Chapter 27

"Ehm, it's nothing." Sri undoes her intention and right at that moment, a voice heard someone calling Sean's name from outside and accompanied by a knock on the door of his house. Sean and Sri turned to the door.

"Who is that?" Sean monologues, then steps his foot toward the main door.

While Sri was still silent in her position standing with an anxious face. For some reason he was so sure, his guests this time were Lea and Gail sir.

Sean arrived at the door and immediately opened the door wide. He gasped in shock when he saw Gail standing at the door with her face so seriously looking at him. Not far from the man, it appeared that Lea who was also looking at him with almost the same expression.

"Gail?"

Sean scratched his head that was not itching. The presence of the couple made his chest flutter erratically. Sean believes that the presence of Gail and Lea must have something to do with Sri.

"Can we come in?" ask Gail with a flat face.

"Ah, of course, Gail. Without asking permission, you can enter this house whenever you want. Yes, just like I am free to go in and out of your house," Sean said, chuckling and letting the couple into his house.

Without chiming in on Sean's words, Gail and Lea stepped in and sat down on the sofa in the room. With hesitation, Sean also dropped himself on the sofa, not far from the position Gail and Lea were in.

"What's up, Gail. It seems like there's something you want to tell me" Sean said, restarting their conversation.

"I'm sure you know what my purpose is here, Sean," Gail explained, still with a serious facial expression looking at the man.

Sean breathed heavily. He was sure that Sri had told him about their divorce plan. He could not hide his regret for Sri who used Leah and always complained about their home problems to the woman to find justification.

"Based on the fucking village girl! I'm sure he must have told Lea about the divorce. Hmm, looks so innocent. However, it turns out that you are really sneaky, Sri!" sean grumbled in his heart.

"Does this have anything to do with our divorce plan?" Inevitably, Sean was forced to admit that he really intended to divorce Sri.

Gail smiled cynically. "Hmm, you admit it too."

"It's up to you to tell me what, Gail. But, for sure I will remain firm on my stance. I will divorce Sri and start a new life with Anya!" sean was determined without thinking.

Gail reflexes rose from her position. He stood in front of Sean with his hands clenched perfectly. "You're crazy, huh?!" screeched the man with round eyes.

Unbeknownst to them, Sri was already in the room. He fell silent with his body shaking at Sean's statement just now. Sri has tried to toughen up and reveal everything that happened to him. However, for some reason, hearing Sean's statement just now, managed to make the young woman hurt and it felt like it was being torn apart.

"Sri!" peeked Lea, who then immediately approached the woman.

"I'm fine, Ma'am." Sri is still trying to smile and pretending to be tough. He also tried to convince everyone that he was okay.

Although Sri said that she was fine, Lea knew how the young woman really felt.

"Come here" Lea took him, who then led Sri to the sofa and sat the woman there, right next to her body.

Sean rolled his eyeballs. He put on a lazy face when he realized the existence of Sri in the room. He also did not care how Sri felt about his statement just now. Most importantly for Sean, he had calmed down to admit everything in front of Gail and Lea.

"You can't do it, Sean!" gail's protest, which Sean didn't accept.

"Why can't you, Gail? I'm partly married to her, responsible for the incident and now it's time we end this loveless marriage. Just imagine, Gail! Do you think we'll be happy? While we have absolutely no feelings for each other" Sean explains again, trying to convince Gail.

"But this is not a matter of love and not love, Sean! This is about —" Not to mention Gail finished her speech, Sri suddenly rose from her sitting position and interrupted Gail's speech just now.

"Mr Gail, I beg you!" Sri tries to prevent Gail from telling Sean about her pregnancy. He had already decided that he would not tell the man and let the divorce happen. Sri is well established with the decision to raise the baby herself, even without Sean.

"But, Sri. Sean has to be told about it, so that he doesn't want to be with you" said Lea, who disagrees with Sri's decision to hide her pregnancy from Sean.

"Ck! What's the matter, anyway!" Sean clucked. He was really lazy because he thought Sri was just looking for an excuse for the divorce to be annulled.

"Having been pregnant!" gail took it very seriously. He looked at both of Sean's netra fixed and as if to say that he was not messing with what he said just now.

"What-what?!" screeched Sean with perfectly rounded eyes.
