Simulation System

Simulation System
Chapter 32's

Two weeks went by quickly.

Rein is currently in the Individual Simulation.

The cling! The cling!

The sound of sword clashes resounded in the Simulation dueling room.

Rein backwards jumped backwards and landed beautifully on the black marble floor.

He narrowed his eyes and looked at the opponent who was in front of his eyes.

The somewhat fat figure of the man was staring at Rein coldly, his sword tip shining coldly as the somewhat fat man pointed his sword tip towards Rein.

The figure of this man was of course Gavi, the person who challenged Rein earlier.

In the past two weeks, Rein had focused more on training his Technique and making his body fuse with the Technique itself.

His cultivation level still lingered at Beyond Mortal Stage-8, and he did not raise his level.

This was because Rein wanted to hone his skills and fight Gavi using the Simulation System. And it just so happened that both of them were at the same cultivation level, so he did not want to waste this opportunity.

Although Rein could be said to have a high cultivation level, but his combat strength was not so high, it could even be considered weak.

In the past, Rein had only practiced techniques and cultivation by himself, and occasionally practiced with Viola. He rarely argued with others and resulting in his combat experience was his weakest aspect at the moment.

Although Gavi does look like a fake genius who uses abundant resources, but his true strength is not a joke.

Rein needs a lot of time to be able to argue with Gavi in a balanced way.

With the Gavi simulation, Rein was slowly improving his combat experience, and was no longer his weakest aspect at the moment.

"It seems I need another individual who can be saved into the System and practice here." Rein let out a heavy sigh.

He was superior when compared to ordinary disciples, but when compared to Gavi, his flaws stood out greatly.

Indeed high cultivation was not everything, maybe if he were to fight against people who had cultivation levels below him, he could defeat them with his high cultivation level, he said, but what if he fought a person who had the same cultivation level as him?

With this, Rein has been using Individual Simulations far more frequently in the past two weeks.

"Thank you, thanks to you, I was able to get a real fighting experience." Rein said softly.

Even though he knew Gavi in front of him had no consciousness and was like a Doll, he still thanked him.

"But that's it, you've reached the limit and can't increase my combat power any further."

After saying that, Rein set his foot on the black marble firmly, and instantly pushed his body to move swiftly and instantly appeared beside Gavi in an instant.

"It's over."

Rein attacked Gavi from the side with his sword, and Gavi's reflexes were also not slow, he directly carried the sword in his hand to block Rein's attack.

Seeing Gavi move to block his attack, Rein remained calm.

As the two swords clashed against each other, the sharp blade of Rein's sword shone with a faint purple light and instantly cut Gavi's sword in half!

Clangs!

The broken sword of Gavi floated in the air, and Rein's attack continued and attacked Gavi's abdomen.

Sraakkk!

Gavi's stomach is split apart by Rein's attack, and his body spouts colorful energy before Gavi's eyes become dim and lifeless.

[Host managed to defeat the opponent! Congrats! Hosts earn 1000 Points as a reward ]

Hearing the system announcement, Rein heaved a sigh of relief, he stood up and looked at Gavi's body which currently had cracks in his body and turned into colorful energy before disappearing in the air.

After training diligently for two weeks, he was finally able to defeat Gavi!

Not only that, even his strength had greatly increased by leaps and bounds!

When fighting Gavi before, he had not put all of his abilities into action!

"Get out of the simulation."

Rein gave the order, and soon his eyes became dim, and his consciousness returned to reality.

His body was in a meditative state, Rein opened his eyes calmly, and the aura in his body seemed to have a faint change after defeating Gavi.

"Open Profile menu."

Rein commanded in his mind.

Age: 17 Years

Cultivation Level: Beyond Mortal Stage-8

Energy: 1200/800

Body Techniques: Demon Fist Techniques (Master), Demon Gesit Techniques (Master), Demon Body Techniques (Beginner)

Sword Technique: Demon Sword Technique (Master), Silk Light Sword Technique (Intermediate)

Cultivation Technique: Demon Breath Technique (Master), Quiet Soul Technique (Intermediate)

Equipment: Not available

Simulation Systems: Training Areas (3), Individuals (2), Techniques (7), War Areas (0)

Points held: 1579

At first Rein looked at the system interface casually before he realized something was wrong.

"What the fuck? Why did my energy increase by 1200/800!?" Rein was surprised and asked the System in his mind.

[Host Power has passed the standard and subsequent breakthroughs will be much easier ]

"Just breakthrough is easier? There's nothing else?" Rein asked again.

[It proved the Host Foundation had exceeded the standard and the Host's strength exceeded normal cultivators in general ]

Seeing this, Rein was confused. He defeated a Gavi who had the same cultivation Level as him, did his strength really exceed that of a normal cultivator?

[The Individual Strength of Gavi is not simple. He was able to compete with the Beyond Mortal Stage-9 Cultivator on a balanced ]

Knowing Rein's doubts, the Host immediately answered his confusion.

Is there such a thing? Is that why he is so confident? Rein thought in his mind.

He had not been aware of this before because he did not know too much about the strength of a normal Stage 8 Beyond Mortal Cultivator.

"To what extent can Energy flourish? Is it limited to 1200/800?" Rein asked again.

[Energy just to show the foundation of Host cultivation has passed the standard, and there is no limit to the development of energy]

[The system advises not to be affected by this, because whatever happens, slowing down cultivation just to pursue a much higher foundation is not so useful ]

[Whatever happens, no one is perfect ]

[Exceeding the Standard limit is a good thing for Host cultivation, but it is not recommended to pursue it any further if Host is unable to increase it any more ]

[And the number 1200 indicates that the Host foundation has reached the True Master level ]

Rein read it carefully and frowned.

Indeed the foundation exceeds the standard is a good thing, but at the same time like a trap. The system showed this only to tell him that his foundation and strength had exceeded the standard, and reached another level.

And why is this a trap? This could have taken him down an endless path to pursue the foundation of cultivation. To whatever extent his foundation increased, in the end it only reached the standard of cultivation level above him, and he was able to achieve it when his cultivation was within that level.

Of course a cultivation foundation that exceeded the standard would bring a higher strength than a normal Cultivator after leveling up.

But as the system says, nothing is perfect.

If he were to pursue his foundation continuously, and wanted to be perfect, sooner or later, he would fall on an endless path without any development.

Exceeding the standard at Beyond Mortal level was indeed difficult, and to exceed the standard at the next level was much more difficult!

Each level of his cultivation rose, the harder he was to exceed the standard, so the system advised against being affected by this.

Taking a deep breath, Rein opened his eyes.

The system said if he was unable to increase his energy limit anymore, there was no need to insist about it.

But this also excited Rein!

If he practiced properly and vigorously, even though he did not directly aim to break the energy limit, wouldn't it be that if he practiced properly, his energy would break its own limits!?

There was no need to care about breaking the energy boundary, he only needed to focus on himself, and if he tried hard, there was still a chance he would break the energy limit!

Rein understood and accepted the System's suggestion, he didn't have to cling to breaking boundaries, he just needed to do everything with all his abilities.

If he used all of his abilities and was unable to cross the line, why would he fight for it longer?

And if he was able to cross the line after using all of his abilities, why would he care about breaking the boundary? Just focus on himself, and he can drop two birds with one stone!
