"You still laughing?" Ji-Ho turns her head, looking at the girl walking by her side.
"Yes. Hahaha," replied Nara briefly then continued laughing loudly, again. With his finger, he wiped away the tears that appeared in the outer corner of his eyes from laughing too much.
His brain turned around in light of the previous events. It happened just before they walked among the towering trees of this garden.
After Ji-Ho reaches out and Nara welcomes her, they stand face to face in silence. Just looking at each other with a smile. Moments like that until then Ji-Ho looks down and advances her face. He approached, trying to cut the distance between the two of them when suddenly... Pluck up!
The bird droppings fall right on Ji-Ho's forehead and nose. Both of their eyes were wide. Ji-Ho straightens up, curses briefly and then raises her face and heads to the sky, nagging at the bird that has flown somewhere. While Nara had laughed loudly while holding her stomach. Even he is unaware of Ji-Ho who has put on a sullen look. As a result, their walk in the park is delayed because they have to clean Ji-Ho's face in the toilet first.
How many times was remembered, the incident made Nara's stomach shake. Her laughter just flows wildly though Ji-Ho has warned her many times to stop laughing.
"Gosh, it made me feel so much better. I even forgot that I was sad" I nara laughed.
Ji-Ho finally chuckles. "Thank God you feel better. I'd rather see you laugh than cry. Tears don't suit you." Ji-Ho grabs Nara's hand and grabs it while continuing to walk.
Nara's cheeks blush. His face was probably already as hot as the air of Seoul this afternoon. But he's happy. He clasps Ji-Ho in the hand and swings her cheerfully while continuing to steal a smile towards the man.
"So your grandfather is dead?" ji-ho asks, reopening the conversation after quite a distance they just walk while throwing each other a smile.
Nara nodded. "5 years ago she died. It's just me and my grandmother now,"
Ji-Ho. He waited for Nara to tell him about her parents' whereabouts, but it seemed that the girl had no intention of discussing it. Ji-Ho asks about it. "Then your grandmother how? Healthy?"
"Yes. It's too late to be healthy, though," quipped Nara with a small ruckus. "Or not, grandma has a small group she runs, called the Plant Lovers Club. So, the people in our city who want to share experiences about plants and others are many who joined in this group of my grandmother. He's very active, right? Even I who was young like this did not join any group or club" he said.
"Oh yeah?" Ji-Ho laughs at the figure of the grandmother in Nara's story. Then she turned her head and with a serious face she said, "Did your grandmother not want to join the 7Seasons fans club? Who knows if he wants to be the president of 7Princess Indonesia."
Nara's laughter broke. "My grandmother is 7Princess. He's a big fan of In Pyo" he explained.
"really?" This time Ji-Ho is really shocked. She didn't expect Nara's grandmother to be a fan. But his proposal was just a joke.
"really. Grandma even asked me to bring her In Pyo something. He wants a mug,"
"Mugs? Alright, I'll make a special order for your grandmother. That mug will be special and there are no equals in this world. I'm going to show you In Pyo's latest photo and even his signature,"
"Asaa! Grandma must be happy," Nara clenched her hands excitedly.
"Oh yeah," Ji-Ho suddenly remembers something. "I? How's my? Does your grandmother like me too?" he pointed his index finger at himself.
Nara grimacing. "He doesn't like you very much. Said you had sharp eyes that looked evil,"
Ji-Ho's jaw dropped making her start wide open. "What?!"
Nara shrugged her shoulders. What he said was the truth. Her grandmother doesn't like Ji-Ho very much. When they watch 7Season shows or their TV shows, her grandmother always says Ji-Ho has eyes that make her like a bad guy and a traitor. She dislikes those eyes despite how many times Nara tries to change her grandmother's opinion.
"Whoah! Nara, if your grandmother calls later, tell her how good I am" Ji-Ho protested. He held back his steps, pulling the hand of the girl in his hand to make the girl also stop walking. "Just tell me how I'm so different from what he has in mind and tell me you've met me in person,"
Nara simply responded with laughter.
"Come on, you have to tell him good things about me" he whined.
Nara shook her hands. "Oh, forget it. It's okay if my grandmother doesn't like you. What matters is that I like you,"
"You like me?" ji-ho Smile.
"Yes. I'm your fan," answered Nara casually and then released her hand from Ji-Ho's grasp and then walked back, making Ji-Ho follow behind her with a smile.
Nara stops at the park's guardrail with an artificial lake. He leaned his body against the fence with both hands as a buffer. His face looked up, his eyes closed, enjoying the warm breeze of greeting. It feels fresh there. Although it is hot because it is in season, but at least the wind is still clean, in contrast to other places in Seoul which is crowded with people and transportation activities.
Beside her, Ji-Ho looks on without getting bored. "Nara," he called her slowly. Nara turned her head and raised an eyebrow. "Is there anything else you want to tell me?"
