1 Hour later.
They had been sitting in one of Sokcho's seafood stalls. Ji-Ho still can't stop smiling happily, while the heat of Nara's face still hasn't cooled down. This is the first time Nara has been rammed by someone, and in reality, she has just hugged Ji-Ho, her idol, for almost 45 minutes. Meeting Ji-Ho was like a fairy tale, and today she even hugs him. Is this just a dream? Nara pinched her thigh, but she still hissed feeling pain, so this was not a dream.
"Are we going to order something or just sit here?" Park Kyung finally spoke up in a sarcastic tone after seeing the two people accompanying her still silent.
Ji-Ho is a joke. "Ah, yes, you're, um, right," then he cleared his throat slowly before calling the servant's mother. "Imo~ jeogi~" he waved in the air.
A servant mother came and recorded their order. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes interspersed with conversation, their order came. At the table finally available each bowl of rice, a serving of fresh raw salmon, a serving of seafood soup, a serving of spicy octopus, and a serving of raw snapper.
"Sorry, I forgot to take this out," the servant's mother came back with a plate full of octopuses. Unripe. It has been cut into small pieces, yet it still moves and wriggles on the plate.
Nara could not take her eyes off with half a glare from the moment the plate was still in the hands of the servant mother until the plate landed on their table. His mouth was now slightly open, still feeling amazed.
"You've never tried this before?" Park Kyung who was sitting in front of Nara could clearly see the expression of the girl who was half shocked and half amazed.
Nara shook her head. "I've seen it on TV before, but I've never tried,"
Park Kyung picks up a pair of chopsticks on the box provided on the table. "Then you should try it. It will feel moving in your mouth" he took a piece of moving octopus with his chopsticks and raised it close to Nara's closed lips, intending to feed it. "Yetoo..."
"Yes! Mwohaneun geoya?” ji-ho shouted in Korean, again jealous when he saw Park Kyung's behavior.
"Mwo ?? Mwo?? Mwo?”
"Jugeullae? "
"Wae's? Neo jigeum jiltu haneun geoya?"
"O! Your neom! Bi-kyeo!"
"Sagaj! "
"MWO? Michin name!"
"Jal meoggesseubnida~ Geumanhaeyo, huh? " rush Nara said like that to stop Ji-Ho and Park Kyung's argument. He rubbed his exhausted nape as it moved left and right staring at the 2 people alternately. Although he was not very fluent in Korean, he knew that the two of them were throwing words of oath against each other. As he watched the drama, those words often appeared.
The two men in front of her were now staring at Nara with gawking faces, making the girl clumsy. He took a piece of octopus that wriggled with his chopsticks and put it in his mouth. But after the first chew, he took a tissue and threw out his mouth because it felt strange and the octopus still felt moving in his mouth. Not to mention there is a sticky sensation and it becomes difficult to chew. Nara doesn't like it.
"Hangugmal haseyo's? " park Kyung's jaw dropped making her mouth slightly gaping as she realized that the girl sitting in front of her could speak Korean.
On the other hand, Ji-Ho grimaces while patting her forehead softly. He completely forgot that actually Nara could understand a little Korean, when they first met and she spoke to the woman who had milk on her shirt, she was speaking Korean. Now he feels wrong to have spoken like that with Park Kyung.
"Jogeum, "Nara brought her thumb and index finger closer together, leaving a bit of a blemish in between.
"Excuse our language," Ji-Ho said hurriedly.
"You know we've both been friends for a long time, so we don't pay much attention to our words anymore. Because even though we swore at each other, we knew in our hearts that we loved each other" Park Kyung added. Hearing that Ji-Ho makes a vomiting-like style and shakes her head as her eyes flicker with disdain.
Nara laughs at the behavior of the 2 friends, but not for long, because Park Kyung suddenly interrupts. "So, you realize Ji-Ho wasn't jealous?" Park Kyung tilts her head and throws a grin at Ji-Ho.
"Ahaha...Jal meoggeosseubnida," awkwardly Nara takes the raw salmon and eats it to avoid Park Kyung's question. "Umm.it's delicious," he moved his hips and head happily. The salmon melted in his mouth and he could taste its freshness with the sweetness of the salmon and the salty taste of the soy sauce.
"It's good that you like it" Nara's reaction makes Ji-Ho laugh. He thinks the reaction is pretty cute.
"Umm.. um hilli huut, I loh it (it's really good, I love it)" Nara again blabbed while chewing rice and snapper that she just put in her mouth. He came back happy. She is very fond of seafood, although raw-well, except raw-octopus. He could not stop feeding the food into his mouth.
Ji-Ho rests her elbows on the table and supports her cheeks with her palms while her eyes are glued towards Nara. Both of her eyeballs were like shining brightly as they followed every move Nara made. If the bad eating habits that Nara said this morning were like this, she certainly wouldn't mind, because she thought they all looked adorable.
"So you'll be busy again tomorrow?" ji-ho asks, still smiling with eyes that are not in the least bit distracted.
"I? But I bet it won't be as busy as you are" Nara grinned.
"Well, this week we're done promoting the new album,"
"So you have no other job?"
"Not really, we still have advertising offers and TV show offers, and for me as usual, making new songs" explained Ji-Ho who greeted Nara with a nod.
"You must have known that he was workaholic. He's a gold digger," sidelines Park Kyung. Ji-Ho sighed hearing that. He can't even deny it. His world is always revolving around work. All his time, even his free time he used to work. To be honest, he did not have to worry because he did not have anyone to spend his time other than the members of the group and his family. But now there is Nara, even though they are not lovers or so, he really wants to spend more time with the girl and get to know her better. So he worries that one day he will have to choose between Nara or her job.
"That's because Ji-Ho works with her passion. I'm so envious" Nara commented with a sad, contrived face.
"Yes, I'm envious too. Envy to the money he made," Park Kyung jokingly stated that while emphasizing the word money. And the three of them laughed at the same time.
"By the way, what are you doing here exactly? I mean in Korea," Park Kyung asked after they stopped laughing.
Nara began to talk about her exchange program and what activities they were doing in Korea. Park Kyung nods once twice while listening, while Ji-Ho only listens in silence because he has already asked her.
"So how long are you gonna stay here?"
"About 3 months, but maybe I'll extend my stay for a walk of about 2 weeks,"
"So you'll only stay for 3 and a half months?" while making sure, Park Kyung looks at Ji-Ho with a gaze asking if she knows about this. A conscious Ji-Ho is being stared at stopping the movement of chopsticks entering his mouth.
Ji-Ho turns around and nods towards Park Kyung, able to read her best friend's mind. Park Kyung again threw the gaze of 'You're crazy huh?' at Ji-Ho. But Ji-Ho only retaliates by shrugging her shoulders as a sign she doesn't really care.
Park Kyung sighed in frustration. He did not know that Nara would only live for such a short time in Korea. Park Kyung really admits right now that Ji-Ho can go crazy if he's in love. It feels like he wants to slap Ji-Ho's cheek to make her aware. What does his best friend think? What does his best friend expect? Nada will only stay for 3 billion more and after Nara returned to Indonesia then what? If Nara will return his feelings, then they are dating, then will they break up again because of distance? It's just like going back to Hye Jung's case. Surviving long-distance relationships is difficult, especially with this great distance, Korea and Indonesia! 3280.8 Km away!
"What's wrong?" Nara stares at Ji-Ho and Park Kyung alternately, feeling something odd.
But, when one of them was about to answer, the voice of the incoming call from Nara's phone interrupted.
