Soul Change

Soul Change
Who's the Afflict? (1)

Daisy sees Maulana's forehead wrinkled, but doesn't want to ask what the man is thinking. Because he might be able to guess the character who made all these things happen. But that's not necessarily true.

“What does Brother think?” ask Daisy. He glanced at Maulana's glass that was still fully filled. He did not have time to go to the cafe next to the department building earlier, or drop off food with Andien because all the events were so fast and felt so annoying.

“You can drink it!” tell Maulana while shuffling the glass in front of Daisy. “What is Miss Daisy doing?”

Although Stefani is in Daisy's body now, there is a possibility that she will suddenly return to her own body. So it's kind of doubtful that Stefani, who's in Daisy's body, designed something bad that could hurt herself.

“I don't think that Miss Daisy would take advantage of others like that.”

“You are right too! Miss Daisy was not educated like that!” Maulana gave her opinion. “Then is there anyone else you suspect?”

Daisy nodded slowly. He then took a deep breath. His waist was still hurting and he wanted to lie down. “Not yet I think, Brother!” said Daisy. He rubbed his waist slowly. He had to lie down to feel better.

“I held you down for too long. Sorry, let's take you to the room. You have to rest!” said Maulana who stood up. “If it still hurts when you wake up later, tell me or Dad. You need treatment not just rest.”

“Ya!” Daisy did not argue because it was what was needed.

He received Maulana's helping hand and walked slowly to his room in the middle of the room. Arriving at the door, Daisy is released.

“Kakak will go pick up Dad! You stay in the room! Since it seems like one of us will not be able to cook, Big Brother will buy a meal outside. You want something?” maulana asked Daisy.

Daisy thought for a while then decided to try something. “Kwetiau fried, not spicy!” His message.

Maulana nodded and then stroked Daisy's head. Then he went to his room first, put down his bag. As Daisy enters the room, Maulana passes through the front of her room without any weight on her back.

As soon as Daisy was alone, she was very relieved. He can think clearly now. This day he wished he could think calmly about what caused him to return to his original body earlier. However, let alone thinking, he was faced with another problem.

“Why is it getting harder!” the protest was unclear to whom.

Daisy slowly lowered herself to sit on the bed. The softness and suppleness of the bed received it carefully. Until before being attacked by the three girls, Daisy still has not found what is different on the day she returned to her own body. Now that's the case. She was afraid that she would be in Stefani's body forever. He doesn't want to imagine it.

Daisy threw herself on the bed, rolled over and pulled a pillow into her lap, then sobbed in fear. Long Daisy was in that position until she fell asleep. This time Daisy wasn't dreaming.

Maulana waited anxiously in front of the gate. His father had sent a message when he arrived at the gate. However, Maulana had already been here for fifteen minutes. Let alone her father, the shadow of the man who raised her and Stefani was not there.

Intend in his heart to follow his father into the house. But, the feelings of reluctance were greater since they decided to try to separate her and the only sister. How could it be, the man who had a girl also made such a bad decision. Luckily, he had savings from his job.

“Loh, Maulana! Since when is it here?”

The guards guarding the gate appeared while laughing widely approaching Maulana. He patted Maulana's shoulder hard as an appreciation of pride. Then he noticed that the thing he did only made Maulana even more upset.

Maulana nodded without a smile on her face. “Kok Dad hasn't come out yet, sir? He said it was in the message already in front!”

It was already in front! But then your father was called back inside!” The security guard told me while looking up at the sky. I don't know what he's seeing right now.

“Why be called inside again? It's already afternoon. Miss Daisy must have come back from college because Dad sent me a message.”

The guard's shoulder was raised, meaning he knew nothing but what he described earlier. Then Maulana thought that there was no other choice for her than to go inside the house and find out for herself.

Just as his intention was floating to the surface, a small door beside the security guard post opened and from there Handoko, Maulana's father appeared. He looked tired of the other invisible burdens. It wasn't just fatigue that caused the frown on the forehead of the man who had already raised himself and Stefani.

“There are other problems, Dad?” maulana asked in curiosity.

The man gasped a little and smiled at Maulana. “Nothing! Just extra work?”

“What?”

Maulana got no answer. So Maulana just gave the helmet that was brought to her father. He waited until the father climbed on the motorcycle seat in the back and just turned the handlebars of the motor so that the vehicle sped off on the road. From the rearview mirror Maulana can see the security guard waving, calling farewell along the way. Maulana just waved back without saying anything.

“So, why was Dad called in again?” ask Maulana.

“Have Dad said there was nothing.”

Maulana let out a slow breath, watching the streets closely. He then moved the lane to the left and then stopped near a small park that had a seat on the edge.

“Why stop here? Let's go back, Stefani's alone, right?” ask Handoko.

He got off as Maulana got off the bike and sat on a park edge chair directly adjacent to the road.

“There's something I want to say to Dad, so we'll stop here for a while. Anyway the place that sells fried kwetiau that Stefani wants is not yet open.”

“What's up?” Handoko looked curious as Maulana was when she heard her father being called back after work.

“Stefani seems to be getting in trouble on campus! He came home with some injuries.”

The information made Hadoko stand up straight away. He seemed to be able to run home with all his might. However, he was pulled back to sit by Maulana. “Quiet first, Dad! Free Dad came home and asked Stefani. It was hard to get him to confess.”

“Ke-napa?” tanya Handoko stutters.

“He thinks he can solve it himself!”
