Petuah Mas Jambul

The night breeze blew friendly to greet a sweet man who was sitting on the long bench of one of the angkringan. Waiting for the special menu that has been ordered but will not come. As usual, this angkringan owner always prioritizes other customers than the figure of the sweet man who is pensive. Mas Jambul is the nickname of the angkringan owner who is always crowded with visitors every night.

"Special round sword for Bang Dirga," said a shoulder-haired girl who is none other than the younger brother of Jambul. The girl was younger than Beatrice, her face sweet with two dimples printed clearly as she smiled.

"Thank you, Ran," said Dirga while smiling faintly to Ranti.

Yes, Jambul's real brother is named Ranti. After delivering Dirga's order, the sweet girl returned struggling with her work. While Mas Jambul looks busy concocting wedang round for other buyers. Dirga could only sigh when he saw that, as he had to patiently wait for the man of about thirty-eight years to bring out all the grunts that filled his heart.

"Bang Dirga, said Mas Jambul until told to wait a while. If you want to confide, you are told to eat a lot of quail egg satay first," said Ranti after returning to where Dirga is currently.

Mas Jambul and Ranti are from Pasuruan East Java. They wander in the capital for almost five years but the style of the sister's speech is sometimes still medok and jumbled with Javanese dialect.

"Your mother is always looking for profit." Dirga snorted annoyed after hearing a message from the Jambul mas that had just been delivered by Ranti.

"Yes, please understand, Bang. Now nothing is free. Go to the toilet now pay it up, from two thousand now to five thousand. Bayangin only if Abang to the tourist attractions continue to mules. Well spend that fifty thousand dollars if you go to the bathroom ten times."

Dirga gaped after hearing the insignificant remark of the girl sitting in front of him, "keep sitting here? Don't help your sister just let her finish her job quickly," asked Dirga while devouring her favorite quail egg satay.

"I was told Mas Jam nemenin Abang, let's not be lonely," replied the sweet girl without thinking long.

Angkringan Mas Jambul on the outskirts of this city is a place that is commonly used Dirga spend time at a time. Besides being cheap and tastes good, Dirga often spends time here to vent about life with the man who is commonly called the Jambul mas. Although his appearance looks strange because of his hairstyle, but Jambul mas is a wise man. He often gives advice or encouragement to Dirga about facing this increasingly complicated life.

"Ran, terno wedang rondene nang mejo corner. Ojok gelem loh nek digudo arek iku loh! (Ran, take the wedang ronde to the corner table. Don't want to be teased by that guy!)" tell Jambul when approaching his sister and Dirga.

"How many skewers have you finished, Ga?" tanya mas Jambul after sitting on a long bench near Dirga.

"Three, Mom." Dirga showed three skewers of quail eggs to Jambul mas.

"Hmmm ... If it's been out of three in a few minutes, then now you're upset?" guess the Jambul mas while looking at Dirga meaningfully.

"This topknot is actually an angkringan trader or shaman yes, how can I know how I feel?" seloroh Dirga while smiling knot.

"My family is descended from Kyai, Ga. Don't get this wrong of you! My mother in Nongko jajar Pasuruan there is famous. Moreover, Mr. Memet, my father is. hmmm no doubt!" answer me seriously.

"He was great because he could conquer my super fierce and scary mother," replied the original Jambul.

"What is Mas Jam's mother's name?" Dirga increasingly chuckles when following the joke from the Jambul mas.

"Raden Ayu Maningrum aka Ayunengseh." the answer uttered by Jambul managed to make Dirga laugh loosely.

The two men of different ages were endlessly laughing because there was just a funny thing that became the wetting of them both. Until finally Dirga remembered if he needed advice for his problem this time.

"Mas Jam, actually I was confused again," said Dirga with a face that turned serious.

"Eape again? Same problem girl wong sugih iku ta?" guess the Jambul while staring at Dirga.

Again and again Jambul like a shaman who can guess the sweet man's mind, "Mas Jambul learn where the hell do you know my complaint?" Instead of telling stories, Dirga was even provoked to discuss the unimportant thing again.

"So we're talking about which problem? Shaman problem or yours problem?" ask the Jambul.

"Okay better my current problem alone," replied the dirga while confirming his current sitting position.

In the end the sweet man told me everything he had been through today. Starting from spending time with Beatrice to how Soraya behaves to him. Dirga began to doubt his relationship with the crossbred girl who had been stealing his heart. She was afraid that her mother would not accept knowing how Soraya behaved.

"Already, Ga. Just follow my advice. I told you before, don't continue your relationship with him. Even though you two love each other, your economic status is much different" said Mas Jambul with a serious style of speech.

"But I love him so much, Mom." Dirga's answer is still the same as before.

"Sometimes the rich don't need sincere love. On average, they are more inclined to see the caste and property of his son-in-law. My advice is you better end your relationship with that crossbred girl. Moreover, you yourself already know how his mother's response, right?" Mas Jambul gave wise advice to Dirga.

"You better find something worth it, Ga. Your life is like heaven and earth, very much different," he said again, "my advice yes, mendingan you dating Ranti tuh, I'm blessed already. She's a good girl and hasn't been contaminated by the capital man." Mas Jambul raised his eyebrows while trying to match Dirga with his sister.

Dirga smiled faintly hearing the advice of this angkringan owner. Yes, for the time being he himself hesitated to continue this relationship to the marriage stage. Recalling the arrogant attitude Soraya had shown him. Dirga was afraid that someday Soraya's attitude would hurt his family's self-esteem.

"I'm confused, how. If it's like this I want to be a rich man so I can get the blessing of his mother Bea without dizzy thinking about the cost of marriage," muttered Dirga while taking a skewer of quail eggs.
