Soul Change

Soul Change
Fix (3)

When she first meets the man, Daisy remembers her father. Even today Daisy remembers her father instantly. But, compared to his papa, papi Mahardika is more humane. Just look at how he treats his wife who has experienced lost memory.

“What's so early?” ask Papi Mahardika while entering the dining room.

Mami Mahardika only smiled at her husband's question. The woman flips the unopened plate and adds the food to the top of the plate immediately.

“Are you not having lunch at home again today?” ask Mami Mahardika.

“Yes, there are still many things to take care of before we go. Mahardika won't be able to take care of it herself later!” papi Mahardika said while sitting in his chair. “So, what's up, Daisy?”

“Nothing, Om, just want to visit because it has been a long time!” daisy answered with a smile.

Daisy is somewhat grateful for the arrival of Papi Mahardika, because the efforts of the woman who had given birth to the fiancee were stopped on the spot. He does not eat foods that he does not like.

“Om think you guys are fighting again! It wasn't long before Mahardika did anything bad to you, right? If something like that happens again just say to OM, will Om make sure that Putra Om regretted making you cry!”

“Thank you, Om, but I've been okay since that day. Now I feel like everything is fine.”

Because it had been several days Daisy was in her own body and for that long there was absolutely no sign of soul exchange anymore.

“Then let's have breakfast first! You didn't go to college this morning?”

Daisy nodded slowly. “Today there is no lecture schedule, Om!”

Silence covers breakfast at Mahardika's house. Daisy wondered why since then, Mahardika did not help her in answering all the questions. It turned out that the man was concentrating with the food in front of him.

Mahardika finished with her breakfast and waited quietly until Daisy was done as well. As soon as Daisy puts down her spoon and glances at Mahardika, the man winks.

“You can go first!” papi Mahardika. He still enjoys breakfast with his wife.

“Thank you for breakfast, Auntie, so good!”

Mami Mahardika nodded excitedly. “Come here often yes, Daisy! Mahardika often breakfast in the office!”

Daisy nods and promises to stop by as often as her mother Mahardika requests. When Daisy was well-meaning, Mahardika was standing waiting at the dining room door. Mahardika waits until Daisy is quite with herself and just starts walking. They went to the main door.

“Mas Dika has not yet left for the office, right?” ask Daisy to know.

The man next to him was still wearing sweatpants and a shirt that seemed to have been seedy. Where is the usual known dapper man.

Mahardika acted as if checking the watch, but there was nothing on the man's wrist. Daisy laughed at him.

“What the hell, Mas?” ask Daisy.

“I'm looking at whether there is still time until before leaving for work to accompany you? Ah, it seems there are still many. Maulana will not mind being told to prepare a meeting by herself at 11.”

Daisy's eyes narrowed. “That's called labor exploitation! Been legal!”

“Ah, I will tell Brother Maulana if I cannot exploit my fiancee when I meet later!” daisy's Promise.

Mahardika laughed hearing that. He then stopped in the middle of the garden where they were walking, looking at the unfinished plants planted.

“Your face did not look good? What happened?” ask Mahardika.

“Papa is getting excited to approach me! Mas, did Papa plan something again this time? I have absolutely no problem as long as Papa doesn't try to tease me. How come it feels so unpleasant when Papa keeps coming and trying to talk to me!” said Daisy.

“Maybe Om Ibnu just want to try to fix his relationship with you Daisy!” Mahardika thought logically. Too logical in fact.

Daisy was silent, looking at the petals of the flower that would bloom not far from where she and Mahardika stood. “What I don't think is too late. It has been eight years and during that time Papa has not thought at all to improve the relationship. Instead he encouraged Aunt Aida to get closer to me!”

“Ah, you asked about the market earlier, right?” Mahardika reopens the problem about Aida that Daisy met in front of the market. “Who is going to the market? One of your housemaids? Or do you want to try to go to the market?”

Daisy. “Not me, but I saw Aunt Aida in the market. More precisely I saw Aunt outside the market. He was not alone, there was a tattooed man with him back then!”

“Maybe Aida's Auntie friend. His age is not young and the possibility of him indeed having such eccentric friends also exists. Not that you yourself said that Aunt Aida bukar came from a family like your mama.”

“I know you shouldn't suspect! But, I suspect many things since exchanging souls with Stefani!” Daisy felt she could no longer keep everything to herself.

“Papa and Aunt Aida used to date back at SMA.”

Daisy did not dare to look towards the mahadrika. He was frightened by the surprised look on Mahardika's face. An expression that confirmed: It is only fitting that the two men marry her.

“Where did you know about this? Someone told you, right?” mahardika asked, her voice was still the same as before, flat. It's as if Daisy's fiance is not interested in Papa Daisy's facts.

“Pak Handoko and Papa used to be friends at school. When I became Stefani, Mr. Handoko asked his daughter who was then me not to disturb Daisy. He said he knew Papa and Aunt Aida. He also recounts the shock of Papa getting married shortly after Mama died.”

Mahardika is a good listener. Not a single bit of the man tried to interrupt what Daisy was telling me.

Mr. Handoko said that he did not think Papa would marry Aunt Aida. He said, I must have been hurt because of that fact!”

Daisy quit. He doesn't want to tell me anything else. That fact doesn't make him okay. Suddenly, Daisy felt like she was making a mistake.

“You don't have to force yourself to tell me if you don't want Daisy!” Mahardika.

“I'm sorry, Mas Dika!”

Mahardika laughs when she hears Daisy apologizing. Indeed what have you done to me so you apologize, stupid!” the man said loudly. “Not many people are as strong as you Daisy! After all, even if you tell me, nothing has changed!”

What Mahardika said was true.

“Now, you just have to let your papa come a little closer! Hang in! Maybe he finally realized Daisy's mistake. Better late than never, right?”

If only Daisy felt a little better to hear that statement. But Daisy is still not okay.
