Leo's Plan

The next day Rani and Jihan meet Leo on purpose. But Rani had already sent Leo a message to make an appointment.

{Leo, tomorrow we meet at Cafe Lestari yes. Rani.}

Soon after, Leo answered the message.

{What's Rani?} ask Leo wonder.

{There's something we should talk about.} replied Rani.

The curious Leo immediately sent another message.

{If you can know, about what yes..}.

{Tomorrow we tell the story, the important thing is that you come alone tomorrow. Do not bring your friends yes.}

Leo was astonished by Rani's request that he come alone.

Suddenly Leo was afraid because he had expected that what Rani would talk about was about Jihan.

While sitting on his bed Leo thought for a while. He had to prepare his answer when tomorrow was asked about Jihan's matter. Cold sweat began to pour all over his body from feeling fear. He then turned on the AC in his room to remove the sweat that had been pouring. Although tonight is not too hot but Leo's shirt is wet with sweat.

‘This definitely has something to do with Jihan, or maybe Jihan is pregnant. What should I do if Jihan gets pregnant and holds me accountable while I'm going to Jakarta for college. If this happens then my future will be ruined because I will have to take responsibility for Jihan's pregnancy. Jihan's pregnancy made me fail to go to college in Jakarta. I better avoid it and say that I did not do it especially when Jihan was dizzy not self-conscious. There's no way he'll remember that. I can lie to him and say that I didn't. But what if there's evidence that incriminates me so I have to admit it, Leo's inner’ is in my heart.

Then Leo smiled with satisfaction thinking about the plan that will be done tomorrow if he met with Rani. ‘If indeed Jihan holds me accountable I am okay. I'll be responsible for the important thing Jihan wants to convert to Christianity. If she doesn't want to convert to Christianity then I won't be responsible for her pregnancy. I'll be able to get out of this problem,’ inner Leo again.

After a moment of silence, Leo began to feel calm because his plan had been carefully arranged from now on.

Since the twelfth grade had already finished the final exam then they had no longer come to school. The next day at exactly eleven o'clock in the afternoon Leo had arrived at Cafe Lestari. After five minutes of waiting, Jihan and Rani arrive at the cafe. They go in and look for Leo.

After looking to the right and left Jihan and Rani find Leo who is sitting alone at table number ten. Coincidentally table number ten is located close to the fish pond so that the atmosphere looks beautiful and calm. From far away, Leo was sitting alone while watching the fish in the pond.

“That's it, Jihan. Let's go there,” said Rani immediately pulled Jihan's hand and brought her closer to Leo.

Seeing the arrival of Jihan and Rani, Leo was surprised because he was cool to see the fish in the pond.

“Leo...” call Rani.

Leo, who was surprised to hear Rani's voice, turned to Rani.

“Eh, you have come,” said Leo and did not seem to dare to look directly at Jihan's face.

He only looked towards Rani then turned his gaze in the other direction. It is clear that Leo's face began to pale when he saw the arrival of Jihan and Rani.

With flat faces Jihan and Rani take a seat right in front of Leo. The three were silent for a moment. Everyone played in their minds. Seen from the look on the face of Leo and Jihan are both very tense to make Rani lured to open her voice.

“You know Leo what purpose we took you to meet here today?” tanya Rani started to open the conversation.

Leo could only shake his head. He pretends not to know the purpose of Rani and Jihan invites him to meet.

Leo who felt guilty pretended to be surprised to hear Rani's words just now.

“What do you mean Rani?” ask Leo.

Rani immediately smiled so that the atmosphere was not too tense.

“You don't strain like this Leo. Just relax...”

“I'm not tense. What's wrong?”

“Alright I'll tell you now. Try to remember what you did to Jihan a month ago while celebrating the birthday party Yuni.”

Leo who already knew the direction of the conversation to there pretended to be dumbfounded and did not remember it. He deliberately did that in order to get out of this problem.

“Me and Jihan purposely met you to see your honesty. Now you are telling the truth because however Jihan is ready to accept the consequences if you are not responsible,” Rani said again.

Leo just kept quiet listening to Rani. In her little heart she felt guilty for taking away Jihan's chastity.

Because there was no answer from Leo, Rani finally continued her words.

“Well if you don't remember what happened that night. But you know the consequences of your behavior at that time? Now Jihan has conceived your child.”

Rani says Leo is surprised. Suddenly his body felt limp because he could not imagine the most feared thing had actually happened.

“You mean Jihan's pregnant?” leo asked in disbelief.

“Can you ask directly to Jihan.”

Jihan could only lower her head. He felt annoyed and sad and angry with the attitude of Leo who pretended not to know.

“You remember that incident, right?” rani asked again with annoyance.

Leo still remained silent not answering Rani's question made Rani even more upset. Jihan had only been silent since earlier withstanding the turmoil in her heart that was so upset with Leo's attitude.

“If you don't remember the incident, it's okay. But we have evidence about it that could incriminate you if this problem we demand,” said Rani.

Leo who was afraid of the threat of Rani finally began to open his voice.

“Alright I'll admit it. Now I admit I was the one doing it.”

Jehan who was already burning emotions immediately got up from his seat and slapped Leo's face very hard to make Leo surprised. But Leo was silent because he realized that he was guilty of this.

“You coward Leo!” jihan said while crying.

Rani instantly pulled Jihan's body and took her sitting back.

“You're patient, Jihan. Now we've found out who did it. It is up to him to admit your child or not that important now we already know who the real culprit,” said Rani while insinuating Leo.

Leo could only bow his head in regret. The atmosphere of silence returned as the three played with their respective minds.
