What was actually talked about by his daughter and Handoko's little employer? The food on his plate is gone. Her stomach is full but becomes very uncomfortable with Daisy's unusual facial expression.
“It seems that was a serious talk?” Daisy's friend Maya says while riding her chin. His gaze leads to Daisy and Stefani standing quite far from outside the cafe.
“Of course, he said this about the bullies who had disturbed Stefani at that time! I'd like to know, but this is definitely the thing that was talked about in person.” Azzam who was also sitting there chimed in.
Handoko washes her hands and pulls the napkin that is available in the box. “Mr will be there to check!” handoko.
Just as he stood up from the seat. Stefani appears to be spouting anger at Daisy and leaves. The little Handoko master turned his head towards the cafe and smiled as if nothing had happened. That Daisy's anger is normal, there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
Daisy quickly approaches Handoko inside the cafe. He took a deep breath and still smiled.
“It seems that girl is not at all grateful for your help, Daisy!” Maya clutches herself. His face looks bad. The look in his eyes was still staring at Stefani disappearing earlier.
“No! He was always like that whether happy or sad! Right, right, Sir?” Daisy asks Handoko for help to do something about the other person's allegations.
“Ya-yep! That's so!”
Handoko does not understand why Daisy tries to make Stefani's impression on others. He knew his son was rarely friendly to anyone. It was a mistake that Handoko could not deny.
“Then, let's go back to class, Maya! It was possible that one of the asdos had already entered by now to hand over the task. Otherwise we can go home! You brought a car?” ask Daisy.
“Yapc. Come!” Maya takes her bag and slips it in the chest. “I brought a car! So no need!” turn him down on a rare offer to drop Daisy off.
Daisy nodded, picking up her own sweet black bag of straps. Maya had already gone to the parking lot followed by Handoko. While Daisy still remains in the cafeteria paying for their entire meal.
“You know everything about campus cafes, huh? That's something I didn't expect at all!” Azzam waits for Daisy while paying.
“Do you think I am a magical creature who never set foot on the ground?” Daisy sounds pretty upset. Azzam has been commenting like that ever since. It feels annoying to constantly hear yourself being underestimated.
“I didn't mean to offend you!”
“You've offended me!” answer Daisy. He has completed the payment of all food and drinks.
“Talking with Stefani didn't go well, huh?”
“It's not like that!”
“You can't lie! I saw! If you're familiar, the way he talks won't be like that!” Azzam said quietly, turning his head out of the cafe feeling a bit awkward. “I'm really sorry!”
Daisy knows that Azzam likes Stefani. But now Daisy feels it is time for Azzam to move on. Stefani's current attitude will only make good men like Azzam feel sick. He did not want Azzam to feel a huge heartbreak. But Daisy said it.
“Why? Is there something on my face? You've been looking at him since!” Azzam began to misbehave because Daisy had been looking at him closely.
“Azzam can I say something a little brash to you?” ask Daisy.
“What?”
“Please, release Stefani now!”
Prangs!!
Azzam nudged the table nearby in shock. The glass on the table hanging on the coasters collided with each other and made a loud noise. Azzam's face turned pale hearing that. It was as if Stefani had just told this young man that the world was about to end.
“I must have heard something wrong here!” Azzam laughing. Maybe to calm himself.
How could Azzam not hear what Daisy said. They were alone in the cafe and it seemed that the other classes were not finished so there was no sign that the other students and students would go inside.
“You heard the right thing, Azzam. I'm asking you to stop chasing Stefani! Give yourself time now!”
Silent. Even Azzam froze in front of Daisy. Then the man paced for a while and before long he looked at Daisy with a gaze full of anger. “What do you know about my feelings? You show up and suddenly tell Stefani to let go! He didn't say anything, why did you bother?”
Daisy sighed. He knew that letting go of someone was not easy. It took Daisy years to let go that her father would no longer expect Daisy. But in his case it was about family. Unlike Azzam who likes strangers.
“Azzam, I said this because I don't want you to get hurt!”
Azzam's face flushed. “I will feel the pain, why do you bother to take care of it! I'm sorry, Daisy but you're outrageous!” Azzam stomped his feet like a child and then turned away.
Daisy's gaze was only able to accompany Azzam's departure until the young man disappeared at the turn.
