It had been ten minutes for Nara to stare at the white building in front of her. At the top front of the building was plastered said the Main Hall, made of stainless steel, which is currently exposed to sunlight and makes glare when looking at it. The watch on his right hand had shown at 4 pm, but it turned out that the sun was still burning and radiating heat and light.
Nara shook her hands in front of her face, trying to make the heat decrease with the cold wind from her hands. But the effort didn't work. He should have walked in to feel the cold from the air conditioner, but he did it 10 minutes ago.
The concert inside there must have started, but either Ji-Ho has performed or not. This is not her solo concert, but a collaboration concert, there are other artists performing as well, and Nara does not know what time or turn Ji-Ho will be performing, because he himself said he would not come. It is impossible for him to watch the concert, maybe just hearing the sound of the audience that is certainly very much it from the outside alone will make his panic rebel out.
To test herself, Nara walked a few steps closer to the entrance. But only about 20 meters walk, the sound of the sound of music has been lamentable accompanied by the cheers of the audience. Nara paused her steps then moved back a few steps and re-located in place with a long sigh. It won't work. Even if he had taken a sedative before, maybe he would just stand listening from the outside, would not work inside with so many people and the sound of music so loud.
"O! Nara-ssi!!" a voice suddenly sounded from behind Nara accompanied by the sound of approaching feet.
Nara was shocked to hear her name being called. Then he immediately turned around and saw Park Kyung half-running towards him with waving hands.
"O! Park Kyung-ssi," Nara replies with a stiff mimic when Park Kyung has stood in front of her. In her heart feeling like she was caught off guard meeting Park Kyung outside the Jiho concert area, she panicked. He panics thinking about the continuation of this meeting with Park Kyung. Definitely the end of their conversation, Park Kyung will take her in. It's too late to run now.
"Say you can't come?" park Kyung asked, interrupting Nara's thoughts, while wiping the sweat of the two dots that had sprung up on her forehead.
Hearing that Nara slightly gasped, but tried not to show it so clearly. His brain was turning around trying to find an excuse. He shouldn't have come, after all he said that yesterday. It is not anyone's fault that now he is confused to find an excuse because what he did is not in accordance with what he said. "Ah, yes, my business was finished sooner. So I decided to come, "that's finally the reason that came out of Nara's mouth. "But why are you late, Park Kyung-ssi?"
"Oh that, I had a photo shoot first. So after finishing the photo shoot I just got here" Nara just nodded in response to Park Kyung's brief explanation. "Let's go to Nara-ssi! It seems like Jiho's performance is only 2 or 3 songs away," Park Kyung asked later without continuing the stale language while walking ahead of Nara.
Heartbroken, Nara's body twirled following Park Kyung's body which walked ahead of her leading to the building's entrance.
But Nara does not move from where she stands, she only sees Park Kyung's back starting to move away. He was too afraid to step. He was afraid to enter the building. His hands began to get wet in his squeeze when he again heard the echo of the audience's voice accompanied by the sound of blaring music. The voice even sounded very clear from outside where he was standing at the moment, what if he was inside.
Nara looked down at the floor below with the intensity of the breath beginning to increase. Without realizing it, Park Kyung had stopped her steps when she realized her surroundings were empty with no one to follow. "Nara-ssi?" call her, but Nara doesn't budge.
"Nara-ssi?" Park Kyung called again. This time while walking back to Nara.
Nara only regained consciousness when Park Kyung's two hands were already holding her shoulders slowly. In a flash, Nara suddenly lifted her head and found the face of the man in front of her was staring confused "Huh?"
"You all right? Why do you look pale?"
"I'm fine, I'm fine" replied Nara trying to sound as calm as possible. But Park Kyung doesn't believe what she hears. What he saw now was Nara as pale as a sick person, and he believed it was nothing. After a moment of thought, Park Kyung pulled something out of her pocket.
"Wear this," Park Kyung hangs a signboard around Nara's neck. "It belongs to a staff I know. If they use this they won't wonder about your identity, they'll just think you're one of the staff. The reporters or paparazzi who come will not be suspicious either" Park Kyung explained at length when she realized Nara was looking at her with a questionable look. "Come, let's go backstage, it looks like we'll take responsibility if we also go in to watch now. And again you can rest in Jiho's dressing room,"
Nara was stunned staring at the nameplate she was wearing. Lee Yong Ah, hair stylist. His heartbeat and breathing had already calmed down hearing the idea from Park Kyung. At least he could calm down because the man no longer invited him into the concert area. So now, the contents of his mind have begun to divert.
Following Park Kyung, Nara walked down the front of the building decorated with high pillars and turned into the path that was between the Main Hall building and the building next to it. The path is shady, because it is flanked by 2 buildings that are high enough to block the sunlight.
While walking, Nara stared at the occasional Park Kyung who was just walking silently with both hands put in her pockets. Suddenly something came to the girl's mind. "You do this often? This is your way of getting girls into the backstage?" candanya, nudging the arm of Park Kyung who walked beside her, tried to interfere.
