A Handful of Hope, though,

Dirga stepped near the sedan car belonging to the middle-aged man earlier. He opened the hood and began to observe. While the man illuminated it using a flashlight from a mobile phone. "How, Deck? What's the problem?" tanyakanya.

Dirga did not answer immediately. He carefully observed the car's engine, before explaining it to the man. "I'm trying to help, sir," said Beatrice's lover.

"Can. While waiting for the tow truck service," said the man. He continued to direct the light from his phone towards the engine of the car being tinkered with by Dirga. It took almost thirty minutes, for the twenty-five-year-old man to finish his work. After trying several times, finally the car that broke down was able to return to life.

"Well, thank God," said the middle-aged man relieved. "Fortunately my home is not far from here. May it be strong until home." A wide smile was clearly visible on his lips.

"Hopefully don't strike again, sir. However, it would be better if taken directly to the workshop to check the whole," suggested Dirga.

"Yes, Deck. It just so happens that it has been very busy lately. My personal chauffeur had just recovered from illness. Oh yeah, hold on a second." The middle-aged man took out a wallet from the back pocket of his trousers. He seemed to be taking several pieces of money in fifty thousand. He gave the money to Dirga. "It accept. Think of it as a sign of my gratitude" he said.

While Dirga just stood glued. He saw that there were about four pieces of blue money being offered by the man. At least, Dirga had to come four times to Asisudin's ornamental fish shop. He also had to sell eight photos of his shots, to be able to get that much nominal.

Dirga smiled calmly. He then nodded slowly. "No need, sir. I don't sell services for that" Dirga subtly declined.

"Not what, Deck. Just accept. I sincerely give this to Adek. Think of this as a sign of gratitude" the man said forcefully.

"I also sincerely help you," Dirga replied politely.

"It's okay, Deck. I'm not good because it's been a hassle." The middle-aged man was still pushy.

"No, Sir. No need to." Dirga still refused, making the man look disappointed. However, shortly afterwards he returned to pick something up from inside his wallet. A business card for the man was offered to Dirga.

"Then accept this. You can contact me if you need help. Coincidentally, I just opened a new branch company. Maybe there are relatives or anyone who knows Adek who wants to join, maybe once."

Dirga was silent for a moment. He then read a card bearing the name of Sudiro Hadiwinata. Underneath it is a company name that is already quite famous. As far as Dirga was concerned, it was a textile factory with thousands of employees.

"How is it for any position, sir? It just so happens that I also do not have a permanent job," asked Dirga half-expectedly.

"The "financial accountants and marketing section happens to have no occupying. Many have sent a cover letter but the interview time has not been in accordance with the provisions of the company," said Sudiro while staring at Dirga.

The twenty-five-year-old was like getting a breath of fresh air in the middle of the night. Because the company owned by Sudiro opened a job vacancy in accordance with what he learned while sitting in college a few years ago. Dirga is a pretty good accountant. But because of the tough competition in the midst of economic hardship makes him eliminated. As a result he had to end up being a barista and take on some side jobs.

"It just so happens that I was in economics, sir. Can I apply at your company?" asked Dirga enthusiastically. He really hoped that this time luck would side with him.

"certain. Please Adek send an application to my company. If you come there, just show this business card to the officer in front. I'll assess how Adek's quality directly." Sudiro patted Dirga on the shoulder with a sweet smile.

"Good, Sir. Thank you for the ease you gave me." There was great hope emanating from the look in Dirga's eyes after hearing Sudiro's explanation.

"Oh yeah, whose name is Adek?" asked Sudiro after finishing business with the tow truck he ordered.

"Dirga, Sir. My full name is Dirga Aditya" Dirga replied without taking a look from the middle-aged man's face.

"Well, if you can tomorrow afternoon come to my company, because the interview will be conducted at the main company. I hope you come on time."

Such was the message from Sudiro before leaving in front of Dirga. The middle-aged man immediately got into the car and shortly after, the car he was driving began to leave Dirga who was pecking at his place.

"Then I have to prepare everything tonight as well" Dirga muttered after sitting on his bike.

The twenty-five-year-old finally returned home with a handful of hopes for his future. Of course Dirga hopes to be accepted in the company in order to improve the economic situation of his family. A few tens of minutes later, the motorbike driven by Dirga finally reached his yard. The door of the house was opened after Dirga arrived at the terrace.

"Where did you just get home at this hour?" Dirga's arrival was welcomed by Astuti. The middle-aged woman could not sleep well if Dirga had not come home.

"Yes, Mom. It was done helping people on the road" Dirga replied as he walked past Astuti. He decided to sit in the living room first before going to the room and preparing all the interview needs at Sudiro's company.

"Is there an accident?" astuti asked after closing the door. He sat in the living room with Dirga.

"No, Ma. There was a car on strike" Dirga replied, staring at Astuti at a glance. After that, he told about the incident that he had experienced to make Astuti smile happily.

"Alhamdulillah .. I hope you are accepted, son. I'm glad to hear this good news." It is undeniable that the widow of two children is very hopeful that Dirga is accepted in the company.

Astuti gave some advice to Dirga to always maintain the attitude even though he has a deep path from the owner of his company. Astuti's smile continued to expand because of this good news.

"I'll go to the room first, Mom. There are a lot of documents that I have to prepare for tomorrow," said Dirga before passing from the living room.
