"W-what? Did I not hear wrong?" Sean tried to convince him that what he had just heard was true.

"Yes, Sean. That's right, Sri's pregnant!" continued Gail.

With hesitation, Sri handed her pregnancy test kit to Lea, which Lea handed over to Sean.

Sean watched the pregnancy test kit that was now in his hands so carefully. A moment later, Sean shook his head. It was as if denying everything he witnessed with both of his eyeballs.

"No! This is impossible, Gail. We probably did that that night. Because no one knows for sure what happened there. But that's just that once. Even until now I had never touched that girl at all! So, it feels impossible if she suddenly became pregnant with my son" Sean said, trying to avoid what had happened to her.

"Here, enough, Sean! Don't look for excuses anymore! Now I ask you, do you still want to divorce Sri, while in her stomach is your next generation growing up in there," Gail asked so seriously.

Sean seemed so frustrated. He ruffled his neatly combed hair, so rough that he dropped himself on the sofa.

"I don't know, Gail. I-i'm confused!" Sean took a deep breath and then threw it back.

"Don't be stupid, Sean! Do you want to waste your own flesh and blood?" gail said with inflammation.

Sean could say nothing more. He was still in a deep shock at that fact.

"If you really want to divorce me, just divorce me. I'm not gonna prevent you from doing it, Mr. Sean. All decisions are in your hands, but there is one thing I want" said Sri who suddenly dared to open her mouth in front of everyone. Sean lifted his head then looked at the girl fixedly.

"Never look for the existence of this child again because by divorcing me, I assume you never want it and you don't have to worry because this baby will still be happy, despite living a simple life with me," continued.

Sean was still silent with his lips locked tightly. However, the man's gaze was still on Sri.

"How, Sean? I hope you can think about it carefully" said Gail, again reminded.

Sean breathed heavily. "Give me some time, I'll think about it again" replied Sean who was beginning to despair.

After reminding Sean at length, finally the couple Gail and Lea returned to their residence. While Sri and Sean choose to rest in their respective rooms.

"Is Sean gonna listen to our words, honey?" ask Lea who is still worried about the fate of Sean and Sri's relationship.

"Hopefully. I hope he won't make the stupid decisions he'll regret for the rest of his life" Gail said.

Next day.

Almost a full night Sean can't sleep. He kept thinking about what decision he should make next. To the extent that the man's eye patch was swollen and there were dark circles surrounding his two beautiful senses.

After thinking about it carefully enough, Sean finally made a decision that was so difficult. This was even the most difficult decision he had ever taken in his entire life.

"I have to see Anya. Got to!" muttered Sean who then rushed into the bathroom and performed his morning ritual as usual.

Meanwhile, in Sri's room. The young woman sat on the edge of the bed with a blank look staring at the wall of her room. His hands did not stop stroking the stomach, where the fetus was growing there. Just like Sean who could not sleep last night, Sri also continued to wake up overnight to say hello again in the morning.

"Maybe today is my last day here. But it's okay, honey. You still have a mother. I promise to always take care and love you, so you will never feel a lack of affection. I will be a mother and a father to you" Sri murmured.

Back to Sean.

After he finished performing his bathing ritual, the man hurried away and intended to leave his residence.

"Mr Sean, you don't have breakfast first?" bi Narsih asked Sean who stepped hurriedly out of his mansion.

"It's not necessary, Bi. I'll have breakfast outside" Sean replied as he passed. The man entered his car and broke the silence that morning.

A few moments later, the luxury car he drove, now stopped right in front of Anya's residence. Anya was so surprised to see the arrival of Sean who was so sudden. The man did not even give any news of his arrival.

Anya hurriedly welcomed Sean's arrival. "Honey, you came here without saying the same to me first?" ask Anya while spreading both hands in front of Sean.

Sean scratched his head that was not itching. The man's face still looked crumpled, shrinking in thought at that moment.

"I'm sorry, Anya. But I have to come here without telling you first. There's something very important, which I want to talk to you about" Sean replied.

Anya smiled widely. For some reason suddenly seethed in his head if the arrival of Sean this time is to propose and edit him.

"really? We'd better talk inside, honey!" sutu Anya with such enthusiasm.

Sean nodded in response to 'Yes'. Anya takes Sean to the main room and sits there.
