Chapter 98. Envelope DNA Test Results

Noelle has been transferred to the VVIP ward. His condition has improved. Everyone is there now. Allegra was the most deft to take care of him. Darrell is not suspicious of his mother's attitude.

"How are you doing, Noelle?" ask Sharron.

"I'm good" he replied softly.

"What exactly happened?" search Sharron.

When his best friend interrogated, everyone who was there was silent. Alan and Darrell won't open the sound first. Noelle was trying to remember something. But, it was not entirely that he could remember. Not because of a mild concussion, but Noelle was connecting the puzzle to one and the other.

After being able to remember everything, Noelle was unsure of being able to tell this to her best friend. He'll even ruin the mood.

I'm sorry, Sharron. I've failed. I shouldn't have told you the details of the matter. I've kept you away from your family.

"Noelle, why silence?" sharron asked as if he was still curious about the answer Noelle would give.

"It's just an accident, Sharron. You don't worry" Noelle said calmly.

Alan and Darrell were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Not with Sharron. He was still not satisfied due to the reason of the accident. There was no way Noelle would suddenly run for no reason. Sharron retreated and then looked at Alan and Darrell one by one. Both are clearly keeping secrets.

"Darling, you want to eat first?" ask Allegra. He doesn't care about a lot of people there.

"Do you want anything?" ask Javer. He was quite happy to see his wife as if he had a lot of attention on Noelle. In just a few days the DNA results will come out.

"If you want something, tell me immediately" Alan said.

"You're all too much. I'm fine" Noelle said.

Everyone smiled at Noelle's seemingly fine behavior. In the depths of his heart there was still a sense of fear about Blair. The man is not only a psychopathic man, but also a man who is more than that. It's hideous!

"Noelle, why silence? What are you thinking right now?" Sharron could not stand it. It's like everyone in there is tight-lipped. She did not blame her in-laws, but looked strange with the attitude of the three people who were there.

Noelle remained silent so Sharron decided to go out in search of the wind. He was sure there was something unknown at all.

"I'm out first. Let you rest well" Sharron said.

"Honey, where are you going?" ask Darrell.

Sharron ignored her husband's call. He preferred to go out of the ward without caring about the call. Darrell.

Sharron chose to sit not far from his best friend's room. Darrell sits right next to his wife.

"You must be curious, right?" ask Darrell.

"I'm lazy to argue, Darrell. If you really want to tell me the details of the problem, I can accept whatever it is. However, if you are all silent, don't blame me. I'll find the truth myself" Sharron threatened.

"alright. This is for the pregnancy program we are living. I'll say everything."

"No need if you have to. You've all been silent as if I've never been one of you."

Darrell let out a long sigh before saying everything. Sharron would be angry with him soon.

"Honey, Noelle is on a mission to find information about Samuel Alexander. The man who may be your parents."

Darrell then kept quiet.

"That's not necessary, Darrell. Free to endanger my best friend. If I had anything to do with Noelle, I would never have forgiven you. Just leave me like this. I am happy living with you. Don't freak me out like this!"

"Aren't you angry?"

Sharron shook his head. "You should apologize to Noelle. Give him a decent job in the office. Don't make him suffer like this. You don't know this sense of loss when you know Noelle is dying like before. I feel guilty for losing her."

Darrell understands how much Sharron suffers when he finds Noelle helpless. However, he has done much for his own benefit.

Two weeks later.

Noelle returned to her apartment a week ago, but Javer and Allegra have yet to return to Italy for an important letter. Allegra kept this a secret from his son, but Alan knew everything.

As usual, this afternoon when Alan was in the office, he also felt very anxious. Today's the supposed time to take the DNA test results between Noelle and Javer.

"Sir, I'm gonna leave for a minute. There's business to be done" Alan said.

"Tumbens. Where are you going?"

"Hospital, sir. I have to get the files there."

Alan could not explain the details because Allegra forbade.

"Hemm, go! Get back when you're done, '" Darrell said.

"Thank you, sir."

Alan rushed to drive his car. Javer and Allegra were obviously waiting for him there. The distance of Alan's office building and the intended hospital is indeed quite good. It takes time to get there.

Javer and Allegra were waiting for him to worry that Alan was not coming. However, after he got a reply from his son's assistant, he was sure that Alan would come.

"Patience! Soon we will know everything. If Noelle is not proven to be Maggia, do not be sad! Maybe Maggia's still out there." Javer advises his wife. One thing that feared in the middle-aged man's mind was that Allegra's psyche would be disturbed a second time. The longing for Maggia has been ingrained ever since the baby disappeared. For 24 years Javer tried to give understanding to Allegra, but still the woman thought. Already trying to search to and fro until finally Alan provides shocking evidence.

They are not sure, but what's wrong with doing a DNA test to add to that belief. Even if the results are not appropriate, Allegra or Javer will not regret it.

"Sorry, Mr. Madam. I have to go to the office first today" Alan said when he met his master's parents.

"Darrell doesn't know, does he?" ask Allegra.

"No, Mistress. I can make sure that this is safe. You don't suspect me."

"Good then" said Javer. "Oh yes, Ma. Whatever the outcome, I hope you are not disappointed. Although some of the possible characteristics that Noelle has are appropriate, but our differences with him are far away. His face bears no resemblance to you at all."

"Pa, you're going to keep raving like this? I was curious about the results. We better get in now" Allegra, who was impatient.

The three of them went into the doctor's office. The doctor was waiting for him.

"Sorry, we're late" Alan said.

"No problem, Sir. You must be anxious about the outcome, right? I will directly hand you the results of this test. After getting the answer, hopefully you are not disappointed" said the doctor explained.

"Thank you, doctor" they answered.

A word of disappointment with the results of DNA tests they hold today may be directly proportional. Could have been disappointed because Noelle proved not to be his son. You can also be disappointed with the inversely proportional version. Actually Noelle was really the son of Allegra and Javer, but from the structure of the face, there was no resemblance at all.

Allegra will open the test results that are already in his grip outside the doctor's room. At least if Noelle proves not to be her daughter, she could pass out. Is it safe to be in the hospital area? But what if it were the opposite? Allegra will definitely be very grateful to get such good news.
