14. The Disturbing Mind

"True, huh? why am I so bothered by that? Like not me.?"

Presumably Darren thought about Lucas' words, because his attitude now was like he was not his usual self. However, even though he was aware of it, it still made him stuck to the expression made by the woman he had just met.

"I don't know him, but he really bothers me?" The bath is still curious and disturbed by it.

Darren recalled the expression made by the woman he did not even know. Somehow his body reacted when it saw his angry expression back then, until it subconsciously chased him out. And when he tried to approach her, he was quite surprised to see the woman crying, even giving a sad look at her.

"Let's go in, the others must be looking for your whereabouts." Take Lucas to Darren who is still reluctant to leave and is still swept away on his daydream. "Are you still thinking about that woman?" Lucas said, again talking to Darren who was still silent.

Lucas looked at his best friend's face was full of confusion, he furrowed his eyebrows as if still amazed by Darren's attitude which was like that of the first woman he met.

"Just this time I saw a Darren distracted by people's gazes? Usually he's always cool and doesn't care?" Lucas said later.

"Let's go, we just go in. I'm not sure we can see each other again either." Darren eventually gave up on his own, and opted for re-entry into the show.

"This is the new Darren I know." Lucas followed Darren inside, commenting on his attitude that eventually turned back as usual, being careless and uncaring.

Darren doesn't care about the teasing done by Lucas, he stays straight back into the show.

"So your nickname is Adit?, I thought you'd be called Darren? You see, if you look at your face, it looks like it fits that nickname." Tukas Airin when the new man introduced his full name.

Darren could only smile clumsily as soon as Airin said that line. "Yes, just call me Adit, because I prefer that nickname." The answer is then to try to calm down.

"Ok, then call me Airin too." Reply Airin who no longer argue about it.

The two also shake hands, and throw each other a smile, which signifies the beginning of both the meeting and the closeness of the two.

Adit, that's what Airin called first. Without thinking that the people he knew used to have other nicknames. "She told me her name was Adit, but many called her Darren?" He muttered trying to recall what he heard at the party.

"Did he deliberately hide his identity and name from me?" Airin again can only be glued to what he just knew.

"What does that mean to him asking who I am?" He said with a feeling of laughter, as if still trying to digest what was in the middle of his nature, to make himself give a blank look that was not powerful.

Drrt.. The ringing of the cell phone from his bag rang loudly, turning his attention to the sound. His eyes immediately realized when he saw the name of the penelfon, to make him rearrange his expression and mood that had been still sad.

"Hello, bik." He answered a phone call from his aunt.

"Where are you, why haven't you come home yet? Arka's looking for you from earlier." Bi Rahma.

"Yes, this is Airin on his way home. Sorry bi, Airin was a bit late to go home, because it had been detained by Silvia, so Airin came home a little late, plus now also really jammed." Answer Airin who is a little bit of a lie.

"Oh that, then. Aunty was relieved to hear it, because aunt had worried that you were okay, because from now on has not come home either." The tone of relief was clearly heard from bi Rahma when she heard the explanation from Airin.

"Yes bi, Airin is okay. Yaudah then, Airin's phone closed, because now Airin is still on the road." Airin said he wanted to end his phone soon.

The voice of the phone closed, and outwitted their conversation. Airin was glued as soon as the phone call from bi Rahma ended. He tried to rearrange the look of his sad face because it restrained his sadness, not forgetting to also clean the tears that still moisten his cheeks, to make both eyes look moist because they continue to cry from earlier.

"What will I tell my aunt and uncle, and Arka later? What if I had met him?" Airin let out a long sigh, tried to end his grief, and re-started his car to go home.

In a different place, Darren and Lucas are seen re-entering the party. Although he looks reluctant and his expression is still unable to enjoy the event, Darren looks washed away at his own daydream.

Prang.., suddenly the glass he held fell out of his hand, creating a commotion, and making all eyes look at him.

Lucas, who was not far from his position, was quite surprised by the noise made by Darren. His expression was embarrassed, for fear that Darren would throw another tantrum, but as soon as he approached Darren it turned into panic, seeing Darren's pale-looking face.

"Ren's up, you gapapa, right?" Lucas asked slightly shaking Darren's still-silent body after making the glass break.

"Please help clean the glass?" He said to a servant. "Sorry, it looks like Darren's not feeling well today, so we're saying goodbye." He then takes Darren away from the show.

There is a commotion when Darren and Lucas leave the show, all are seen talking about their departure and the commotion that occurred because Darren broke the glass he was holding.
