Chapter 37's

The fight continued for five minutes with no clear result.

Gavi was clearly suppressing Rein from time to time, but his attack was unable to injure Rein and only made him retreat.

One by one the audience finally realized that Rein was not a simple dodge. Surviving for 5 minutes in such a streak of attacks is not simple at all.

On the rooftop of the school building, not far from the dueling platform, were two adult male figures who were watching the battle of Gavi and Rein.

One of them was Master Suni who helped Rein earlier, and beside him was the principal of the Golden Nimbus Academy.

"What do you think?" The Headmaster asked Teacher Suni.

"Although the boy was not very prominent in this fight, but judging from how he controlled the path of the battle for these 5 minutes, it was quite feasible to give him the same treatment as Genius." Teacher Suni replied while holding her chin and smiling.

"What did Adoro say about the boy?" The Headmaster asked again.

"Adoro had previously told me that she was also not sure how to judge Rein. And after he trained with Rein for a few days, even though Rein was unable to fight Adoro head-on, he got more proficient and lasted a lot longer against Adoro." Teacher Suni replied.

After thinking about it for a while, Guru Suni added: "Adoro judged Rein's student to have excellent battle talent, he quickly learned how to deal with the enemy's attacks."

The principal was silent and did not immediately reply.

The reason Teacher Suni asked Adoro to train with Rein was not only to help her, but that was also to test Rein herself. It just so happened that there was one empty slot to go somewhere that would help the Academy Disciples increase their cultivation level.

Seeing how Rein had progressed over these few months, the school decided to give him a chance.

"He's practicing the Demon Technique right? What is the true form of his Demon body?" The Headmaster asked.

"I'm not so sure about his true form. When viewed from the outside, its true form bears a resemblance to the Demon Shape, but there are many fundamental differences between the two." Teacher Suni replied.

"Demon Body is just a name, and one of the strongest forms is the Demon Body. But during these several hundred years, many people had different true forms, even very far away from the Demon Essence.

"From the outside, he does look like he has the true form of a Demon Body, but as he moves, there are many differences with the Demon Body that we know of. Most likely it was a new true form he had discovered." The headmaster said softly.

The True Form of Demon was very unsuitable for dealing one-on-one with enemies, especially if the enemy had already locked his body. The effects of the Demon were greatly reduced.

But Rein was different, from the outside, he did look like he had a True Form Demon, which hid its fangs in the darkness. But when Rein fought, his Demon traits were nowhere to be seen.

The characteristics of the True Demon Body were that any attack that was issued would have great power, as if a Bomb had exploded the moment Rein placed his sword on the enemy's body.

However the Rein Attack was extremely restrained, there was no explosion of strength like a Demon, and Rein seemed to be immersed in a 1v1 battle situation that was extremely incompatible with the Demon Body.

"However, there is something unique about this child's True Form. I feel the aura coming out of his body has enveloped the opponent and helped him to understand the opponent's attack power and be able to dodge it unharmed." The Headmaster said.

Return to Duel Platform.

Rein and Gavi are still fighting, like a cat and a mouse.

At first Gavi was confident in his victory, but during this battle, he was unable to injure Rein in the slightest, he felt Rein was like a cockroach that was good at running and surviving.

"You're going to keep running like a rat!? If you're confident of dodging my attacks, try to avoid this one!" Gavi said in annoyance, and in an instant, the sword in his hand was immediately enveloped by the red flames.

Looking at the red flames enveloping Gavi's sword, Rein frowned.

It was a Spiritual Technique!

Only a True Master or a Genius was capable of unleashing such a Magical Technique at the level of Beyond Mortal.

The fire that enveloped the sword in Gavi's hand made his attack speed and power increase, even the distance of Gavi's sword attack would be much wider.

With this, Rein was unsure to continue dodging Gavi's subsequent attacks as his speed and attack range had expanded.

"Dead!"

Gavi quickly reached in front of Rein and waved the sword in his hand as a blazing fire tail followed behind his sword.

"There's no other choice." Rein muttered softly, and attacked Gavi's fire sword attack with his sword.

Booms!

