Shackles the Heart of the Police Officer
CHAPTER 37 - That 5-Year Wait...

Tonight, standing in the middle of his house, Rambo stretched out his hand and inhaled a deep breath of air as if he had been enjoying the atmosphere of freedom, his chest rising up and down along with his breath. Rambo pounding, real happiness all this time he was waiting for.

Rambo is finally free, free from the prison of marriage that shackles him in agony. He could feel relief in this house, when he was alone without Erin. He knows what else can complete his freedom, that is the door to sacred his relationship with Marwah slowly began to open.

"How would Marwah feel if I told her that one of our problems was over?" Rambo said with a shy smile.

He will probably feel the same relief, Rambo thought.

And Rambo immediately picks up the car keys on the desk, preparing to go to his little house at the end of town. For especially if not to meet Marwah, the woman he loved for life.

A bright light from his car headlights illuminates Marwah's face at the front door, Rambo until after almost 40 minutes of travel. His smile turned upside down to see the woman forced to close her eyes due to glare.

"Omm?"

"Why are you outside? Want to go find something or something else?" Rambo asked as soon as he got out of the car.

Marwah's eyes opened for a moment. "I heard the car in front of the house, so I went out to look."

Next to Rambo's eyebrows raised and the wide corners of his mouth twitched at a glance. "Well, you have welcomed me indirectly. Comein! I have something to talk to you about."

"Speak about what? What was your plan yesterday, Om?"

Rambo nodded. "Everything went well, although it did happen a lot of dramatic things, Erin had threatened me again I, but for her I can exchange threats with her using CCTV footage." Said Rambo then turned his body and held both sides of Marwah's shoulders. "I'm going to file a divorce in court tomorrow, after Erin and I officially get divorced I can find a way out for you. I'll find out everything that's going on between you and your husband."

When met with eyes full of sincerity from Rambo, Marwah's little heart was filled. I don't know what he is currently feeling, what about the feeling that the longing man triggered? that's another thing. Marwah was happy to see Rambo happy, but seeing his position in their midst, this could not be called a good thing.

"I will always support you if it is the path you choose Om. I am happy to see you smiling" said Marwah, and unconsciously raised her hand to wipe away the tears that had been present sneaking under her beautiful eyes.

After Rambo returned from his home, bringing the news that made Marwah realize that Rambo really wants happiness through him. The atmosphere was quiet and calming, leaving the two of them in a dramatic lament of novelty.

"Come here" said Rambo, this time he grabbed Marwah's hand and pulled it into his field chest. "You're crying again."

Marwah's fingers trembled in Rambo's grasp as memories began to flood his head. Marwah clasped Rambo's hand tightly, took a breath and closed his eyes, dispelling the invading shadows on his head.

"What do you think of now when you touch and cry for me?" ask Rambo.

Marwah's eyes slowly opened. "So many things have crossed my head, Om. Until I don't know what I'm thinking now."

"Our relationship is not as smooth as others until it can be fully close. Even for now," said Rambo softly, "You and I stand between them (husband and wife) but there is at least one thing to be grateful for that God still gives me time to meet you, and revived the feeling of my dead heart."

Rambo closed his eyes for a moment, he looked down in the style of old times, like a poetic old thinker. "Because of that, don't look weak. Never show your tears in front of anyone, other than the man you've taken refuge in."

"Surely," Whispered Marwah. He did know that Rambo was very anticipating tears, repeatedly Rambo also gave advice to him about everything that shows he is weak.

However, Rambo's vision explores something outside the house. His warrior instincts came out, he believed something had come up ahead. He frowned and narrowed his eyes to catch the disturbing shadow.

"Sleep, yeah. I'll wait until you're good while smoking outside" Rambo said.

"You're going straight home, aren't you?"

"Yes, after you sleep."

Marwah nodded, then took a step forward towards her room. While Rambo picks up a cigarette from the back of his pants pocket, he's ready to look for the spy.

"Come out" Rambo said casually as he pulled a match on the tip of the cigarette in his mouth. "I know you've been peeping from earlier."

Then the figure came out from the shadow of the leaves, its tall body appearing under the deathly moonlight.

"My guess is right apparently-" said the stalker, who would have thought the figure was Rambo's own boss and sidekick, Anta Reza.

"When did you become a stalker?" Rambo sighed, throwing away the tobacco smoke that was delicious not clogged. Men call it stress medicine.

"Since then," replied Anta Reza while crossing her arms in front of her chest, relaxed by leaning against the wall of Rambo's house. "My guess is not wrong, your desire for divorce, all because of Marwah... "

"Not entirely wrong," Rambo again sucked the delicious tobacco smoke that was clamped both fingers. "If this is true, then why? Are you going to change your mind about the approval letter?"

Anta Reza looked up, looking up at the pitch-black, rumbling sky.

"No" he replied slowly. "I want to give you the letter directly. Today you didn't go into the office, was it for taking care of the divorce with Erin and the family?"

Rambo nodded, not answering in any words.

"Therefore I took the initiative to deliver it to you after work. But, when I got to see you just came out of the fence. So I'll just follow your car up here."

"You've heard and seen it all, Reza. But I hope that once again, you will not hinder my will. I don't care what you think after knowing what I'm doing, I don't care what Reza is. One thing you should know I've been waiting for this, a long time.I won't back down." Said Rambo while glancing at Anta Reza on his left.

A subtle sigh escaped from Anta Reza's mouth, which was enough to describe her thoughts at this moment. Somehow he will respond, for sure He has indeed guessed this has all happened, so it should be.

"I didn't know you for two months Rambo. I know everything you think and hide it in front of me. But I have great respect for your decision to separate from Erin, even though I cannot justify what you have done in your marriage. Marwah it's just the past, and unfortunately your love is too sincere, I appreciate it." Said Anta Reza, while moving forward leaving the wall backrest.

He started walking again, closing in on Rambo.

"You've done something wrong, don't play any more. Finish your relationship with Erin, don't touch other women, while you're still married. I can only advise you like this, I know you're not a dissident man. My advice is not to mislead you, so follow it." Anta Reza's soft voice back then, perfectly matched his cold expression.

Rambo remained silent, listening to the words of his best friend. This is a valuable lesson, and Rambo is very lucky to have a friend who is willing to give him advice but also supports his decision.

"This, yours!" Anta Reza said again while giving a paper envelope containing a divorce filing letter requested Rambo the day after tomorrow. Then after Rambo takes the letter from his hand, Anta Reza steals a pat on Rambo's shoulder.

"You're lucky, your boss is me. The 5-year wait is hard, isn't it?!" whispered while smiling.
