Soul Change
It's Alright

Maulana was already home, but there was no sign of Stefani inside. He tried to contact her several times, too bad not to be picked up. But he told himself not to think badly. Azzam was just an ordinary boy, nothing bad would happen to his sister.

Maulana picks up her phone after touching the dial to Stefani's number. The car he knew belonged to Mahardika was seen stopping in front of the house. He wondered why his boss was following him. The work break is not over yet and Maulana is confident that she can get to the office before Mahardika returns too.

From the passenger door next to the driver, his sister came out surprisingly. Maulana's forehead so wrinkled for a moment, completely unexpected. He waited until Stefani nearby looked questioningly at his sister. “You can explain what really happened to me?”

“Kakak can ask a friend of Brother only. He's so annoying!”

Maulana always complained about Mahardika openly or secretly, but Stefani could not complain about the unknown Mahardika. They only met a few times and didn't talk much. Although he realized the strangeness of his friend's attitude in recent times.

“Come to go now!” take Mahardika who just got out of the car and stay standing there.

“Wait! Where did you find my sister?” ask Maulana.

“Ah .. she is eating with Azzam. Then because I thought you'd get home and start making fun of it all over the street, I took it home.” Mahardika explained what was done.

He had thought it through hard and could find no other reason at all. What Mahardika does is only help her, no more and no less. So Maulana can only trust Mahardika at this time.

He saw Mahardika jerking the car door, re-entering. The car's glass came down and Mahardika's head was seen in front. “Come back! Lunch time is running out!” exclaim the Maulana boss.

“Go first. I'm gonna go inside and see how Stefani is. He seems very upset! You didn't do anything other than take her home, did you?” Maulana added a verb meaning a suspicion, seeing Mahardika's reaction.

“You're accusing me of doing bad things to your sister? Just be right!” Mahardika looked annoyed, but not her face.

Of the things that Maulana believed, one of them was that Mahardika did not lie about this.

Maulana noticed Mahardika's car driving away from the gate of her house. After not looking at the back of the car that went away, he turned his gaze at the door. He goes in and calls Stefani who has been missing since then into the house.

Unfortunately, Maulana's sister did not reply at all. It was as if he did not want to meet anyone. Maulana can't give up on her sister now. She could not back down and left Stefani alone if she was upset.

“Stefani! Can you come out for a minute, I want to talk to you!” Maulana.

Maulana moved away from the door leaf a step as she heard footsteps from inside. He waited patiently and the door swung open. “What's up, Brother?” ask Stefani.

His face showed no irritation at all. But what about her heart, Maulana had no idea. So he had to make sure that his sister was not upset let alone hated him.

Just helping, huh? All righty! No problem!” Stefani seems annoyed at Mahardika. “I'm fine, Brother, I'm working on some report tasks now.” This time he gave an answer to what Maulana was asking.

“I'm sorry!” Maulana looked down unable to look Stefani in the eye directly.

What if his apology is rejected. Things like rejection can be very painful. However, he had not done many painful things to Stefani before. Especially what can happen now.

“For what?” ask Stefani.

Maulana raised her head, a little heavy to explain to her sister what mistakes have been made so far. What is certain is that one of them is to keep Stefani away from the problems that should be faced. Whatever the reason for his actions, it looked like a fabrication.

“To make you feel uncomfortable all this time. I made a mistake and I'm sorry.”

Stefani took a deep breath. “I also apologize to Brother. I didn't mean to make Brother think much. I'm just saying that what you've been doing all this time is wrong with me. That's it.”

Maulana nodded slowly. “So, we make up now?” ask Maulana.

“Ya!” answer Stefani. “Can I go back inside and finish my report task?” ask Stefani carefully.

Maulana smile. His feeling was relieved. “Ya!”

His feelings are getting better now. Along the way everything felt easier than ever and Maulana whistled in pleasure. He greeted all the office staff he met. Most of them were astonished and the others barely cared.

“Wah, this is amazing! Your battery is fully charged after seeing your sister?” asked Mahardika who became one of the astonished people.

“Why? No can? Basic single child!”

Mahardika grinned in annoyance, dropped herself noisily onto the swivel chair and began to finish all her work.

Maulana approached her boss to check a little and was shocked that Mahardika quickly finished her report without any mistakes. “I don't know what happened to you, but this is a surprise?” maulana said honestly.

Mahardika pulled the file that was being worked on earlier and put it back on the table. “Same as you, I'm already feeling fine now!” the answer.
