Shackles the Heart of the Police Officer
CHAPTER 69 - The Fruit of Rambo's Struggle for the Marwah

"Well.... "

Rambo breathed a sigh of relief as his knees relaxed without feeling. He has spoken the word and witnesses have said it is legitimate. His chest clucked as Anta Reza patted him on the shoulder and gave a smile.

"Congratulations, now that your love has gone where you want to go."

Rambo did not forget the unexpected female figure, he turned to look back at Mother Amy who sat gracefully in a light blue kebaya and songket cloth. Red ruby earrings hang on her wrinkled ears, but she is very beautiful and more than luxurious.

The anxiety he had just felt was slowly shrinking and changing with an unstoppable novelty. Thank you, ma'am. Thank ye... He said in his heart.

And now the time came, he stood at the end of the red carpet to greet Marwah, who had been legitimately redacted just now. Explosions of awe overshadowed Rambo's mind, causing his chest to pound violently when he heard footsteps coming from the upper stairs. Slowly and very slowly, Rambo did not dare to open his eyes. This feeling was too dominant filled his heart now, until he was powerless to control himself.

Rambo's breathing became more and more frenetic as the host said, "The bride has gone down, let the groom welcome to pray and kiss his wife."

Rambo carefully raised his eyelids, and instantly his heart trembled violently until his legs were squeezed again, when the shadow of Marwah entered filled his dark eyes.

She, Marwah, looks very beautiful and perfect in a white-tailed kebaya, the makeup on her face is very suitable and attached to radiant Marwah beauty. So beautiful, like the image of an angel that Rambo had never imagined before.

And a lifetime of only three times Rambo experienced this kind of overwhelming feeling, until he cried, when his father died, when Marwah first left him and now, he said, when Marwah came to her as a wife.

Rambo's heart breaks into thousands of scattered stars, especially as he tries to hold the clear bead down with his big fingers, the more he holds back, the more he vibrates.

Rambo, no power to hold back.

"Om,--"

He grimaced for a moment after Marwah's soft voice entered his ear, which meant that his wife was near, right in front of him.

"Come, wipe your wife's head and let her kiss your hand for the first time as her leader now." Whisper Mr. Mamat from behind Rambo.

Rambo said, although he sobbed, he greeted Marwah with a swipe at the head while Marwah kissed his hand.

"Thank you for fighting this far, and for accepting me for who I am." Marwah.

"I should have said that. Thank you for being in the hospital that night, thank you for being at the coffee shop that night. I love you Marwah, don't let me lose you again." Reply Rambo while whimpering.

Thus, when the event between the two finished Rambo did not forget to invite Marwah to prostrate to the women who had attended unexpectedly, and indirectly had given his blessing to them, she was Mother Amy.

"Mom, Rambo say thank you. I love Mom, thank you for setting foot here, giving our blessing-" Rambo whispered after crouching down, resting at Amy's Mom's feet.

However, even before Rambo finished saying, Amy's mother immediately got up from the chair, fixed with her arrogant face.

"Bu---" Marwah said, so Amy's mother stopped in place. "Marwah was happy to see Mom... " Said smiling despite not getting any answers, Amy's mother left Rambo's house.

The day passed, and day turned into night. Marwah finally occupies Rambo's room with him. The room that even Erin herself rarely slept with Rambo.

"Om, why are you crying? Though this is the first day we become husband and wife, not even 24 hours we pass today. What do you think makes you cry?”

Marwah asked her husband on the first night of her wedding.

"Om, this morning crying. Tonight's crying too, you still think about Mom huh?"

Actually, Marwah was sleeping soundly and sleeping very early. Naturally, because the wedding reception party drains a lot of energy, mental and mind. The night before her wedding day she could not sleep. Nervousness kept hugging her; many times she went to the toilet, as if she wanted to keep urinating. And without realizing it, Rambo also felt that way.

This event was a momentum they were very much waiting for and was sacred to both of them. Marwah will eventually build a household with a dream man she loves, as well as Rambo can finally challenge the woman he dreams of in every breath and do'a-do'nya at the end of the night.

"Truely said Anta Reza, maybe Mother changed her mind after I said I would lecture Marwah, yesterday the day after... " Think Rambo.

"Don't cry Om," Marwah came over to Rambo on the chair, her small hand rubbing a trace of tears on Rambo's cheek.

"Marwah, forgive me!"

"Why are you even apologizing, Om?"

Knowing the response of her husband of 10 hours, Marwah was confused. Heart's fidgeting. What causes a husband to keep crying, and why does he apologize.

"Sorry for making you have so much trouble, sorry for maybe adding to your burden with college just to be worth it in my mom's eyes. I don't know what kind of magnanimity you have, only I know you've been through a lot of hardships because of this." Said Rambo.

Marwah smiled as Rambo said so. "Om, I'm even grateful that you sent me to school. College was my dream, only I was forced to bury it because of economic limitations. Don't say this is my burden, I welcome it with joy."

After talking to each other to pour out his heart and mind, Rambo told his wife to go to bed early. Because he knew Marwah was so tired for their wedding. Marwah actually refused to go to bed early. She wants to be with her husband first to make sure Rambo is okay.

Because Rambo asked for it sincerely and he did feel a very tiredness, he finally said goodbye to Rambo to go back to sleep first. In fact, the watch on his hand just showed the number 20.45.

Rambo can only catch up with Marwah up to the ranjaang, after feeling calmer, around half twelve. After changing into a nightclothes, he saw his wife who was sleeping.

Silently pecking for a moment, he watched Marwah for a long time. There was a single lump of feeling arising in the depths of his heart. He himself did not know what it was. Finally, he came to a realization when there was a chill dripping under his eyes; a single tear. Then he enveloped Marwah, and kissed her forehead.

"What am I worried about? I am grateful to have you now, but so grateful that I fear losing you. Even if we are going to part ways because of death, I am only begging God. Take me first, for you can live without me, Marwah. As for me, if you are called first, I die that very second..."

He laid his body beside his wife.
