"I'm home." Darren said as soon as he entered his house.

As soon as he entered, all his family was seen gathering together in the family room, as if waiting for his arrival.

"Where have you just come from? Did you intentionally make your grandfather wait for you?" Said Ferdi's grandfather to his grandson who was a little late.

"I told you today would be late, who told you to wait for me." Reply Darren cuek.

"You can't be more serious, we've been waiting for you to come, and you're late like this." Timpal papa Darren commented.

"What matters now is that I've come, right?" Said Darren calmly, who then chose to sit down.

Darren's calm attitude certainly made his grandfather and his father stare in disbelief. The two seemed to feel speechless with Darren's attitude, considering how the expression of the two were quite surprised when they saw the rumors circulating about him.

Natalie, who is the stepmother of Darren, just kept silent to see the chatter of her in-laws and husband. No different from Darren's sister, Gloria who seemed not too concerned with the situation, considering her who is not too fond of her own family problems.

"You know why we called you here, right?" Said Edward, papa Darren.

"Is it because of that article?" Darren was still calm.

"Of course because of the rumors and the article, how can you be this calm after getting bad rumors like this." Said Ferdi's grandfather who looked irritated.

"It wasn't once or twice that I got rumors like this, why are grandpa and papa even this big, try?" Darren Cuek.

"This rumor is much more serious because it affects the company, don't you think about it?" Edward.

"Papa cares more about the company than I do. After all, it's not Darren spreading rumors or this article, you should just blame the person who made the rumor and spread the news." Darren seemed to hold back his annoyance at being constantly cornered.

"Had it been, we postpone it first, we better discuss the rumors written in the article. Is the news true?" Said Ferdi's grandfather, asking Darren about the truth of the news.

"Have you guys investigated this rumor?" Darren throws questions back at his grandfather and papa.

"We want to hear it straight from your own mouth. Is it hard to just say it." Grandpa Ferdi was getting impatient with his grandson's calm demeanor.

"What to say, the news is true."

The answer surprised all of his family. They were stunned to hear Darren's honest answer and expression.

"why are you silent, I have told you the truth. Is it because this isn't the answer you want?" Darren cried when he saw his family was silent.

"Wait.., try saying it again." Ferdi's grandfather who was in shock seemed to regulate his breathing and his heart that began to come was shocked.

"There's no repetition, if you don't hear it, it's up." Cuek Darren who refused to say any more.

"You don't joke in situations like this, speak the truth." Timpal Edward commented.

Edward saw clearly the seriousness of his son's face, he felt lost for words as soon as the news about his son turned out to be true. No exception Natalie and Gloria who had just been silent watching, also felt the same shock to hear Darren's explanation about the rumors circulating today.

"What's wrong with having children? Should you be happy with that?"

"Didn't you know how I feel right now, so you know I have a big kid who I didn't even know existed, made me feel sad and sorry, because I should have been able to figure it out in the first place, that way I could take care of it." The next one that seemed to be venting his anger.

Stifled and also stunned for a moment, Ferdi's grandfather seemed unable to refute the words of his grandson who currently looked so angry at him.

"You know that's not what you should be making excuses for now, right?, because after all you have children outside of marriage it's wrong, Darren." Said Edrward, papa Darren who gave his opinion.

Darren silently heard his father's words.

"My heart is still not fully recovered, so I do not know what my relationship was with the mother of my son, but I will raise my son." Said later.

"What about the child's mother? What are you gonna do with him? Marry her?" Ask Edward.

Darren looked at the face of his papa who was currently looking at him sharply full of firmness. He seemed hesitant to give an answer, because there were no plans for him in that direction, considering there was no definite clarity about him and Airin, especially the lack of progress he made on Airin.

"I'll also make it back to my side." Answer then.

"You're really like your mama, always as good as you are and act like you have no problem. What is it that you can solve the problem with?"

"Don't insult mom, pa. She's a wonderful mother to Darren, and since when do you care about Darren? Are you always busy with your work? Mending papa take care of life papa alone, let Darren's business, Darren will solve itself." Uajrnya who then rose from his seat and passed away left his family.

The tension between Darren and Edward certainly makes other families, especially Natalie and Gloria also feel the hot atmosphere between the two.

"Ma, let's just go, we've been quiet here." Gloria whispered to Natalie.

"Duh, you just shut up, don't comment." Reply Natalie gave a silent signal to Gloria.

Natalie only glanced at Gloria who was complaining, considering that she was focused on Darren's problem, as well as the tension that had occurred between her in-laws and her husband.
