Simulation System

Simulation System
Chapter 3

Rein was unable to react on what was happening, he was only able to see the notifications from the system interface to find out what was happening.

[Host has been killed. Simulation is complete. ]

Soon after, Rein's eyes darkened and returned to the clinic room where he had been.

As his consciousness returned to reality, Rein immediately held onto his neck with both hands.

"Damn! The feeling of a cut neck was so real!"

Rein's wet body was filled with cold sweat. The experience of death in the simulation system was all so very real, even he still remembered the horror as his head was cut off.

Rein raised his right hand and saw that his current hand was still trembling in fear from his previous death experience.

"Who knew that this simulation system was so cruel? Hehe, I overestimate myself. With all of Viola's strength, I wasn't even able to withstand a single strike from him." Rein chuckled miserably and made fun of himself for being too blind with his own abilities.

Rein immediately closed the system interface, for a period of time, he did not want to open the simulation system anymore because he still had trauma left from his previous experience.

Beside his bed, in the desk drawer, there was a fruit basket carried by Viola and a mobile phone. Rein reached out his hand and took his cell phone, and looked at the clock on his phone.

"Hour 1pm. I still have time to recover. By the way the simulation system can store anything other than individuals, what if I copy the training ground?" Rein pondered in his mind.

In the school dojo, there is an exercise mechanism that aims to train movements, reflexes, and others. According to the simulation system, he could copy such a training ground. He was quite curious as to what he would get when running the simulation of the training ground, forget about the individual simulation for a period of time.

Rein rested at the school clinic for half an hour and ate the fruits that Viola brought. As his mind calmed slightly from his first death experience, Rein got off the bed, and put on his school clothes around his bed.

A handsome young man wearing a Blue-Gold school uniform is back!

However, Rein's face was still pale at the moment, as if he had seen a ghost.

With heavy strides, Rein walked out of the school clinic and towards the school Dojo.

On his way, several people greeted him, and Rein greeted back politely with a pale face. Others wondered what had happened to Rein.

With great difficulty, Rein finally returned to the school Dojo.

Everyone in the school Dojo was busy with their own affairs, so Rein's previous presence making the topic quite warm did not cause any sensation when he returned to the school Dojo.

Rein walked over to one of the training grounds named 'Fighter Robot'.

Robot Brawlers training ground has 3 places in the school Dojo, each place has a queue of about 5 people.

Focusing his gaze on the training ground of the Fighting Robot, Rein gave the command inside his mind.

"Copying!"

[Detected Host wants to copy the training ground: Robot Fighter (Level Beyond Mortal). Requires 500 points to copy this place, do you want to continue? ]

"Continue!"

[Clearned training ground immediately ]

After the system answered, a spark of colorful light appeared covering the entire training ground of the fighting robot for a while before disappearing.

[Exercise successfully in copy ]

Rein nodded slightly, he immediately opened the simulation system and headed to the Simulation Scene menu.

As he did that, he looked at the choice of 'Individual' again and made him goosebumps unconsciously.

[ Simulation System: Training ]

[ 1. Robot Fighting (Daily) ]

"Eh? What does this daily mean?" Rein subconsciously asked in his mind, but what he did not expect was the system answering his question.

[The 'Daily' simulation type is more or less the same as the mission. Each Host undergoes a Daily simulation, the Host will get a certain reward, depending on the performance of the Host. Daily Simulations generally have Points rewards as well as other ]

[The system is just an intelligence of a program created to guide the Host ]

"Hm... Besides simulating and copying something, what else can the System do?" Rein asked again.

[For now, the Simulation System function has been fully known to Hosts. Please remember that the more powerful the Host, the System will also evolve following the Host ]

"Hmm, interesting." Rein smirked.

After asking the System a few more things, Rein got all the answers he asked. But if it is related to the outside world, the system cannot answer.

In the school Dojo, there are three training grounds, namely Robot Fighting, Reflex Fighting, and Fighting Weapons.

Rein copied everything into the simulation system and spent 1500 points overall, leaving 12100 points.

Dojo in school has several levels, namely Beginner Level, Intermediate, and Genius. For Rein, of course the Dojo he entered was beginner level, and all the training grounds for Beyond Mortal Cultivators.

Looking at the price, copying the Level Beyond Mortal training ground had a price of 500 points.

Finishing everything, Rein thought for a moment and decided to go to the school library.

Inside the simulation system, he could copy the technique. Rein had memorized all the techniques he had, yet it seemed like he needed a physical object that existed in the real world to copy those techniques into the simulation system.

Not long after, Rein came to the school library. With his identity token, he walked into the first floor of the library and went inside.

Heading to where his technique was, Rein finally arrived at a tall pile of books. Looking at him for a while, Rein found the book he was looking for.

The Demon Breath Technique!

All of the techniques that Rein had were related to Demon, that didn't mean he wanted to become an Assasins or anything like that.

In the last 3 years, many people have disappeared and been kidnapped by an organization. It is a common thing in this world if one disappears, but the number of people missing is rather large, and it is getting the attention of the local government.

Rein's first goal to cultivate was to protect his own life! Even though he had the experience of living in two worlds, it did not mean that he could easily give up his present life.

So he chose stealth techniques because every stealth technique could increase his speed, besides that he could hide in the darkness, and other things. At its core, stealth techniques relate to actions to hide and run.

"Copying!"

As he said that, the system immediately copied the Demon Breath Technique into the system, and spent another 500 points.

Rein nodded small and immediately looked for the rest.

He had a lot of points, so he wasn't too worried. As for the matter of looking for points, he would think about it later.

Spending 1 hour, Rein ended up copying all of his techniques into the system.

Looking at his phone, he saw that the clock had shown at 3 pm.

The cultivator academy had very free and flexible school hours. On Monday and Tuesday, all students will take compulsory lessons from school teachers. The rest of the day, the disciples were free to do whatever they wanted. Even if they did not enter the school, the teachers would not bother taking care of them.

The main thing is that they pass the school exam. If not, they will only be expelled from school.

Since it was not yet time to return home, Rein returned to the school Dojo.

Arriving there, he immediately looked for a quiet place and sat down cross-legged.

If he remembered earlier, the moment he entered the simulation, time remained running normally and his body became silent and inactive. Rein had a plan in mind.

What if he did the Demon Breath meditation before entering the simulation? Wouldn't he still be cultivating even if his consciousness entered the simulation?

With such thoughts in mind, Rein immediately meditated using the Demon Breath Technique.

After that he ordered the system to enter the Combat Robot Training Simulation, and immediately his consciousness was sent to a place similar to the training ground in the Dojo.

On the other hand, his body in the real world was still in a meditative state.