"What do you want to know?" ask Nara back.
Beside her, Ji-Ho sniffs her shoulders. "Once, anything. Since I already know some things you like, how about now things you hate or fear?"
"How about I make another choice?" ji-ho.
But Nara shook her head. "No, the choice for something to hate will be difficult. Let me just say," Nara raised her hand to count. "I hate chickpeas, melons, beef or chicken that is still red, herbal drinks, the smell of cigarettes, traffic jams, darkness, milk strawberries, the smell of formalin, hmm?" Nara is fond of things that she does not like. Actually there are many more, but it looks like he has to shrink it to be the least liked. To say everything might take all day. "I also hate the sound of mosquitoes, peeling apples, slow internet, waiting, abandonment, and crowds. Maybe it was, "he ended his long list.
"You hate crowds too?" ask Ji-Ho. The latter caught his attention because he was the same. In addition to concerts and fan meetings, or filming TV shows and photoshoots that require a lot of staff, he hates other crowds. It might also be the effect of him spending too much time in a quiet studio. Or because if he goes out to a crowded place, he is afraid that someone will recognize him, and he can be hunted by fans so he can not focus on what he wants to do.
"If the crowd is not really hate. I have a phobia" Nara explained in a relaxed tone. After telling it to Chul Goo, inexplicably telling it again to Ji-Ho is now much easier and more relaxed.
"Phobia?"
"Yes, like that. In the past, I couldn't even get out of the house at all. I'm gonna have a panic attack. Many or not, the same. If not at home, over time I will be short of breath, dizziness, and even usually fainting. After much better treatment, I was able to get out of the house alone. But to come to a crowded or noisy place I can't yet. My panic disorder still often appears in such places," explained Nara.
Ji-Ho muses at Nara's explanation. Ah, is it possible that Nara said she couldn't come to her concert? Maybe it was just an excuse at the time that he said there was some business.
"What was the problem until you got a phobia?"
Nara clenched her lips tightly. "The problem? Seems not. Just come by itself," he seemed.
"That's it..." Ji-Ho nodded in understanding. Then he rubbed his chin with a frown, thinking of something. "Then." shortly afterwards he said. "Maybe we were meant to be together? I'm a famous idol can't be in the crowd for fear of paparazzi and fan attacks, whereas you can't be in the crowd because of your agoraphobia. It fits, right?"
Ji-Ho's statement made Nara laugh. But there might be a point, too.
"But anyway, you have to heal your phobia. I want to see you in the row of fans at my concert. You must also want to see my concert or the 7Seasons concert live right?"
Nara nodded. Wanna, he's very willing. It has been his dream since a long time ago. It was even one of the reasons he wanted to recover from his phobia.
"I'll help you. I will help you get used to the crowd" Ji-Ho said confidently.
"How?"
"Um...how about we go to Myeongdong?"
"Myeongdong?"
"Yes. Weekends like this are sure to be very crowded there,"
Nara's face looks hesitant to hear Ji-Ho's proposal. He had seen videos of tourists spending time in Myeongdong and he remembered that moment in his brain immediately came to the thought that it seemed like he would never go there, see the crowd. Moreover, this weekend, as Ji-Ho said earlier, will definitely be very crowded. "It doesn't seem like a good idea" Nara murmured.
But Ji-Ho still doesn't give up. He felt that one way to cure Nara was to meet her with her fear to get her used to it and find a gap to not panic anymore. "Come on, there's me. Trust me. Yea?" wheedled.
After a few minutes of thinking, Nara finally took a deep breath and nodded in agreement. "All right..."
"Okay!" Ji-Ho clenched her hands in the air.
Nara's smile grew to see the man beside her who was so excited. The man also smiled. A smile so bright and warm. Nara felt, among the various misfortunes she faced during her life, this was one of good luck, being able to get that smile. It feels like just dreaming.
If this is a dream, he does not want to wake up. "Thank you, oppa," those words just slid through Nara's mouth.
Ji-Ho turns her head, with her narrow eyes perfectly rounded. "Oppa?" repeated ensure.
Nara turned her eyes. Pretend to look ahead, like there's something interesting far away.
But Ji-Ho moves out of place. Her tall body was now in front of Nara, blocking the girl's sight. Both of his hands held Nara's shoulders. "I mean earlier, 'oppa' in the sense of 'honey' right? Not in the sense of 'sister'?" Ji-Ho's face is red when she says it. He was embarrassed, but he also wanted to confirm Nara's heart.
Nara's cheeks have also met. The answer to Ji-Ho's question just came out like a tweet. "I guess..."
Unexpectedly Nara, the next second, with a quick movement, Ji-Ho lowered her head. He brought his face closer to Nara and slowly kissed her lips.
