at the expensive watch that was coiled around her wrist.

"What's the matter, Gail? Just say! I can't wait here long. I have an appointment with my girlfriend" Sean said, half annoyed.

"It won't be long, any minute."

Just at that moment, a car arrived in the front yard of Gail's luxurious residence. The car driven by his personal driver was deliberately ordered by Gail to pick up Sri in her rented.

With hesitation, Sri stepped her foot into the luxurious residence. Set foot to the place, as if to remind Sri again with the fateful incident that befell him that night.

Sri's tiny body trembled violently. In fact, cold sweat kept coming out through his skin pores. It didn't take long, the young lady finally arrived at the main hall.

Sean snorted angrily when he found out that Sri was the person Gail was waiting for. The arrival of the young woman makes Sean more convinced that Gail will indeed talk about the problem of the incident.

"Hhh, he's again!" Sean leaned his back on the back of the sofa while throwing his face away.

Seeing Sean's reaction like that, Sri became even more frightened. Especially when he remembered how Sean treated himself that night. Very rough and looks like a wild beast ready to pounce on its prey.

"Come here, Sri." Lea patted the empty space beside her and Sri immediately approached and sat down next to her master.

"Mbak" said Sri with trembling lips.

"Sean," said Gail, trying to open their conversation.

Sean glanced at Gail for a moment then again threw his gaze in another direction.

"I've known everything, Sean. I've also checked the CCTV footage around your room. You better admit it and take responsibility for Sri. Don't you feel sorry for him? He's your victim, Sean, and you have to take responsibility for everything you do, right away" Gail said, staring fixedly at Sean's face.

"In charge? That night I was drunk, Gail! I don't even know what really happened between us! Could he have come to me and teased me?"

"Mr Sean!" Sri inflamed. He got up from his position and prepared to attack the man. Lucky Lea immediately held him down. He pulled Sri's hand and then invited her to sit back in her place.

"Sri, be patient."

"But I'm upset, ma'am! I'm not a seductress, just like she thought," Sri fumed, while Sean was still throwing his face away, not wanting to look at Sri who was not his typical woman.

"Come, Sean. The CCTV footage is more than enough to prove that you are guilty. Now, let's put it this way, I'll give you two choices. Responsible to Sri or choose punishment? Sri could have reported your actions to the authorities, as he already has strong evidence and one of them is the result of CCTV footage," said Gail who managed to make Sean confused.

"But, Gail!"