Without responding to Nara, Park Kyung just rolled her eyeballs, not at all disturbed. "As you know, it was Ji-Ho's idea. At first he did tell me to take you backstage and finish his performance. But seeing your condition it's better we go there now. You can rest in Jiho's locker room, and again." Park Kyung's words came to a halt as she turned around and found Nara staring at her with her eyebrows clutched. Nara's expression looked quite upset.
"So he does this often? Often invite other girls to the backstage?" nara asked, not realizing that her voice sounded tight.
"really?" nara's gaze still showed a look of disbelief. But seeing Park Kyung nod and still with a calming face, Nara nodded in acceptance of those words.
Soon they reached the back of the Main Hall. They both turned left, looking for the back door of the building. Before long, they finally arrived at the door with shades of brown escorted by a security officer in black with a sturdy body and a height of at least 2 meters. At first Nara felt faint, seeing the fierce face of the security guard and his towering body. Also because he was not confident and felt that he would be barred from entering, Park Kyung pushed his left shoulder to keep walking until they confronted the security guard.
"Jin Woo Ahjussi, annyeongghaseyo!" Park Kyung bowed politely in front of the officer. Seeing that Nara's eyes were round. He stared at Park Kyung and the security guard alternately. He did not expect, Park Kyung looks very familiar with the security officer until he knows his name.
The security officer named Jin Woo bowed, returning Park Kyung's greetings. "Ne, annyeongghaseyo,"
Because it feels bad if he does not bend, Nara also does the same thing as Park Kyung did. He bowed his body towards Jin Woo with a smile that was immediately replied with a smile and bowed also by Jin Woo.
"How are you doing Kyung? All right?" jin Woo asked directly in Korean after upholding his body and returning to see Park Kyung.
"Yes, ahjussi, I'm fine. How's ahjussi?" park Kyung replied with a smile. While Nara was just speechless, again staring at Park Kyung and Jin Woo alternately as they spoke Korean.
"Yes, of course it's fine too. I should be fine if I want to be a security guard, right?" he answered while laughing. Nara stunned. The frightening impression that had appeared was now gone, replaced with a warm impression.
"You must be here to see Ji-Ho, right?" jin Woo asked as he patted Park Kyung on the shoulder in a friendly manner. Park Kyung replied with a nod.
Jin Woo's gaze then turned towards Nara. Smiling a little then turned towards Park Kyung again, "Who is she then?" tanyanya back.
"Ah, she's our new stylist assistant," Park Kyung replied casually and not as suspiciously as possible while pointing at Nara.
The real Nara doesn't understand what Park Kyung and Jin Woo are talking about because Park Kyung points at him. Confused what to say, Nara only nodded once while smiling at Jin Woo.
"All right, you guys just go in. It seems like Ji-Ho is almost done. Maybe it's just 1 or 2 more" Jin Woo starts to open the door behind him, letting Park Kyung and Nara in.
"Gomawoyo ahjussi," said Park Kyung and Nara simultaneously who were only replied with a wave of Jin Woo's hand as the two of them began to walk into the backstage area.
"How did you get to know him?" nara asked as the two of them walked amidst the dim light of the backstage room. The sound of a musical bang, the voice of Ji-Ho performing his song, as well as the sound of the audience cheering fused and echoed backstage. Nara held onto her chest that was pounding, the effect of that echo, but it was fortunate that in this backstage there were not so many people, so she could calm down a little.
"Of course I know, I used to go to college here. When a lot of fans came and made me unable to even get in the car, Jin Woo ahjussi always helped me" Park Kyung explained at length. He turned to the right side of the room and continued to step up until he reached the white door bearing Woo Ji-Ho's name in front of him.
"Let's go in," Park Kyung turns the knob, pushes the door, and lets Nara in first before stepping in.
The waiting room was quite small, only measuring 2 x 2 meters with white shades in it. There was no one, only a dressing table, hangers, and a small table on top of which was arranged to share accessories on the right side of the room and a long sofa opposite. On top of the dressing glass is a 20-inch television that is playing a live performance of the ongoing event at the Main Hall building. So right now on television it's showing Ji-Ho jumping around on stage performing her song.
Nara's gaze was immediately fixed on the screen. Standing in the middle of the room, he is unaware that he is now half-gaping with his eyes round and twinkle watching Ji-Ho. Though in hindsight it was common for him to watch Ji-Ho from the screen - cell phones, computers, laptops, or televisions -, he said, but somehow he was always stunned every time he saw the appearance of a new Ji-Ho.
Behind him, Park Kyung repeatedly tells him to sit on the sofa, watching from there. But Nara doesn't budge, she already listens to nothing but Ji-Ho's voice coming out of the television speakers.
Park Kyung finally gave up. The corner of her lips was only raised displaying a faint smile looking at Nara's behavior. "If it's like this, there's no way Ji-Ho likes to clap one hand" her inner self in her heart.
