Airin suppressed her nervousness when she was about to tell her aunt. He strengthened once again on his decision to say about the biological father of his son.
"What do you want to talk to auntie? No serious problems, right?" Ask bi Rahma as soon as she saw Airin who was still silent.
"That's.., there's actually something Airin really wanted to say to aunt." Airin looked at her aunt's face with a cautious expression.
"What do you want to talk about until you have a serious expression like this?" Bi Rahma asked when she saw Airin's hesitant expression.
"Maybe aunty would be surprised if Airin told me about this, but.it seems Airin can no longer hide this matter to auntie." Said Airin who began to dare to tell his aunt honestly.
"What is this, what are you saying to aunt, is it so serious that you look at aunt like this?" Bi Rahma was quite panicked after hearing Airin's words, coupled with Airin's unusual-looking expression in front of her. The look on his face immediately turned worried to Airin.
"Auntie is calm, nothing happens with Airin, or Arka, really." Airin tried to calm her aunt who was worried about her.
"Thank God, aunt was worried." The tone and expression of relief were clearly visible from the look on his face.
"I'm sorry, if Airin surprises aunt. But, what Airin wants to say is that..."
With little doubt, Airin began telling bi Rahma the truth about her son's biological father, whom she had hidden her identity. The quiet start when bi Rahma listened to Airin's story, but when she learned the truth directly from Airin, her expression immediately turned shocked.
Seeing her aunt who was silent after she told him the truth about the identity of the biological father of her child, made Airin so anxious, for fear that his aunt was disappointed and angry with him.
"Bi, I'm sorry that Airin just told me about this with aunt. Because at that time, Airin was still quite surprised and waited for the right moment also for the same story of aunt and uncle." Said Airin to his aunt who was still silent.
"What are you going to do now? In that case, would it be hard for you to hold her accountable?" Said bi Rahma who gave an expression of concern to the nephew, considering the identity of the child's biological father who turned out to look quite different from him.
Airin who understood the intent of his aunt could only remain silent, as he himself was still confused as to how to deal with his current situation.
"Airin was also still confused, therefore.. Airin can't tell auntie about this."
"At least try to meet her, ask her why she left you, and then ask her to answer, at least for Arka, your son." Said bi Rahma giving her advice.
"Meet him?" Airin sighed in frustration at feeling confused if she had to see him again, considering that she did not know where Darren lived.
"Airin doesn't know where she lives, especially.." He endured his pain when he wanted to speak the truth. "He doesn't remember Airin anymore." The connection later, while putting on a face expression that looks sad.
"Well! How do you mean?" Bi Rahma was shocked when she heard the sentence said by Airin.
"He doesn't remember Airin, bi. When Airin stood in front of him he could not recognize Airin, either he really did not remember the same Airin or just deliberately forgot Airin." Airin.
Bi Rahma drooped down, feeling mixed feelings because of her niece's story. Between disbelief, anger, disappointment and feeling concerned about the fate of his nephew.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Although, you must keep talking to him, if he does not believe, just do the test in order for him to believe that Arka is his son."
Airin looks doubtful to his aunt's remarks, and feels a feeling that is so difficult to do, considering the status of Darren who from different circles with him.
"Is it possible that Airin just gave up on him? Arka didn't ask about her real father anymore?" Said Airin who looked resigned and felt there was no hope.
"Don't say it like that, you try it first, who knows if there's hope. Don't you have any pity on Arka? Although Arka doesn't talk about her real father anymore, it doesn't mean your son won't ask her later."
"Then what should Airin do, bi? If Airin comes to him directly and tells him the truth, then Airin will be considered strange and said to be realistic."
Bi Rahma could not argue, because what Airin said was true as well. Their difference in status was considerable, making it quite reasonable. And, all he could do to his current nephew was try to comfort Airin with a hug and a gentle touch on his back.
"Auntie knows it looks tough. But, for now maybe you have to suppress your ego, at least for the sake of your child who will continue to grow big." Bi Rahma who let go of her embrace, tried to convince Airin once again.
"Airin try to think about it, later. Now Airin's really still confused about this."
"Auntie doesn't tell you to make a decision right away, but whatever decision you make, aunt will still support you. But, at least try to think about what aunt said earlier."
"Yes, bi. Thank you for listening to Airin's story and for not being angry about it."
"Auntie who should be grateful, because you want to tell this to aunt. Next time don't hold your own, try telling auntie, can aunty help you."
"Yes, bi." Airin smiles at the warmth of her aunt who has always treated herself well.
There was relief in Airin's heart when he told his aunt. Although he had not really found the best solution of his grief, but by just telling honestly to his aunt made him feel more relieved and comfortable.
"If you have spoken to the father of your child, maybe later you can tell your child freely about who the father is. You can't possibly keep it hidden, can you, about the identity of her real father to Arka?"
"Yes, bi. Airin also wanted him to tell Arka. But, on the one hand Airin felt fear, afraid if his father would not admit it, and later even hurt Arka." Said Airin who worried about his son's feelings.
Bi Rahma gave a small nod, seeming to agree on the worry that Airin was feeling.
"Just slow down, slow down. While Arka has not asked about her father anymore, you just try to meet the father of your child. If it doesn't work, at least you've tried, and aunt will continue to be by your side and Arka even though she won't admit you to your child."
The tear ball began to pool, because it felt touched by the words of his aunt.
"Thank you, bi." Airin's mouth began to wet both cheeks.