Immediately an explosion occurred as the two swords collided with each other and resulted in dust and pebbles on the dueling Platform flying out.

For the first time, Rein managed to block Gavi's full attack and make his sword stop!

The Headmaster watching the battle narrowed his eyes, and looked at Rein's sword.

Right now, the sharp blade of Rein's sword was covered by the faint cyan energy.

The Cyan energy in his sword was extremely faint and weak, as if it would dissipate in the next second. Unlike Gavi's sword which was enveloped in a burning red flame and would never dim.

"He's..." Master Suni realized that there was a faint Cyan color enveloping Rein's sword.

"Yes, he used a Spiritual Technique. Although his Spiritual Strength was weak and did not meet the lower standards, but it was a fact that he used Spiritual Techniques." The Headmaster nodded and immediately confirmed that.

He looked at Rein with a surprised look in his eyes.

"Don't look at me in shock, even though I managed to withstand your attack right now, I have limited strength and can't use it repeatedly." Rein smiled slightly, after saying that, he immediately jumped backwards, and moved away from Gavi.

What he said before was the truth, he had spiritual power but was very small and limited. He could not use Spiritual Strength like Geniuses in general.

He could only use his Spiritual Strength in the right time and conditions.

Although he defeated Gavi in Individual Simulation, Simulation is still Simulation. The actions of Gavi in Simulation and in the real world are different.

In the Simulation World, Gavi instantly used powerful attacks, and Rein dodged every Gavi attack repeatedly, aiming to drain his energy.

But in the Real World, Gavi only uses Normal attacks, which take a while to drain his energy.

Although the script was different from the Simulation, Rein was still confident of his victory.

He had managed to waste a lot of Gavi's energy before, and he currently still had enough Spiritual Strength and far more than in Simulation!

"I underestimated you, but victory remains in my hands!" Gavi said confidently. The spiritual power in his body surged ferociously, and the red flames enveloping his sword grew stronger and fiercer.

Gavi drove forward quickly, towards Rein.

Unexpectedly, unlike before, Rein did not keep his distance at the moment, but he also advanced and went head-to-head with Gavi.

"Dead!"

As Rein was within 5 meters of him, Gavi slashed his sword forward and made an attack of fire energy charge forward, heading to where Rein was.

The flame incision quickly approached Rein, using his spiritual power, Rein coated his legs and hands using Spiritual power.

Rein carried his sword forward, and blocked Gavi's fire attack as his sword was enveloped with Cyan light.

Tsing!

Syuuuu ~

Rein split the Fire attack in half, as two fire blades passed through both sides of his body.

With Spiritual strength enveloping his feet, Rein immediately moved swiftly towards Gavi in an instant.

Seeing Rein coming towards him, Gavi grinned.

"Explosion!"

The fire that enveloped the sword in Gavi's hand grew increasingly fiery, and drowned Rein who had come near him.

"Sword River: Flow."

Rein said softly as the Spiritual Energy in both of his hands rushed up and enveloped his sword.

Ting!

Rein attacked the Gavi Sword that was blazing with fire with his sword, and in an instant, the flames that enveloped Gavi's sword disappeared.

Gavi was shocked when he saw the fire on his sword suddenly disappear. But he could not think of why such a thing could happen because Rein was already standing right in front of him.

"River: Explosion."

Rein muttered softly, and brought the hilt of his sword to attack Gavi's chest and create a burst of energy from the end of his sword hilt!

Booms!

Rein's sword handle struck the opponent's chest and sent Gavi into the air as a mouthful of blood shot out from within his mouth.

Gavi felt a sense of disbelief in his eyes as pain engulfed his body as a result of Rein's attack.

Thump!

Gavi's body fell flat on the floor of the dueling Platform, the sword in his hand had been thrown to the side, and he could not move his body at the moment.

"Done."

Rein sighed in relief and sheathed back his sword at his waist.

Everything happened so quickly, unable to keep up with what happened.

David sees Gavi lying on the floor of the platform and can no longer get up. Confused, he said one sentence with his mouth.

"The "winners of this duel are... Rein from Golden Nimbus Academy!"

Everyone immediately cheered and did not expect such an outcome!
