The challenge of Beatrice

The atmosphere of the apple green room felt stifling for Soraya. The widow of one child could only massage her temple when she heard Beatrice reveal all the reasons that made her want to marry Dirga. A classic reason commonly felt by girls of Beatrice's age. Her daughter did not think about what life was like after marriage. Only comfort and love are the main basis of the desire of the brunette girl.

"Bea, marriage is not just love. There is life going on and every day we need money to survive. Love won't make you full, honey." Soraya tried to explain the reality that was indeed happening.

"Dirga is not unemployed, Mama! He's a hard worker!" beatrice rebutted when she heard a lengthy explanation that had a core if Dirga was unable to finance it.

"Come, Bea! Think clearly" said Soraya. The expression on her face was holding back the rumble in such a big heart, "her mother is a widow and has one sister who is still in school. He means a backbone, Bea! His life burden is too much! Think about it one more time" Soraya said with eyes fixed on Beatrice.

"Mama's just afraid she's using you, baby! He took advantage of you and could one day leave you!" Soraya tried to influence her daughter's way of thinking, "there are now so many such terrible events! what if you experience KDRT as it is happening right now?" This time it seemed like Soraya was too exaggerated in imagining all about Dirga.

In Soraya's mind, Dirga only wanted to live a good life by utilizing all the facilities and luxuries that Beatrice had obtained so far. Soraya's mind was fixed there not without reason, because all she knew, life in the capital was very hard. Many people are looking for an instant way to feel the luxury and enjoyment of the world, for example is his own friend—Rahma— chose the path to become a mistress in order to enjoy a good life and fun. No, that is the rejection that exists in Soraya when imagining the fate of her daughter if with Dirga.

"Dirga is not that kind of man! He's a loving man, he's a patient man and certainly won't be able to do everything you're worried about!" beatrice said with widened eyes.

This debate will not be finished because the two have different opinions. Beatrice had expected that Soraya would not agree to her relationship with Dirga. The point of view of mother and child is very different. Beatrice never judged Dirga economically. Either this was the spaciousness of his heart or Beatrice was too naive to be blinded by love.

"Yes if indeed Mama does not believe in Dirga, Mama can really find out all about him!" challenge Beatrice as she folded her arms around her chest, "i think this conversation is over. I want to read a new book from Dirga," Beatrice concluded before turning her chair back to Soraya.

If it was like that, Soraya could let alone get out of this room. His daughter is no longer willing to continue this conversation. Soraya had to get out of the room because it was impossible for her to speak for herself, while Beatrice focused on her book.

"God! How's this!" Soraya pulled her hair back after coming out of Beatrice's room.

Soraya decided to go to her room. He had to think about all of this well in order not to be mistaken when making a decision. The request that was initially responded to was just a delusion, it turned out to make it dizzy. Especially after seeing for yourself how the figure of a man who became his daughter's lover. Really, that man was not a suitable category for Soraya to be her daughter-in-law.

"Basic to young people! It is thought that everything only uses love! So naive of you, Bea!" grouse Soraya after sitting on the edge of the bed—sit with a bent position while opening expensive black heels that adorn his legs.

For Soraya to choose seedlings, bebet and good weights are the first things to do before marriage. Life sufficed from birth to the present made Soraya think twice if allowing the only daughter of her puppet should marry a simple man like Dirga. Indeed, Soraya could not imagine how the fate of her daughter would be if she lived with a man who had many dependents.

"It can't be allowed!" Soraya shook her head slowly as she imagined Beatrice sitting on a motorbike feeling the hot weather, exposed to dust and air pollution of the capital.

Soraya laid her body on the bed, while her legs were left dangling on the floor. He stared at the ceiling of the room with that luxurious design while thinking about how his steps were after this. Being a single parent when the child is growing up is not young. So Soraya thought at this moment.

"Do I have to find out about that guy?" he muttered after recalling the challenge from Beatrice, "then I have to find out where?" Soraya continued to think until her head felt throbbing.

Perhaps, the first time Soraya had to do was find out where her daughter's lover was staying. Then, he must find out what Dirga's job is besides being a Barista. He also has to find out what his mother's job is and how the ins and outs of the sweet-faced man.

"I can't do all this myself! I need a friend to figure it all out!" murmured Soraya with the eyeballs moving left and right.

The longing for her late husband suddenly greeted me inwardly at a time like this. Soraya imagines how wonderful it would be to spend the day with her husband as Beatrice grows up. If only Francesco Rojas was still beside him, it was certain that he would not be this busy, because it was unlikely that he would bring his daughter to move to this country.

"French! Why did you have to leave me so soon anyway! Look at! Your daughter is a grown up and very stubborn like you! He's making me dizzy, Frans!" soraya said when she saw the family photo stuck on the wall of her room.

The faces of his three best friends suddenly flashed in memory. Soraya immediately rose from her current place and searched for where her cell phone was. He had to contact his three friends for advice and help.

"Ah, it seems like I should share this matter in the group alone rather than having to send messages one by one to them," Soraya murmured as her eyes read the group chat 'Warung dimang' there.
