"You know what's going on? And you're willing to tell me everything honestly? without taking one side?" Ask Anta before Davin or Zico say anything crucial to her.
Davin and Zico nodded and looked at Rambo at a glance then looked at Anta again and said.
"Every sir, I swear on this testimony. That I can vouch for the truth while bearing all its consequences, if proven to be lying."
Anta Reza nodded folding her arms and leaning back on the chair, listening closely to every word that Rambo's members were saying. Sometimes he looks at his best friend in front, after Davin and Zico convey all his knowledge about the Rambo household.
After Davin and Zico finish their assignment to help Rambo testify, they are asked by Anta Reza to return to their respective workplaces. Leave Rambo and he's alone. Anta could feel the sadness and despair of her best friend while trying to think of ways to deal with it. But he has to say something.
"Did Erin from the beginning of marriage indeed behave like that?" Ask Anta.
Rambo himself did not want to refute Anta's question, he replied with a small nod.
Anta kept staring at him. "You have talked about it often, what is wrong and what should be right? A couple should be open, nothing to cover between you, that's the key to a relationship."
"Often," Rambo replied with a smile. "Only with false promises can I see clearly that he has turned a blind eye to all his faults. But it's all unnecessary, I've borne a lot more expectations than all this."
Too much disappointment carried by Rambo, too many lies he kept. Even after three months of marriage, Anta Reza didn't even sniff out anything about her best friend's life. Rambo who he knows as a man who is not good at taking care of the household, apparently already required because the wife who forgets nature.
Recalling Davin and Zico's explanation just now, Anta's little heart was filled. As much as the empathy that flows he feels a little guilty for feeling cheated. Even something like this, someone else knows better than he himself. What kind of friend am I, to the point of not knowing what he's up to. Muttering Anta in the heart.
"Actually I have also informed and met Erin's family about this divorce. But their response was a little annoying to me, even though I also understood that it was appropriate for the parents to do it. As you said, I have actually carried the honor of Erin. But it seems, Erin who doesn't need me to carry her pride." Rambo said with a sigh.
Three months, many mistakes and many opportunities have come. One thing for Rambo that Anta Reza must know; 'Males can maintain the self-respect of a woman, as long as the woman is also able to maintain the husband's self-esteem and understand his nature.'
"I don't blame anyone, she's a young, career girl and pretty girl. Perhaps that was also why, he still put his life as a girl. I don't mean to ruin his honor, but just as you know Reza, as a man I have my pride too. I would be guilty of not being able to direct and guide my wife. But what does all that mean, if my own wife is too arrogant and looks up before me? It's all just empty, like talking to a basin with no contents." Clearly Rambo with a simpler and heavier tone.
"What about your mother? Rani's sister? They know already? How am I supposed to respond to Rambo?"
Somehow, for sure now Anta Reza feels so far away from her own best friend, they are too close and even ready to be bothered or troublesome. But, unfortunately with all these events, he felt a little awkward.
"I'll explain it later with them after getting a license to file for divorce from you. Do you think it's wrong for me to do this? I'm ready to get divorced." Said Rambo, while drinking again the bottled water that was given by Anta.
"I can't justify it, but I won't blame you Rambo either." Anta Reza said, "If you think there's more reason to live together. Then talk about it well. Meet with a large family, no need to invite neighbors, enough nuclear family. Give Erin back to her family, apologize to her father and mother for not being able to survive."
Suddenly silent, Rambo only looked at the family photo of Anta Reza on the table. The simple family Rambo dreams of, with full pictures, his wife, husband and three children, during holidays and weekends.
"Are you in agreement with this decision?" Suddenly Anta rounded her gaze at Rambo, so that the gondrong man returned to his current thoughts. "There's no more door apologies and more opportunities for him?" Ask Anta back.
Rambo shook his head slowly.
"alright. If that's the case, I'll approve your divorce petition." Anta Reza answered with a smile, happier than ever. Same with his best friend Rambo.
He almost shed tears, meeting with Anta Reza did get him a lot of lessons and input. Really, even after Rambo changed his attitude, it was still Anta Reza who understood him the most and all his needs.
"Thank you.... " Say Rambo in a very slow tone, smaller than the sound of his own breath.
