Mama's Plan

Radit just came out of Kinar's room in the early hours of the morning. Kinar was still sleeping as he exited the room, and as he closed the door of the room, he was startled by the presence of his Mother who stood across from him.

"What are you doing in Sister Kinar's room, Radit? Why did you come out early in the morning in his room? What have you guys done?" mother Sonia asked in succession, squinting her eyes at Radit.

"We're going to the living room, Ma! Call Papa, I'll come down after taking my side and explaining everything" Radit sighed. Yeah, it's time he talked it all out.

"soon!" sahut Sonia's mother turned around.

Radit exhaled. Walk to his own room to clean up. Ten minutes later he was tidy and fresher and ready to explain everything to his parents.

Radit sat on the sofa opposite the sofa where Mama and Papa sat.

"Explain!" said Mother Sonia flat.

Radit took a breath and exhaled slowly. He looked at his parents and started to open his voice.

"Me and Kinar were actually married last year in May, and Alan was our son. Now, I'm going to inaugurate our wedding at KUA and hold a reception" Radit said in a breath.

Doctor Ghifari remained relaxed-faced, while the flat-faced Mother Sonia stared at Radit.

"It's so easy for you to say that, Dit. Are we going to bless your relationship?" mother Sonia said with squeaking eyes.

"Why don't Mom and Dad have to respect our relationship?" ask Radit back.

"Because you're already married to Lilis, in the next two months you're getting married!" sahut Mom Sonia relax.

Radit growled in annoyance. What the hell is this Mama with that matchmaking intent.

"Ma, why did Mama set me up without talking to me first?" Radit looked at his Mama's annoyance, then turned his gaze to her Papa asking for an explanation.

"could. You yourself can do as you please yourself without telling us," said Sonia's mother snorted.

"Pa!" Radit turned to Doctor Ghifari.

"That's exactly what your mother said, Dit. You can cut your ties with Kinar and marry Lilis. We have agreed and your files have also been taken care of at KUA" Doctor Ghifari confirmed Sonia's remarks.

"What about Alan?"

"Alan will follow you anyway, right? Yeah, it's okay. Lilis is kind and willing to accept Alan as your child later," said Sonia's mother again cuek. Inwardly wanted to laugh to see Radit's bent face.

"Can't, Ma! I will still take care of my wedding file with Kinar and cancel the matchmaking with Lilis," said Radit annoyedly passed away from his parents.

"Jeez, Papa saw Radit's face? It's so tangled, isn't it, Pa? Whereas Semalem just got rations," said Sonia's mother tried to stop her laughter.

"Hush, Mama! Papa is not responsible if your daughter-in-law will run away from this Radit mock matchmaking event," said Doctor Ghifari shook his head to see his wife who was so happy with his ignorance.

"Just relax, Pa!" Sonia's mother commented on the smile full of mystery.

After a day of conversation with his parents at that time, Radit asked Mr. Beni to take care of his wedding files to KUA. However, what was conveyed by Mr. Beni made Radit feel frustrated.

"How, Sir?" radit asked Mr. Beni who met him in his study at the hospital.

"Sorry, Mas. KUA said, Mas Radit file has entered before, so it can not be processed to make another marriage card," replied Mr. Beni lowered his head, feeling bad to convey the news.

"Ba-how can?" radit said in disbelief.

"I don't know either, Mommy." Mr. Beni said condolences.

Radit knows that his mother doesn't play around saying that his wedding papers are taken care of. He did not stop thinking with the mind of his mother.

After returning from the hospital, Radit immediately met his mother who happened to be sitting relaxed on the front porch of the house.

"Ma, Mama actually took care of my marriage file with Lilis?" ask Radit without further ado.

"True, the time of lies." Sonia's mother said something.

"Ma, jeez! I can't marry Lilis, Ma. I can't let go of Kinar, I've fallen in love with him," Radit said in frustration.

"You're the only one who loves? The light is not love. Why do you marry someone who does not love you. Already, mending you marry Lilis. You've known each other since childhood, and you know each other's habits."

His mother's words made Radit speechless. Kinar loves her, right? The woman admitted it herself a few months ago in front of him. However, could that feeling wear off just because Kinar was angry at him? Seeing Kinar's attitude so indifferent to him also made Radit's confidence feel destroyed. Did Kinar survive in this house too just because of Alan's existence, or for himself as well? All of a sudden, it made Radit feel bad.

"You're not sure, are you? It's been. Kinar also has no intention to start a good relationship with you again. So, just accept your marriage to Lilis which is less than two months away," said Sonia's mother casually.

Radit doesn't say it anymore. Directly passed into the house with lethargic steps and the look of a cloudy face.
